Today is my birthday and I finally reached 17!!

It's stupid to say but I'm the youngest person in my group and people like to joke around because I'm the shortest so they treat me like a baby.

I walked into school and saw my best friend "Happy birthday bitch!!" She picked me up.

"Amanda put me down!!" I said and she did "Aww don't cry baby girl" she laughed patting my head and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Ayo birthday girl has arrived!!" Nico my other friend came with my boyfriend next to him.

"Happy birthday beautiful," Jaden said hugging me "Hi handsome" I smiled and he kissed my lips.

"Okay no making out please, an" Nico said and Jaden glared at him "Shut up it's my birthday," I said "You guys have to do whatever I ask for the next 24 hours," I said and they all groaned.

"No no no you guys kept teasing me about being 16 long enough," I said. "Fine but nothing too crazy," Amanda said.

"Alright what's your first order Your Majesty" Jaden asked and I gave him my backpack "Carry this for me"

He smiled and took it "What else?" "No one is allowed to pat my head, call me Shorty or any other stupid nickname" "Okay now that's just crazy," Ian said and I glared at him.

"Okay okay Miss Girl no need for that murderous look," he said raising his hand in surrender.

The bell rang and we went to our class.

Mr. Hank. My history teacher gave us a homework sheet to do and I gave it to Amanda to fill it out instead of me.

At lunch, I sat next to my boyfriend and asked him if he could give me a back massage and he happily did.

When school was done I texted my parents that I would spend the day with Jaden meaning that I'd go back to his house.

We took Daelo from his school building since high school and elementary school were two different buildings but not that far from each other.

Daelo ran and hugged me giving me a big hug "Happy birthday Y/N!!"

"I made you a gift," he said giving me a heart origami with a message inside that said.

Happy birthday, Y/n. I love you because you are so sweet and kind to me ❤️

"Aww Daelo thank you so much I will cherish this forever," I said and he smiled "Good so you can show my nieces and nephews how good of a brother-in-law I was" he winked and I felt my cheeks get red.

Jaden looked at me with pink cheeks as well "We should go now" he said "You guys are so disgustingly cute" Daelo laughed.

When we reached home Jess and Jayla wished me a happy birthday, and I thanked them.

"I'll go take a nap wanna join me?" He asked and I nodded, we excused ourselves, and went upstairs to his room.

We cuddled up together and fell asleep only to be woken up later by his phone ringing.

I groaned and woke up first picking up his phone to see who it was.

"Wanna what do you want?" I snapped "Y/n?" "Yeah you woke me up," I said and the phone was snatched away from me "Yes Javon"

Jaden got up and kissed my head "I'll be back soon" he said and I paid back some I couldn't sleep so I woke up going downstairs.

Jaden was whispering with Jayla when I walked into the kitchen "Hey what's going on" I asked "Nothing was I just telling Jayla about my day" he said.

"Whispering?" "My head hurts so I told him to whisper instead," She said "Okay..."

I took cold water from the fridge and opened "Babe are we going out today?" I asked "Sorry I can't coach just texted us last minute for a meeting"

"Okay can we go out after that?" "No I don't think I can," he said and I frowned "So we're not going to do anything for my birthday?"

"I'm really sorry how about tomorrow?" "Tomorrow is not my birthday Jaden today is" "I'm sorry I-" "It's fine" I mumbled going upstairs.

I was really upset and gathered my stuff to leave "Y/n where are you going?" "Home," I said "Y/n don't be upset" "I'm not," I said blandly.

I went home and my mother asked how my day was and I told her that it was bad and went to my room.

An hour later, my brother came knocking on my door "What?" "Let's go," he said, "to where?" "I don't know but we'll go out me and you to enjoy your birthday," he said.

"I'll be in the car don't keep me waiting" My older brother is usually busy most of the time with med school so we don't really get to see each other much.

I was excited to hang out with him.

I got in the car and he threw me his phone "Pick some music" I happily did and Y/b/n took me to the movies and then shopping.

"Thank you," I said "I really appreciate you taking me out" "of course I wouldn't let my little sister stay in her room all day on her birthday"

We drove past the house, and I asked him if we were going anywhere else, and he told me to wait and see.

We went to the park and I was confused "Y/b/n what are we doing here?" "Just follow me," he said and closed my eyes.

After walking forward, it seemed like forever he pulled his hands away from my eyes.

"surprise!!"

"Oh my god!" I gasped and my boyfriend came and hugged me "Happy birthday!"

"Wait did you do all this?" I asked surprised, and he nodded "Do you like it?" "Jaden I love it!" I said hugging him again.

"Guys this is amazing!" I said to everyone here "Thank you so much"

Jaden was so happy that I loved the party and he couldn't wait for the end to give me my gift.

"Okay baby close your eyes," he said bringing a box towards me.

I opened the box and put my hands in it immediately feeling a ball of fur moving away and screamed and surprise.

I moved away and looked at my friends "Is that a rat?" Everyone started laughing and suddenly a meow was heard.

"No," I said and Jaden smiled widely "Go look," he said and I looked into the box to see a baby kitten

"Oh my god" I gasped picking up the baby kitten "Aw Jaden" my eyes teared up "Is that mine" "Yes it's yours"

I hugged him a tear falling down my cheek "Wait Mom and Dad are you okay is this?" I looked at my parents who nodded.

I know it's stupid but I started crying because I've been asking for a cat ever since I was 10 and now I finally got it.

"No Y/n/n don't cry" my best friend came to hug me. "Im sorry I won't cry," I said wiping my cheek.

The party finally started and it was a pretty chill one.

I was surprised when I heard that Daelo was in charge of the games at this party and let's just say it turned out great.

Daelo really had a big imagination and created so many fun activities for us to do.

Once dinner came around my father, brother, and DJ set up the white sheet for the movie-projecting screen and we all sat down to see my favorite movie.

I cuddled with Jaden and the cat rested on my lap.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head making me smile.

"That's cute," Jaden said and I looked up to see him staring down at my phone "I should thank you for that" I smiled.

I sat up and cupped his cheeks kissing him "I love you" I whispered pulling away "Thank you so so much for this day, you really made me happy"

"You the best boyfriend ever" Jaden blushed a little which was cute and pecked my lips "Of course I would do anything to make my girl happy"

The kitten meowed getting our attention "Now what are you going to call this little cutie" Jaden asked "You didn't tell me is it a he or a she?"

"It's a he," he said "Mhmm I think I'm going to call him (your choice)"

"That's a nice name," he said "Maybe now he and Biscuits can have a play date because it" "Babe Biscuits is a big cat. Do you think she'll like playing with my little kitten?"

"of course biscuits love everyone!" He said and I giggled "Okay I'll bring her over tomorrow," I said "No how about you come back home with me and spend the night"

"You can wear my hoodie and I'll cuddle you all night," he said and I smiled "That sounds wonderful. I'll ask my parents later"

I cuddled back into Jaden and rested my head on his chest looking back to the movie.

My eyes scanned the people around me, and how happy they looked made me feel so much happier.

This honestly is the best birthday ever!!
