Alex's POV
Haou speaks and me, thinking he was asleep jumps in the air and falls out of the bed luckily Haou catches me "are you ok?" He asks with a frown. "I didn't mean to scare you" he finishes "no worries Haou" I say reassuringly "you really have gotten better since coming to this school Alex. I remember when you first transferred here, you wouldn't talk to anyone, not even your brother. Now your talking to everyone, I'm glad to see your making progress" the chancellor says with a happy smile. "Haou you need to rest, you used too much of your power to get us here" I tell the stubborn boy "I'm perfectly fine" he replies with a frown, my eyes glow yellow and I can see that he is tired but hiding it. "Haou" I scold "fine I will rest" he says while putting me back on my bed. He then lays next to me and places his arms around my waist and falls asleep. I run my hand through his two toned brown hair and sigh. "Are you ok?" Shepherd asks while looking at me in concern "we found out how Kai was able to open a portal, he was a vampire fiend from his world. He turned me into a vampire and tried to use me for my power. That's what he was after the whole time and I can't shake the feeling that he's gonna be back and more powerful than ever." I say causing chancellor shepherd to frown. "That means duel academy may be in danger. It is also why I decided to bring Haou with me, he beat me in a duel so I know he's a strong duellist." I finish while looking down at the sleeping king. "A wise choice, I will go and fill out the papers now and leave you in peace" he says while walking out the door. I take my phone out of my pocket and call yugi "hey yugi" I say as he picks up the phone "hey Alex what's up?" He asks "well we just got back and can you come to duel academy with kaiba I need to give you back the god cards but I currently have a slightly evil version of Jaden sleeping on me" I say with a laugh. "Ok we'll be there in an hour, we'll take the blue eyes jet see ya soon." He says before hanging up (well that was easy) I though before curling into Haou and drifting off into a dreamless sleep.

I wake up to see the now familiar piercing yellow eyes looking down at me. "Haou...morning...pizza" I mumble still half asleep. "I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time this has happened" Jaden says looking at me. "No one asked you to talk kuriboh" I mutter with a sigh, I feel Haou start to move and growl lowly causing him to stop and chuckle quietly. "Be a good pillow and stop moving" I say "hmm seems like the slifer slackers are awake, such a shame" I hear the annoying voice of dr crowler "put a cork in it crowler. No one cares what you say, think or do. So why don't you take your insults and shove them where it counts." I growl and glare at the teacher. "That's no way to talk to one of your teachers Alex" scolds a familiar cold voice. Kaiba. "Sorry seto, but he insulted the wrong person this time, not just me but my friends too. So you call me a slacker but wasn't it Jaden who beat you and he hadnt even been to school yet. And if I recall correctly I beat him in less than four turns. The only people who have beaten me or came close to beating me are Maximilian Pegasus and Haou. If you stop with the insults now you will get away with your pride intact, however if you don't, prepare for the humiliation of a lifetime" I say calmly with my eyes turning yellow. This causes him to flinch slightly "yeah cause a slacker like you can do anything to me" he says confidently "some people never learn" Haou states with a smirk. "Yeah well it's up to me to put him in his place" I say with a growl and my eyes glow a brighter yellow. "How about last lesson today me and you duel in front of the whole school" I say with a smirk (I've been hanging with Haou way too much) I think as Crowler says "deal" and walks out of the room. "Well as your duelling for all of your slifer friends I will lend you two cards rainbow dragon and a card called crystal corruption, it allows you to summon a monster from your graveyard to your opponents side of the field or by discarding one monster from your graveyard you can send rainbow dragon. If you use it with super polymerisation you'll be unbeatable." Jesse says while giving me his two cards, I take the cards and hug him in appreciation. "Lets do this" I say confidently.

"Prepare to lose slacker" Crowler says before activating his duel disk. "Duel" we both say at the same time.
"I draw and play crystal summoning, it allows me to summon up to five crystal beasts from my deck to my field, com on out amethyst cat, topaz tiger, emerald turtle, sapphire Pegasus and amber mammoth. I then normal summon cobalt eagle from my hand, it's on you"I say
"Insolent brat, I draw and play two face downs and summon gear golem in attack mode, your turn" Crowler says whilst having no idea what I'm planning.
"I draw, I play hand destruction, meaning we both have to send two cards to the graveyard."I say sending ruby carbuncle and crystal tree to the graveyard. Now I play trap door, meaning you have to choose one monster on your side of the field to the graveyard, bye gear golem. Now I play pot of greed, just the card I needed, I play crystal corruption. I can remove ruby in my grave from play to summon rainbow dragon to your field" I say shocking everyone "then I tribute all the crystal beasts on my field to summon diamond dragon, but that's not all, I play super polymerisation to fuse diamond dragon with the rainbow dragon on your side of the field to create, ultimate crystal dragon. I play a facedown and attack (5000)." I say causing everyone to gasp. "You activate my trap, mirror force sending the attack right back at you" crowler shouts
I wait until last minute to say "you've activated my trap magical cylinder, redirecting the attack right back at you and hitting your life points directly, you lose." I say before giving him a peace sign and saying "that's game, and that folks is how you school a teacher" I smirk and leave the battle field as crowler falls to his knees in defeat and shock.
