Plot: Okay, I stopped after Chapter 1. The point is, the chapter length is a bit excessive for my liking, but if you intended it to be that long, that's your decision and I'm no-one to tell you to split it into more parts. Anyway, this is a story I'd gladly keep reading because the characters are developed in a way through which readers can relate at least partially to them. I also like your descriptive approach and how you balanced description, narration and dialogue.
