Jungkook looks around the warehouse where all his clothes were being manufactured and shipped, people bustling about trying to maintain some type of order in all the chaos.
The younger couldn't help but smile when he saw his designs going into packages and being sent to delivery.
It's been almost two years since he arrived in New York and things were running as smoothly as ever.
He clothes have become a huge trend in the industry in the states and in Korea, Japan, and some parts of China.
Stars of all kinds were requesting him for their red carpet looks and for their music videos and special appearances.
He tried not to let everything go to his head, he did his best to keep designing clothes that he liked and not what he thought they would like.
"Jungkook-ssi, you didn't say you'd be here today."
Jungkook smiles at his production manager. "I just wanted to come and see how things were going. We have a big launch happening tomorrow."
"Yes, please follow me." Jaemin says walking ahead of Jungkook. "We have a predicted number of sales but looking at the activity on the website from past launches and even the mini launch we might sale out in the first hour, hour and a half."
"That's what we need, Jaemin." The brunette smiles. "As long as we make more than half the budget used then we'll be alright."
"That's just it, we're looking at three times the budget here." The manager says. "It'd be our biggest launch yet."
"Cool." Jungkook says, he's good at hiding his nerves by now. "Don't forget to ship PR list items before noon tomorrow. The launch is at three eastern time."
"Of course." Jaemin nods writing something down on his clipboard.
"You seem to have everything under control on your part. Keep working hard, you're doing great." Jungkook smiles patting Jaemin's should.
"Thank you. I will." The manager says bowing respectfully.
Jungkook nods before walking to another part of the warehouse.
This was everything he's ever wanted, he was amongst the most popular designers in the states and in Asia, it was a dream come true.
"Mr. Jeon, how does everything look?" One of the workers asks when they notice him watching.
Jungkook smiles. "Looks good. Keep working hard."
He smiles once more before heading out of the warehouse.
His phone rings in his pocket and he answers it without really paying attention to who it is.
"Yes?" He says as he unlocks his car.
"Hey, Kooks. You busy?"
"Jin-hyung? What time is there, did you wake up early?" The younger asks worriedly.
"I always wake up early, Jungkook." The older chuckles. "I wanted to call and wish you luck on your launch tomorrow."
"Aw, thank you, hyung. You know Taehyung is on the PR list so you get a special package." The younger says pressing a button to start his car.
"I know. I always love seeing what you've created." Jin says genuinely. "I'll send pictures when it arrives."
"Okay, be honest about if you like it or not. I need honest feedback from people I can trust." Jungkook says as he pulls out of his parking space.
"Of course." The older says. "How are things otherwise?"
"Good. I got another red carpet request, it's for the Oscars this time." The younger says. "My manager thinks I should decline though."
"Why? That's an extraordinary opportunity!" Jin exclaims excitedly.
"I don't know, it'd be my third red carpet this year. I don't want to become anyone's yes-man." Jungkook says, sitting back and preparing himself for the five o'clock traffic he's about to get stuck in.
"Well as long as your okay with not doing it. But it'd be crazy to hear a celebrity at the Oscars saying 'Yes, I'm wearing Victory by Jeon.'" Jin says in a fake hassadiddy voice.
Jungkook laughs at the older. "There's always next year, hyung. I don't want to wear myself out just yet."
"Of course. You sound happy, Jungkook." The older says, Jungkook can practically hear his fond smile.
"I am." The younger sighs. "How's Taehyung? I haven't heard anything since a few weeks ago."
"He's okay I guess. He doesn't talk to me much anymore, not unless he has to." Jin says, sadness settling in his voice.
"He's still with 2-3 isn't he?" Jungkook asks.
"Yes, he keeps threatening to terminate his contract but I don't think he will." The older says with a bit of uncertainty.
"Is he drinking a lot?" The younger asks, he doesn't know why he does this to himself.
He can be doing great, feeling great, but as soon as he heard how bad Taehyung is doing because of him it ruins his entire day, but he just can't stop asking.
He wants to know, needs to know.
"Sometimes. He's obsessed with the way he looks so he tries not to drink his calories which usually results in him binge drinking but at least it's not all the time, right?" Jin asks as if he needs someone else's reassurance.
"Yeah." Jungkook says, his voice heavy with hurt for his ex. "Just um, please take care of him. Even if he pushes you away?"
"You now I will." The older says. "You should try to move on, Jungkook. I know you probably don't want to hear it but, you shouldn't ask about him all the time."
"I'm trying, hyung. I just want to make sure he's alright." The younger says.
"But you know he isn't, so why keep asking?" Jin asks, he doesn't mean to hurt the younger but he does.
"You're right, sorry for wanting to make sure he's still alive. I'll stop asking." Jungkook says, his hurt being mistaken anger.
"I didn't mean to upset~"
"Thanks for calling and wishing me luck on my launch. It's gonna a big one." The younger continues. "I'll let you get back to whatever you were doing."
"Jungkook~"
"Love you, hyung. Talk to you soon." Jungkook says before taking the phone from his ear and ending the call.
He didn't want to be upset but he also didn't want to hear Jin telling him how he should move on.
Jin doesn't know what it feels like to lose something that meant so much to him and that's why it's easier to tell him to move on.
Even after a two years, it was hard to move on.

Jin sighs as he stands in front of Taehyung's door, he hadn't been to the penthouse in months and he was afraid of what he was going to find.
He presses the buzzer after a few hesitant moments.
There's no answer the first time to he presses it again.
"Taehyung?" He calls through the door. "It's Jin."
Another second or two goes by before the front door is pulled open, revealing Taehyung dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie from Jungkook's latest launch.
"What are you doing here?" The, now, bluenette asks leaning against the open door.
"Checking on you." Jin says. "I know you told me not to come around but I don't give a damn. Are you alright?"
"Yeah." Taehyung shrugs. "You should've called, there's nothing to be worried about."
"Are you sure?" The older asks glancing past Taehyung into the penthouse.
The younger shifts uncomfortably as if he doesn't want Jin to see inside the apartment.
"I'm sure. You should go." He says looking down. "I'll see you tomorrow."
"Okay. See you tomorrow then." Jin says despite his suspicion.
"Alright." Taehyung says, waiting for him to go before shutting the door.
Taehyung sighs to himself as he leans against the door.
"Who was that?"
"You need to leave."
The dark haired male pouts softly from where he sits shirtless on Taehyung's couch.
"Don't be mean, Tae." He says, a smile taking over his features.
"You've already been here too long, Seungho." Taehyung says crossing his arms. "Please go."
Seungho's head tilts in confusion. "Did I do something wrong?"
"No, I just think you've been here long enough." The bluenette shrugs, running a hand through his disheveled hair.
"Ah, I see." The older chuckles as he stands, reaching for his shirt. "You're already tired of playing with me, kitten?"
Taehyung cringes inwardly at the pet name. "Well, now you know I bore easily."
Seungho hums, tugging his shirt over his head. "It's been fun, Taehyung. Maybe we'll have another shoot together one day."
"Let's hope not." The younger says earning a laugh from Seungho.
"You're so mean, Tae." He smiles, shrugging his jacket on as he walks to the door. "See you around then."
"Sure." Taehyung says opening the door, not moving away as the older places a kiss on his cheek.
"Bye." Seungho says once more before walking out.
"Bye." The bluenette says closing the door behind him.
Taehyung sighs heavily as he walks over and sits down on the couch.
He felt like such a fucking idiot every time he did something like this but he didn't care anymore.
He didn't care about anything anymore.
