Alex's POV
I groan as I open my eyes. My back is aching and I feel things digging into my back. I look around and see scrap metal in large piles, the sky looks a dull grey. I close my eyes again trying to deal with the pain. "Hey, the crimson dragon is leading me somewhere. You guys go back to the hideout" I hear a male voice say, he seems to be close by as his voice was quite loud. I hear footsteps, he's here. The person walks over to me but I flinch away but yelp in pain as my back scrapes along a broken piece of metal. "It's ok, I'm not going to hurt you" the voice says reassuringly. I look at the person in front of me and close my eyes in pain. I feel arms going under my neck and legs, I weakly struggle as the young man picks me up. "Shh, I'm not going to hurt you. We need to get your back healed so it doesn't get infected" he says factually. The mark on the mans arm glows bright red and the pain in my back disappears. The man walks down the pile of scrap metal before gently placing me on the floor. "Why did the crimson dragon lead me to you?" The man asked himself "crimson dragon? My dad said something about it before I got sent here" I whisper to myself. "My names yusei" the man now known as yusei says. "Come on let's get you to my duel runner" yusei continues. I look at him curiously, he had black hair with few yellow streaks in them, his eyes where the same colour as mine, cobalt. He was wearing a black tank top with a red pattern in the middle, black jeans, a blue jacket, a pair of brown gloves and a pair of brown boots.

"You have a dragon card in your deck don't you?" I ask feeling power coming from the deck. "You must be talking about stardust dragon" he said taking the dragon out and showing me. I nod and look at the dragon in awe. My eyes glow red as I get stardust dragon to appear. I walk over to the dragon and pet him softly. "How did you do that?" Yusei asks in shock. "My name is Alex, I am known as the dragon master. I can see the spirits of duel monsters and I can also use my powers to make them appear. Somehow my powers are related to this crimson dragon you speak of. I can also use one of my friends powers, this allows me to create barriers and vines. I have the power of telepathy and I'm not exactly from this time." I explain briefly. "Not from this time?" He asks. "My dad sent me back in time, or at least his spirit did, me and my brother were orphans after he died, we were only around the age of 6. He told us to take the money we had saved as a family and go to a place called north academy." I say with a small smile. "Your an orphan, me too." He says sadly. 'You don't have to tell me. Let's get going' I think with a laugh while walking in the direction yusei came from. "Why don't we take my duel runner, it would be faster" yusei state, I look at him with a confused stare he points over to a red bike. "Fine but I'm driving, dark magician girl lead the way" I say summoning dark magician girls spirt before getting on the front of the duel runner. Yusei sighs and gets on behind me "wait" yusei says as I'm about to start the engine "safety first" he said while handing me a spare helmet to protect my head. "Thanks" I mutter under my breath while putting it on. I start the engine and we're off. I'm surprisingly good at riding motorbikes or duel runners as yusei called them. However I start losing focus, so I slowly break. "You need to take over now, I'm too dizzy" I say when we come to a stop. Yusei climbs of the back of the duel runner and I slide back letting him drive.

Around ten minutes later yusei stops the runner. I look up and see we're in front of a small run down building. "Where are we?" I ask curiously. "We are in the satellite it was once part of new domino city but there was an event that separated the two. I will explain more about that later though" he replies before walking up to the building entrance. He walks in "guys this is Alex, she somehow has a connection to crimson dragon, I'm just not sure what" he says while gesturing to me. 'Please keep my powers and the fact that I'm from the past a secret. It's not that I don't trust them, but I feel like something bad is going to happen' I think to yusei with a small frown. "Alex this is Jack, Akiza, Leo, Luna and crow. We all have a condition to the crimson dragon, so we may be bale to help." Yusei says. "Yus where's she gonna stay?" Crow says. "Since yusei was the one that brought her here, he should be the one to babysit her" jack says with a monotone voice. My eyes glow yellow in anger and black vines rise near me and point towards jack as a threat. I look at the vines shocked "Alex calm down" yusei says while pulling me into his chest. I begin calming down and the vines shrink until they disappear. "I'm sorry, I still need to control that, it's the first time I've ever done that. It's normally Haou that uses the vines" I say loud enough for everyone to hear. "Yusei seems to be able to calm her down quite quickly, so it would be best for her to stay with yusei" jack says with a small smile. Yusei nods, suddenly I feel arms around my waist and I begin to panic. I jump away and look at the person that was there "Leo?" I question. "I think it's time that we got going" yusei says with a look of concern aimed at me. Great now I'm gonna have to explain everything to him...
