Jaden and I have been dating for a while now and today is going to be the first day. I meet his best friend Chase.

Jaden spoke a lot of good things about Chase and from what he said, he sounds really cool.

I really hope Chase likes me because I read a lot of books where the best friend hated their best friend's partner and it didn't end well.

We went to the mall to watch the new Wakanda forever movie since he said chase was a huge marvel fan like me.

We meet an hour before the movie starts so we could chat a little and get to know each other.

"So tell me are you team Iron Man or Captain America?" "team iron forever" I said and a huge smile spread on his face "oh my God I love her already"

Chase and I talk a lot and saw that we liked a lot of things and have the same opinions on the Marvel universe.

We talked about other things, of course, but really enjoyed talking about Marvel.

-Jaden's pov-

It looks like Y/n and Chase are getting along and I'm so happy about that.

It was so cute to see her argue with my best friend and tell him her opinions on marvel, I adore her love for marvel even though I'm not that HUGE of a fan like her.

Y/n is so smart and beautiful, she's so kind and adorable. I always feel like I'm dating the girl version of Peter Parker.

"Okay guys we should go so we can buy our food and get into our seats before it gets too crowded" I said.

The whole time Chase was talking and when I tried to talk Y/n wouldn't be listening to me which made me a little upset, but I tried, but I think much about it.

We got our popcorn and drinks and got into our seats. Y/n sat in between Chase and I which I didn't mind.

A little into the movie and placed my arms around Y/n and kissed her head, she smiled and was going to kiss me when chase tugged her hand and said "that's the part everyone's been talking about"

Y/n turned around and gave the screen her full attention.

When something happened that excited Y/n or chase they'd look at each other happily and have a whisper conversation.

"What are you two talking about?" I asked curious "don't worry about baby you won't understand" she said "oh..okay"

I started to get really annoyed because even after the movie finished these two wouldn't stop talking to each other and even if I tried joining their conversation, they would look at me a bit confused since I didn't really know what to talk about.

We had dinner and chase asked Y/n about her life since she doesn't go to the same school, we go to and even gave each other's social medias.

Through dinner they would joking flirt with each other which really made me jealous.

"You might be my new number one person I talk too" Y/n said "hold on I'm you're number one person right?" "Yup but that might change"

"Oh I knew it will, after we watch the movie I still have many things I have to share with you but unfortunately, I don't think we have time now"

"Yea me too and it's okay we should definitely meet up again" "yea we should!"

Chase left and we got into my car "hey babe can I use your phone charger I'm running low" "no" I said bluntly "oh..okay"

-Y/n's pov-

Jaden was quiet and kept his eyes on the road, not once did he turn to look at me or even held my hand or placed his hand on my leg like he always does.

We stopped at the red light and I couldn't stand this horrible silence.

"Are you okay?" I asked "what?" "Are you okay?" I asked again "yea I'm fine" he said clearly not.

"Your lying" I said "babe what's wrong" I went to hold his hand but he aggressively pushed my hand away. "Oww what was that for?" "Don't be dramatic"

I was really surprised by his words
Never was Jaden this mean to me

His aggressiveness actually hurt me even though it might seem like a small move my body had a very low pain tolerance so sometimes the smallest things have a bigger impact on me then you think.

I wrapped my arms around me and looked out the window trying to ignore the small pain on my wrist.

I saw that he was driving back to his house's direction so I spoke up and said "take me home, my home"

"Are you serious" "very" "I can't believe this" he rolled his eyes "what's wrong with you it's really annoying" I said.

"Your the last one to talk" he said "what did I do?" "You were ignoring me the whole day!" He said "you kept talking to chase and only him"

"I thought you liked that we were bonding" "I was but you two talked with each other the whole time, and I couldn't even join the conversation because whenever I tried to. I didn't know what to say. and your looks would make me feel like an idiot"

"You know it looks like you too have more in common than you and I do maybe you should date him," he said and I stayed quiet because if I opened my mouth, tears will start running down my cheeks.

Another thing that you should know is that I'm a sensitive person.

We reached my house and I got out without saying goodbye.

-Jaden's pov-

Y/n didn't even say goodbye to me and that's when I realize I might've been too harsh on her.

"Y/n!" I called and she turned around and I noticed her sad expression.

I got out of the car and went to hug her "I'm sorry" I said and I heard her softly crying making my heart break more.

"I'm sorry I overreacted it's my fault I got jealous" "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have ignored you"

I wiped her tears and kissed her soft lips "please don't be upset, I hate seeing you like this"

"Don't worry I'm not upset anymore" "great" "wanna hang out in my room?" "We don't how to do anything, we can just cuddle and talk" "I would love that"
