Alex's POV
I wake up to find myself in a hospital bed with a bed next to mine holding Jesse, what I didn't expect was there to be a chair placed next to my bed with a sleeping Jaden sat on it. He had his head resting on my bed and his hand was placed gently in mine. "Alex..." Jaden mutters my name in his sleep, then starts crying and shaking. "It's a nightmare wake him up" Jesse says to me as Jaden whimpers. I place my hand gently in his hair and rub soothing circles on his back with my other hand. (It breaks my heart to see him like this. All broken and defenceless) "Jaden please wake up" I say with my hoarse voice. Jaden sits bolt upright and frantically looks around the room as if looking for danger 'you ok?' I ask him with telepathy with my eyes showing nothing but sympathy. He leaps into my arms and starts crying and whimpering again "I thought I lost you..."he says in a pained voice. I look at my brother with a broken expression. I gently stroke his hair and hum a soft melody to help him calm down. It work but I think it worked too well as I hear his panting slow into steady breaths. 'He's asleep Jess. I can't stand seeing him like this' I think to Jesse while crying. Just then Bliss walks in with two trays in her hands. "I thought I'd bring you some food" she says with a smile but then turns to a frown as she looks at Jaden "he had a nightmare around five minutes after she woke up" Jesse clarifies. Suddenly a spirit appears but it wasn't one of mine or Jesse's "hello my name is yubell when Jaden was fighting that creep did you notice anything out of the ordinary?" The duel spirit, yubell asks 'his eyes they were like yours, one green, one red/orange' I reply "this girl is very observant, yes I was lending him my power and protecting him" yubel replied I thank her then fall asleep curled up with Jaden.

When I wake up this time I feel someone stroking my hair, I absentmindedly lean into the touch, when I do I hear a familiar hyperactive laugh 'Jay...morning...good' I think to him tiredly. He laughs harder causing me to open my eyes and wake up slightly. I glare at him for disrupting my sleep "I'm sorry but your too cute when your tired" he says making me blush I try to sit up but a shooting pain in my stomach and arm stops me from doing so. I wince due to the pain and Jaden notices and gently pushes me back down onto the bed and looks down at me. (He's so close I could just lean up a little and our lips...WHAT IS MY MIND DOING TO ME) I thought to myself with a blush rising up my cheeks as I notice that I'm looking at his lips (so kissable) I think to myself or at least that's what I thought. But Jesse starts bursting with laughter "looks like the morphines kicking in" he said almost falling out of his bed from laughing too hard. I look up and see Jaden blushing, I also notice that Bliss has been filming the whole thing. What I do next shocks everyone including myself. I lean up slightly and softly press my lips against his 'I was right he is quite kissable' I thought to the others. This drives Jesse over the edge...of his bed...and onto the floor laughing. I then grab a fist full of Jaden's jacket and fall asleep.

Jaden's POV
It had been ten minutes since the incident and I'm still blushing, Jesse is still laughing on the floor and Bliss is still filming, but this time she's videoing Jesse laying of the floor and laughing. (That was nice...) I thought to myself. Then take my jacket off, because Alex still had a vice like grip on it, showing off my black tank top and leave the room to get some more food...
