Jaden: This is for sure my favourite type of Pokemon. It's very defensive, has many resistances and destroys fairy types.

Thundrr: Where are we?

Jaden: We are at a Steel Mill my friend.

Lucas: That explains all the furnaces.

Jaden: Let's begin.

Number 10

Jaden: To begin with this list, I am starting things off with Steelix. This Pokemon has one of the highest defense stats and is good for set up. Also, its mega evolution is very useful in competitive.

Thundrr: Then why is it so low?

Jaden: Well, it's offensive stats aren't the greatest so it doesn't deal too much damage.

Lucas: It does when it has mega evolved though.

Jaden: That is true.

Number 9

Jaden: Next up is Bastiodon. This one is basically like a wall that can easily take a hit from almost anything. Unless that opponent so happens to know fighting, ground or water type moves.

Lucas: Wait, it's attack is way lower than Steelix's. Why is it higher?

Jaden: Because when people go against it, they think that they're going to destroy it. However, when they use a move that would normally destroy it, it survives with its ability sturdy. Then, I use the move Metal Burst which sends the damage right back at them and destroying them.

Thundrr: Oh yeah, you told me that you used that strategy to destroy someone in competitive.

Jaden: That is why Metal Burst is one of my favourite moves.

Number 8

Jaden: For the number 8 spot, we have Aggron. Not really much to explain here, it's basically the same as Bastiodon. Only, it has more offensive power making it more useful in battle.

Thundrr: It also has an amazing mega evolution and its ability Filter makes super effective attacks do less damage.

Jaden: That too.

Number 7

Number 6

Jaden: When I played Pokemon White, this Pokemon looked amazing in my eyes. It was like Wolverine and the blades on its arms look like they can easily kill someone. That's right, I'm talking about Bisharp.

Lucas: Yeah, I agree. It's pretty good and if its ability is Defiant, it becomes a monster in competitive.

Jaden: Took the words right out of my mouth.

Number 5

Jaden: I've used this Pokemon a lot and it has become one of my favourites to use in competitive. Metagross has always been my favourite of the Pseudo Legendaries and it is probably one of the best megas to use in competitive.

Thundrr: And that shiny too. It looks amazing.

Lucas: Anyone who doesn't like the shiny might find someone at their door soon.

Jaden: Ignore what he just said.

Number 4

Jaden: This has got to be one of the trolliest Pokemon in competitive by far. Of course I'm talking about Jirachi.

Lucas: Oh god, going up against one is horrible. But going up against someone who spams Zen Headbutt and Iron Head is a nightmare.

Thundrr: Anyone who does that, you will be hated by many.

Jaden: I only do that if it's a desperate situation so thank goodness.

Number 3

Jaden: Pokemon Black 2, you can catch the Swords of Justice in the main storyline. Virizion was ok, I didn't use Terrakion but the best one is Cobalion. Not only is it good in battle, it is basically the main leader of the Swords of Justice. He is based off of Athos, the leader of the Three Musketeers.

Lucas: I like that story.

Thundrr: The lore is amazing.

Jaden: I also liked the role it played in the movie. It's very fitting.

Number 2

Jaden: For the runner up spot, we have Scizor, the first added additional evolution. It is a very powerful Pokemon in competitive and it's mega evolution looks cool.

Thundrr: Isn't he one of your favourites to use in most competitive play?

Jaden: Correct, just give it the right learnset. Adamant nature, Technician, Swords Dance, Aerial Ace, Bug Bite and Bullet Punch. Give it a Mega Stone, BOOM, you've got power.

Lucas: I think I know what's number 1.

Jaden: Well, I guess you probably know my favourite Steel type. It's Lucario.

Lucas: I knew it.

Jaden: Of course he's the best. The backstory, the design, the mega evolution. What's not to like? It can be used as either a physical or special attacker and it is good in competitive.
