Alex's POV
My deck glows as the duel ends. I look at the cards and see stardust dragon in my deck. "Why do I have stardust dragon?" I ask yusei "what are you talking about, I have stardust dragon" yusei replies which shocks me. Suddenly Haou collapses "Haou!" I shout as I run over to him. Luckily Jaden caught him before he hit the floor. Yusei runs over too. "I'm going to destroy you" Haou says with an evil tone and his eyes turn to a lifeless grey. "I see, he's been fighting the darkness, that's why he couldn't use his powers earlier." I say before running over to him, "Haou you need to fight it" I whisper while pulling him into a hug. Suddenly vines wrap around me, I don't struggle or move. A blast of magic comes my way and i block it with my own magic, my eyes turn red as I deflect the attack. 'Ancient fairy dragon, can you try to contact him through the spirit world. They to get him to wake up' I think to my new dragon, who nods and disappears. I look back at Haou as the vines raise me off the ground, suddenly a vine goes for my neck "Haou you need to stop!" Jaden shouts. This causes Haou to send vines flying in his direction. I put up a barrier to protect him and yusei. 'Master, the boy is aware of what's going on and is trying to sort things out' I hear ancient fairy dragon say in my mind. I shift my gaze to Haou. 'You can fight this Haou. I know you can because... because I love you, I believe in you' I think to him. His eyes start turning back to normal, but flicker between yellow and grey. The vines start getting weaker and weaker until they disintegrate. This causes me to fall the few meters to the ground. I land with a grunt, but get up as quick as possible and run towards Haou. He still looks like he's fighting the darkness. 'Every day that I was away from you, you and Jaden were all I could think about. I love you both Haou, please fight this.' I think to the two toned brown haired boy in front of me. He looks up at me with his eyes their normal yellow. "Thank you" he mutters before passing out. "We need to get him back to duel academy. The nurses there will know what to do" Jaden says with a frown on his face. "I'm going too" yusei says, his voice showing that he wasn't going to take no for an answer. "Then lest go." I say before getting my phone out. I dial a number "yo kaiba could you get the blue eyes jet to come to these coordinates. 5557687. We're in Venice Italy and we need to get to duel academy asap" I say down the phone "I'm already on my way" his monotone voice says before hanging up "rude." I say. Yusei and Jaden laugh at this. A few minutes later the jet appears and kaiba opens the main hatch. "No time for introductions just get on the jet and get ready to go" I say to yusei and kaiba. Who nod in reply. Jaden being the muscle man he is picks Haou up and puts him in a seat nest to the window. I sit next to him and Jaden sits next to me, yusei sits next to kaiba up at the front of the jet. Haou leans his head on my shoulder as the jest starts up and takes off.

When we land on duel academy Jaden picks Haou up again and jumps out of the jet and somehow lands on his feet. He instantly takes off in the direction of the nurses office. I slowly get off the jet and wait for yusei. Yusei climbs out as fast as he can "where did they go?" He ask. "They went on ahead" I reply coldly. I'm to worried about Haou to think straight. "Your back" I hear a familiar voice say I turn around and see chazz, Jim, and Zane. "Yeah I'm back. Though as soon as I got back I somehow got into some trouble and now Haou is in the nurses office." I say with my eyes beginning to water. I look down to cover the fact that I'm seconds away from crying "Alex" I hear the familiar accent shout as I hear two airs of footsteps running in this direction. "Jesse" I shout as I turn, the tears finally beginning to flow. "We ran into Jaden he explained what happened. And you should know it's not your fault. Hi my names Jesse" Jesse says while holding his hand out to shake yuseis "yusei fudo" he replies and takes the hand. "What's the deal with the mark on your face?" Jesse asks "I'm from a place called the satellite, it was once part of new domino city but an explosion caused by one of the machines my father created split the city. Now the satellite is a place where the people from the city throw their trash, it's a satellites job to sort the trash. But we earn little to no money. I was sent to an orphanage when I was a baby because my dad died in the explosion" yusei replied sadly "well know your not alone, me and my sisters are orphans we know how you feel." Jesse smiled sympathetically. I begin walking in the direction of the nurses office I hear three pairs of footsteps following me. I guess it's Bliss, Jesse and yusei.

After the short walk to the nurses office I immediately look for Jaden and Haou "Alex..." I hear Yusei mumble I look at him as if to say 'go on'. "I need to get back to my friends. Someone needs to protect them from sector security" Yusei says with a small laugh. "Don't let Trudge push you around. And can you give these to the signers. There a rare type of crystal and I give them to all my friends. A purple one for Akiza, a blue one for Leo, a pink one for Luna, an orange one for Crow, a white one for jack. And finally a red one for you. Thank you for all you help Yusei." I say while giving him the crystals "take care Alex" Yusei shouts as he runs "Yusei wait" I shout I close my eyes and focus seconds later I open them to see yuseis duel runner in front of us. "You might need this to get home" I say with a small smile. I wave to him as he revs his runner up and takes off into a portal that the crimson dragon created.
