Me and a very shocked Jaden climb onto my blue eyes white dragon "so how come you have more than one duel monster spirit?" Jaden asks with his usual smile back on his face. 'All my monster cards have duel spirits, but I can only have up to two out at a time.' I reply with my thoughts, I hear movement in a bush below us and get Blue to let us off. We have to climb down...more like slip and fall on your ass in Jaden's case, I laugh silently at this, he laughed too but got up and ran towards the bush. I ran after him not looking where I was going and tripped only to fall into a warm embrace...Jaden caught me. I look up at him in shock with heat running through my veins.

Jadens pov
(Is she blushing, no she can't be, I must be seeing things) I thought to myself looking down into her gorgeous cobalt eyes, which she closes when she sees me looking down at her "let's keep looking for your brother..." I suggest and she nods in a silent agreement "I wish you would talk again, you may not want to answer but, why don't you speak, I mean I know you can you spoke to your brother on your first day here?" I asks curiously after letting her stand up. 'It's a long story-
-and we have time." I cut her off with a reassuring smile.

Flashback Alex's POV
"Don't talk, you got that punk?" A tall boy by the name of Kai said "you know the punishment if you disobey" I looked at him with wide eyes remembering what he said a few days before (if I talk I get beaten... I can't call for help...and if I told Jesse it would juts get worse, he said he'd throw me off the cliff if I told anyone so that's outa the question. Plus Jesse's leaving for a new school soon, I don't want to worry him even more) I nod in understanding. He kicks me in the stomach and I accidentally let out a slight scream (oh no...) he looks at me with a wicked smirk and narrows his eyes and says "this is gonna be fun" Kai said with a menacing laugh causing me to flinch away. Little did I know when I screamed a certain teal haired boy walked out of one of the nearby buildings. Kai aims a punch to my face but I narrowly dodge it and back away. I hear the sound of thundering waves behind me more distinct than before and look behind me, only to realise that I'm at the edge of a cliff overlooking the vast ocean. (What am I going to do, I can't swim) "Alex!" I hear a familiar voice shout and turn back to face away from the cliff "Jesse, leave!" I shout back just before a group of people surrounds us "didn't I tell you not to speak, punk?" Kai said with hate in his voice before throwing punches and kicks towards me while three of his 'friends' got hold of my brother stopping him from doing anything. I curled up to try to protect my self and looked over at my brother and saw that he was struggling with tears running down his cheeks. I then took notice of another person walking up to my brother. What that person did shocked me the most. He drew his fist back and punched my brother with all his power, I looked into my brother eyes and they showed pain. "Well, looks like the punishment is gonna get worse than it already is" Kai said reaching his hand out towards me and harshly holding my neck. He then sits on my stomach where he just kicked effectively pinning me to the floor. I raise my eyes and look at Kai with defiance clear in my eyes, trying to keep my eyes open as he puts more pressure on my throat. I take one last look at my brother to see him with blood spilling from a gash on his forehead, his body limp as if he'd given up...
End of flashback ----
I realise that I sent Jaden that memory via telepathy as he has tears streaming down his face, luckily I didn't show it all to him. Or he would've seen Kai taking a knife to my throats and cutting my arms I cringe at the thought
