Alex's POV
I wake up to a feeling of safety and warmth, I was being carried I knew that much but by who is the question. I slightly open my eyes to see the seemingly familiar two toned brown hair but my eyes are too tired to focus, and I fall back to sleep.
Dream---
My eyes widen in terror as I look to the pharaoh to see if there is anything we can do to stop the current events, the thief king Akefia has burned down the village next to the castle. "What are we to do Atem?" I ask the pharaoh, one of my dearest friends. "Ready the horses." He orders with a voice full of authority and power, like a leader should "we must protect the remaining villagers" he finished. Atem was quite young for a king, barely passed the age of 17, yet he had dealt with many hardships in those years. "-------- you must stay behind to protect the castle" Atem said but when the name was said I couldn't hear it, couldn't hear the name that I was notified as. This confused me to no end, but so did this whole experience. "But pharaoh I can help in battle I have completed my sorcery training, I can help" I said dejectedly. The pharaoh put his hands on your shoulder and started shaking me causing my head to spin "-lex, Alex wake up"

"Alex wake up!" I hear someone shouting to me I open my eyes wide in fear and confusion, not sure as to what just happened. "You have to get ready for class, we're gonna be late" I hear the overly hyperactive brown haired teen shouting to me. I look around and finally notice Jaden and a short, light blue haired boy wearing glasses. Both boys dart out of the room so that I could change. I pull on my grey top, my jeans and my red jacket, then brushed my purple - red hair, pulled on my red converse, put my lunar choker on and my left hand I put a red glove and on my right I put a ring.

I walk out of the room after checking in the mirror that I look okay, walk down stairs to see Jesse, Jaden and the unnamed, blue haired boy. "Hi my names Syrus, it's nice to meet you" the blue haired boy explained. I nodded in response, refusing to talk again, yet still trying to be polite.

'What's going on?' I thought to Jaden using the powers of my ring, causing Jaden to jump a mile in the air. "Was that you Alex... well...um... Jesse has gone missing, he ran out of class and didn't come back. We're worried about him." He replied his usual happy smile replaced with a frown. I nodded and saw my duel spirit appear...the dark magician of chaos, it seems that Jaden saw it as well -/follow me master I will lead you to the one you seek\- I nodded again showing that I understand. We follow the chaos magician through the thick forest and we come to a cliff. One of my other duel spirits appeared, Jaden looked in awe as he saw one of the rare dragons, the blue eyes white dragon. -/you must climb on and I will take you down the cliff, use the power of the ring to make us real\- the blue eyes roared. I nodded and concentrate on feeling her shining metallic white scales under my hand.

I have no idea where this is going haha. I'm using a mix of Yu-Gi-Oh! And Yu-Gi-Oh! Gx. I can't believe people are actually reading the crap that I write 😭😭
