Alex's POV
I stand up and glare at the person in front of me and get into a defensive position, in case he decides to hurt Jaden or Bliss. "Listen here, go back to where you came from, no one wants you here!" I hear Jaden shout from behind me 'Jay, don't anger him' I think to him "what are you gonna do about it punk" Kai spits back (I've had enough of this)I thought 'silent magician lvl8, I need your help' I accidentally think to Jaden and the white haired magician appears in front of us, her staff held in front of her in defence. Then she starts to fade, I guess I've used too much of my power today damn it. Kai takes a step towards me, but I stay where I was with my feet rooted to the ground. His position shifts slightly and I know he's about to run forwards 'Jaden go to the left' I commanded and he nods, as I expected Kai races forwards and I move to the right effectively dodging the attack, what I didn't expect was a fist flying towards my face. I ducked to avoid it and leap back so that I'm out of range of his attacks, he runs towards me again but this time I notice something metallic in his hand reflecting the sunlight. 'He's got a knife' I think to Jaden as I continue to dodge his attacks. Suddenly I feel pain in my lower arm and my moves become slower and more desperate to get away. 'Get Jesse and Bliss away from here, I will be fine for the time being' I think to Jaden 'but your hurt' he replies. Suddenly the attacks stop and I see Kai running the other way "Jaden look out!" I shout to him just as he's about to get punched, luckily he dodges it and I run towards him and skid to a stop then using my arm to block another attack aiming for his head. (I won't allow him to hurt my friends, I couldn't protect my brother but I can protect them) I thought to myself and turn my gaze to Jaden who had quickly ran over to Bliss and my brother and picked him up bridal style (wow he must be strong...not the time) I mentally scold myself. "Your so called friends have left you"Kai states and aims a punch towards my stomach which was unexpected. I fall to the floor and try to gain my breath. I back away pathetically as he comes closer but my back his a tree after a few minutes. He draws his fist back and I close my eyes preparing for the pain but nothing happens. I open my eyes to see Jaden in front of my holding Kai's wrist in a vice like grip. Something was different though, his eyes instead of being their usual brown one is red and the other is green, his eyes seem to glare at the boy in front of him.
Jaden's POV
I see him raise a fist and aim it at Alex, who is lying on the floor, and run over to them and stop him from attacking her. I can feel yubell helping me so I know I'll be able to win this. Normally I would duel him but I gave my duel disk to Bliss so that she could protect herself, that and this creep has taken this too far. I push him back and send a powerful kick towards his side, my reflexes being so fast that he has no time to react to being pushed before my kick hits him. "Leave" I say in a calm but powerful voice, the creep backs away turns around and runs, only to trip and fall over a tree root. I calm down and look at Alex her eyes were open and I can see that she was struggling with the pain so I crouch down next to her and pick her up bridal style. I must've accidentally touched her stomach because she whimpered in pain"Jaden..." she says weakly "shhh, your safe now" I reassure her. I then start making my way to where I left the others and instantly notice that Jesse is awake and sitting up."Jesse...your okay..."I hear Alex say tiredly. Luckily Bliss told me that she has a small first aid kit in her bag that should stop her arm from bleeding and getting infected. I get an anti bacterial cloth and gently clean the wound, then wrap it in a bandage. "Come on we need to get you and your sister to the nurse" I say to Jesse who nods and struggles to get up but was successful after getting help from Bliss. I look down to see that she has passed out 'today's gonna be a long day' I thought with a sigh.
