# 1 - Knight in Navy Hoodie
Warnings: sexual harassment
"Hey sweetheart." A man leered, his eyes scraping up and down my body. My nose scrunched up unhappily. "How about I get you a drink?"
"I'm okay, thank you." I replied, forcing the politest smile I could muster onto my lips. His brow furrowed and his eyes darkened considerably. My heart sped up.
"I don't think that's very polite, darlin'" He muttered threateningly, his hand moving to rest on my knee causing me to shift uncomfortably in his grip, trying to move away but his hold on me just tightened. "Now, how about that drink?" He didn't wait for me to say anything before turning to order a drink that was quickly set in front of me. His eyes watched me. Studying my every movement as an idea popped in my head. I pretended to jump slightly before reaching into my purse. I took out my phone, unlocking it then I opened the keypad. I looked up at the man who stared into my eyes and I quickly typed my number out from memory, changing the last digit to a random number and dialed.
"Sorry, it's my boyfriend. One second." I apologized with a fake chuckle and quickly pressed the phone to my ear, waiting for whoever was on the other line to pick up.
"Peralta." They answered.
"Hey, babe!" I chirped and was met with silence on the other end.
"What?" The person questioned, obviously confused.
"How are you?"
"...What?" They asked again.
"I'm great, thanks!" I spoke, the man still eyeing me. "I'm at the Calico Tavern, wearing that blue dress you like. A lovely man just bought me a drink." I smiled at the man in front of me, he smirked back and I tried not to vomit in my mouth
"Wait, are you okay?" Peralta questioned, obviously catching onto what I was doing.
"Oh, no." I giggled, trying to low-key tell him that no, I was not okay, I was about to freak out. "You know I don't like fish, it tastes weird."
"Are you in Brooklyn?" He asked, somewhat urgently.
"Of course!" I said with a grin, glancing back to the man in front of me who was tapping his foot impatiently.
"I'm on my way, stay calm."
"I don't know how much longer I'll be." I told him.
"Look, I think I'll be there in like 5 minutes. Do you think you can stall him from doing anything too creepy?"
"I'll do my best." I said with a smile when suddenly I felt a hand grab my wrist, yanking the phone from my ear. He hung it up and dropped it onto the bar.
"How about we get some fresh air? Have a little fun?" He questioned with wide brows, tugging me to my feet. I looked around the bar to see no one. Even the bartender had gone to the employee's only section. I shook my head.
"Sorry, my boyfriend's going to be picking me up soon-" He quickly cut me off.
"What he doesn't know won't hurt him sweetheart." He grinned and pulled me out the door. I squeaked and squeezed my eyes shut in pain as he pushed me up against the brick wall. Just as soon as he was pressing himself against me, he was at the wall besides me. I heard someone reading him the Miranda rights and hesitantly opened my eyes to see a handsome man in jeans and a hoodie. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw him being put in handcuffs, though the glare he was directing towards me unsettled me somewhat. Peralta heaved the man off the wall and into the car, slamming the door on him before he turned to me, dusting his hands off.
"So, are you okay, babe?" He smirked and I chuckled, blushing as I buried my face into my hands.
"Sorry." He smiled down at me.
"Don't be. In fact, that was pretty smart thinking, well done." He congratulated. "Do you need a ride home?" He gestured to the police car behind him.
"No thank you." I smiled. "I'd rather not catch a ride with that creep." He nodded in understanding as I looked at the side of the police car. "Maybe I could drop by your office some time and thank you properly." He grinned and nodded.
"I think that'll work." He agreed. "I'm a sucker for cookies, just fyi." I chuckled.
"Then cookies I shall bring as an award for your daring bravery."
We were interrupted by the man in the car banging his head against the window. "If I'm goin' to the station at least hurry!" He ground out and Jake crossed his arms, rolling his eyes and turning to me.
"So where're you parked?" He asked and I pointed up the alleyway.
"Just at the front, I'll be fine officer." I teased.
"Jake." He replied. I tilted my head in confusion. "My name's Jake." He clarified.
"Well, Jake." I began. "Thanks for helping me out there."
"My pleasure."
