Jaden: 'Allo governors, Jaden here. Now, about a year ago, I made a list of my top 10 favourite ships. Now, I have changed quite a lot recently and have been introduced into some new ships and was brought into ships of characters that I have loved in the past but hadn't realised because I was a naive child back then. So for this list, I will be going over my favourite ships again and like always, the rule is the same. 1 ship per franchise.

Thundrr: I am really excited to see what has changed.

Number 10

Jaden: Honestly, I feel really bad for putting this one so low but, I'm sure a bunch of people can understand my reasoning.

Thundrr: Probably, considering the characters.

Jaden: The one who barely makes the list is Issei and Rias from Highschool DxD. I know a lot of fans will say that they are such a cute couple and all and I do agree with that. The reason being is because while they have such a strong relationship, there was a lot of doubt happening throughout the series.

Thundrr: Yeah, with Issei doubting he'll ever be loved by another girl and Rias doubting if he will see her as herself and not by her status. I agree that they are a really good couple but it seemed to me that there was a lot of downfall in between.

Jaden: At least they were able to confess though, that is the important part.

Thundrr: True.

Number 9

Jaden: I'll be honest, I loved this ship a lot when I was younger but now, it just seems to not get as much love because of what happens in Dragon Ball Super. Especially since I haven't yet watched the series. I'm mainly referring to the ship of Goku and Chi Chi aka Gochi.

Thundrr: I find it weird that you ship them considered that the relationship doesn't appear to be that healthy.

Jaden: While it is true that Chi Chi has a tendency to nag Goku a lot and being very angry over a lot of small things, I still like how Goku was able to get a girl. I thought he wouldn't be able to but he did and he has shown time and time again that he cares for her. Especially that one thing I heard about Goku Black killing Chi Chi and Goten. I've yet to see it so I am not too sure.

Thundrr: Don't start writing anything in the comments about this because he does not want any spoilers.

Number 8

Jaden: I honestly feel a little sad for putting this one so low but I prefer the other ships more so I'll have to do it. It is the ship of Professor Layton and Claire. Yes, one of the saddest ships ever. *starts tearing up* It still makes me want to cry.

Thundrr: *also in tears* If you want to know the reason, Claire was the girlfriend of Professor Layton who supposedly died in an experiment on building time machines. Turns out, it sent her 10 years into the future where she reunited with the Professor.

Jaden: *wiping his eyes* In the future, she helped him out while posing as her non-existent sister and when it was finally revealed, she didn't have much time left. So she was sent back to the past where she ended up dying.

Thundrr: *bawling* Just go to the next one now, I don't want to keep on crying.

Number 7

Jaden: Now, a while back, I began watching the popular anime known as Food Wars. During my time of watching it, I started moving into the shipping community and from then on, I became a supporter of the most popular ship in the fandom. Sorina, the ship of Soma Yukihira and Erina Nakiri.

Thundrr: You can see their relationship building as time goes by from Erina hating Soma at first to becoming rivals then becoming close friends and they do end up getting married in the end if I remember correctly.

Jaden: That has yet to be fully confirmed because from what I have heard, the ending of the manga was really bad.

Thundrr: Oh, then I might be mistaken.

Jaden: You know, I realised that I seem to like ships with the main character and a Tsundere. They are always so good.

Thundrr: Except for Pokeshipping.

Jaden: Yeah, except that.

Thundrr: Sorry Pokeshippers.

Number 6

Jaden: This one comes from my favourite game of all time and is the game in which my main in Smash is from. The ship of Shulk and Fiora from the game Xenoblade Chronicles.

Thundrr: Hell yeah.

Jaden: Just to let you know, there will be spoilers of the game so I suggest you go to the next spot if you don't want to hear it.

Thundrr: Please do.

Jaden: Anyway, I love this ship because the two have shown that they care for each other a lot. After witnessing Fiora's "death", Shulk is so depressed by this that he goes on a journey to save his home. Upon realising that she is alive, he goes off to find her and try to help her out. Knowing that she has a mechanical body and might not be able to live for long, the two fought by each other's sides in defeating Zanza.

Thundrr: In the end, they were able to save the world and Fiora was able to get her original body back in the Regeneration Chamber. Also, a lot of characters in the series has seen their relationship form. Reyn expects it to happen, Dunban knows it and is happy, Sharla sees the way they feel, even Melia is seeing it despite her feelings.

Jaden: Yeah, I feel bad for Melia about the situation but I still love her character.

Thundrr: Me too Jaden, me too.

Number 5

Jaden: Now I am a huge fan of the series Fairy Tail and this one is my personal favourite ships as some of you might know from reading the Top 10 Favourite Fairy Tail Ships. But to those who don't know, it is Nalu, the ship of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia.

Thundrr: Of course, the two started off as partners in the beginning and as time goes by, they became even closer. At some point there was a hint that Lucy liked him but it was only something else. Even after that, they were still able to bond and a lot of other characters see them as a couple. Heck, even Hiro Mashima agrees and makes artwork of them together.

Jaden: I really love this ship and it is one of the things that made me love Fairy Tail so much. I do hope that Mashima will put them together in the series because I really want that to happen.

Thundrr: As do most of the people in the community I would assume.

Number 4

Jaden: The ship in this one comes from one of my personal favourite anime of all time. It is called Edwin, the ship of Edward Elric and Winry Rockbell from Fullmetal Alchemist. The two have had a hard life with losing parents and having to deal with the fact that they may not be alive in the future with Ed and Al trying to fix their mistakes and Winry worried that they won't return.

Thundrr: But it's a great ship because both have shown to have a lot of bonding over time and they help each other out so much. Sure, they argue and bicker a lot but that usually happens in a relationship. This is one of those anime series where the characters develop a lot and it is shown especially when Ed comforted Winry when she had the gun.

Jaden: Not only that, they grow up to be mature adults and they eventually start a relationship after the series is over when he proposes in a sense. There is a photo shown with them together with kids. So it is assumed that they got married and had kids.

Thundrr: It's great that they are able to settle down and have a proper relationship now that everything is all done. In fact, check out Jaden's FMA story, "Settling Down" where Ed and Winry start their relationship together.

Jaden: Good plug.

Number 3

Jaden: Ok, I am kind of bending the rules here because I am putting in two ships. Not because I can't decide, but they both have a large affect on me.

Thundrr: Ok? What are they?

Jaden: Fianceeshipping, the ship of Jaden Yuki and Alexis Rhodes from Yugioh GX and Amourshipping, the ship of Ash and Serena from Pokemon. The reason being is because both of these ships got me into writing.

Thundrr: Yeah, that is true.

Jaden: It was hard to choose between them because they both are amazing ships. Alexis shows interest in Jaden at first and then becomes in love with him near the end only to not be able to confess. Sad when that happens, but the two have shown to have an extremely strong connection with each other. As for Amourshipping, Serena has shown to love him as time goes by and Ash has helped her in so many ways. This in turn leads to them bonding even more and then the kiss happens.

Thundrr: I do agree, both ships have had some down sides at some point, but they make it up with their strong relationships. Heck, both ships had the girl angry at the guy but they brought them back to their senses.

Jaden: The two have a special place in my heart and are fairly similar. Hence why I put them both on the same spot.

Thundrr: Got to give it to him.

Number 2

Jaden: This is probably one of the only ships that I like in which the two characters have a large age gap. (Not including Nalu) This is the ship known as Phaya or Narumayo, the ship of Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey from Ace Attorney. Now I am a huge fan of the Ace Attorney series and the relationship between the two have changed over time.

Thundrr: Yeah, starting off as friends who worked with each other and helped out only to bond and become even closer. They have shown that they cared for each other and Maya's younger cousin Pearl has seen the two as special someones. It's amazing how much support is shown for these two.

Jaden: Not only that, they have spent countless adventures with each other and have gone through a lot. Even when Phoenix got disbarred, the two were able to help each other back on their feet which resulted in Phoenix Wright being a lawyer again and Maya becoming master of the Kurain Village.

Thundrr: They have shown to interact with each other a lot and have such a healthy relationship despite having a few bickers from time to time. I hope this ship gets more love because this game is really good.

Number 1

Jaden: Now, a while back as of making this list, I got back into watching anime. There was one that sparked my interest called Chivalry of a Failed Knight or Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry. An anime about learning to become a magic knight where the main character is considered futile due to his lack of magic. In there, a ship that is so amazing was formed. It is the ship of the two main characters of the series, Ikki Kurogane and Stella Vermillion.

Thundrr: I find this interesting, I'd like to hear your reasoning as to why you love this ship so much.

Jaden: Allow me to explain, it is one of the few ships out there where the two have a healthy relationship. Sure, they started off on the wrong food with Ikki walking in on her while changing but the two got closer as time went by. While they were dating, they did have a bit of a fight which led them to realise that the two care deeply for each other and they kissed. Not only that, they both have shown that they both are what keeps them going. Also, there was a time where she did ask him to do it with her but he declined because he wants to do it at the right time. This shows how much of a caring person he is and how serious he is in their relationship. The two have shown time and time again that there is no one that could make them happier than each other.

Thundrr: Wow, that is so amazing.

Jaden: Yeah, Chivalry of a Failed Knight is very unique in its shipping as they don't mind showing it. Unlike some other anime like Highschool DxD with a lot of doubt, Fairy Tail with minor hints, Sword Art Online for confusion, Pokemon for the main character being dense or Infinite Stratos where the main character is acting dense because he doesn't want to die. They have the healthiest relationship out of all anime characters and even when something goes wrong, they talk it out and reconcile.

Thundrr: Man, that is such an amazing explanation. I should start watching that series now.
