Jungkook doesn't come to until later that night, more into the morning, after Taehyung and Jin have treated all his wounds as best they could with a small first aid kit.

The younger groans getting Taehyung's attention from where he sat on the windowsill.

"Jungkook?" He asks standing and walking over to him.

Jungkook hears him but can't bring himself to answer right away as the pain from his head starts to take in.

"Kook?" Taehyung asks in a tone that Jungkook has grown used to hearing in the past few weeks.

Jungkook's eyelids are heavy as he opens them to meet Taehyung's worried eyes.

Taehyung doesn't say anything as he kneels and brushes the hair from Jungkook's tired eyes.

"Tae?" Jungkook's brows knit together in confusion.

"Are you okay?" Taehyung asks taking Jungkook's hand in his.

"My head hurts..." The younger trails off.

"Jungkook?" The silverette tries again as Jungkook's eyes fall shut again. "Hyung!Jin-hyung!"

Jin rushes into the room holding the coffee he went to get for Taehyung. "What's wrong? What happened?"

"His head is hurting, what if something's wrong? We need to take him to the hospital." Taehyung says in a calm voice that is somehow still dripping in panic.

Jin furrows his eyebrows before setting the coffee down and going over to Jungkook.

"Jungkook-ah?" He says leaning over him and pressing the back of his hand to Jungkook's forehead.

Jungkook gives a small huff as his features contort in pain.

"What hurts, Jungkook?" Jin asks in a calming voice.

"H-Hyung?" Jungkook says instead of answering.

"Hm?" The older hums glancing over at Taehyung who makes his way over and sits down on the edge of the bed.

Jungkook's eyes open and he looks around the room before a look of panic replacing the pained look he once had.

"Oh no." The younger breathes out before trying to push himself up into a sitting position.

"Woah woah woah." Jin says pushing him down gently. "Take it easy, Kook."

"Where am I~" Jungkook winces bringing his hand to his head.

"You're at Taehyung's." Jin says, him and Taehyung sharing the same expression.

"Why?" The younger asks sitting up even though Jin told him not to.

"You should lie down Jungkook, you aren't well." Taehyung says as the younger throws his feet over the edge of the bed.

"Where's my phone?" Jungkook asks looking around the bed and checking his pockets.

    "Jungkook~"

"You shouldn't have bought me here." The younger says looking up at the other two. "You have to take me home."

Taehyung's expression changes to one of misunderstanding as he stands. "Take you home?" He repeats.

"Yes. This isn't going to make things any better, do you realize that? He's gonna kill me because of you." The younger says standing and almost loosing his balance.

"Jungkook, you're speaking nonsense." Jin says steadying the younger by his arm.

"Please hyung, you don't understand. Neither of you understand, that's why you should've just minded your own business."  Jungkook says as tears prick his eyes.

"Jungkook." Taehyung says. "You can't possibly be serious."

"I am." The younger says. "I have to go back."

Taehyung stares at Jungkook for a moment trying to find the right words to say.

"Jungkook." Jin says in a soft voice. "You're not thinking clearly. Maybe you should lie down for a bit more and if you still want to go back I'll take you."

"Hyung." Taehyung says, his voice cracking as he looks over at Jin.

Jungkook sighs looking down at his shaking hands. "I'm thinking clearly. And I want to go back now. You can't make me stay here."

"Alright. I'll take you." Jin sighs with a sad expression on his face.

"Seokjin." Taehyung says, his voice small and laced with hurt, why was he agreeing to this?

Jungkook nods sitting down and grabbing his shoes from where they were on the side of the bed.

Jin looks at Taehyung who just shakes his head before turning and leaving the room in defeat.

"Jungkook." Jin says once Taehyung is gone.

Jungkook hums tying his shoes before standing.

"Before we go could you have a word with Taehyung?" He asks.

"There's no time. I'll talk to him later." Jungkook says fidgeting nervously with his hands.

Jin sighs nodding his head. "Alright."

Jungkook lets Jin lead him downstairs and out of the front door, a pang shooting through his chest when he sees Taehyung sitting by the window in the living room with a cigarette between his fingers as the night air blows the smoke around.

Taehyung doesn't spare them a glance or even acknowledge their presence as they leave the penthouse.

He pushes the feeling back as he focuses on how he was going to explain his absence to Yugyeom.

"I'm not trying to tell you how to live your life, or even tell you what's best for you." Jin starts as he presses the button for the elevator. "But maybe what I'm about to say will change your mind."

Jungkook sighs chewing his bottom lip anxiously as they step into the elevator.

"What your boyfriend, what Yugyeom is doing to you, it isn't right Jungkook. And I know your judgment is clouded by his threats and I understand that you are only trying to help yourself by going back." Jin says. "But it will help you a lot more in the future if you build up enough courage to leave him. It's hurting you Jungkook, and it's hurting Taehyung a lot too."

Jungkook looks up at the mention of Taehyung.

"It's been a long time since I've seen him care so deeply about anyone, and I can tell that what you're going through is breaking his heart and tearing him to pieces. I can tell you mean a lot to him."

They step off the elevator into the parking garage.

"It's not as easy as you're making it seem, hyung. Y-You just don't understand. Why would I make things harder on myself by trying to leave? If I tell him I want to leave him there's no telling what he'll do. Don't you get that?" Jungkook asks swallowing his tears.

"I understand the way your mindset is right now Jungkook, but you're still not seeing the bigger picture~"

"What bigger picture!?" Jungkook exclaims as they get to Jin's car. "If I don't go back now he'll find me and kill me! What other picture do I need to see!?"

"That's just it, Jungkook!" Jin says feeling bad for yelling. "He is going to kill you! And it's not because you didn't go back it's because you did! He's not going to change Jungkook! He beat you until you were unconscious tonight and yet here you are trying to convince me that it's better to go back rather than to run away!"

Jungkook's head throbs as tears form in his eyes.

"You're making the biggest mistake of your life by going back right now, Jungkook." Jin says trying to calm his voice. "You have friends who are more than willing to help keep you safe and to make sure nothing happens to you but yet you still want to run back to him. Why!?"

"Because I'm scared hyung!" Jungkook yells in defeat. "And you wouldn't understand that because you don't know what it's like! You think he wouldn't kill me because you don't know him, but I do! And the person I know wouldn't hesitate! That's why I'm going back! Not because I want to hurt you or Taehyung! You think it doesn't hurt me to know that I'm hurting him? Well it does! But what the hell am I supposed to do when all I can constantly worry about is whether or not my boyfriend is going to kill me when I get home!?"

Jungkook says crying, trying to stop his tears.

"We can help you, Kook. There are people out there that will help you." Jin says bringing Jungkook into a hug.

"I'm just so scared, hyung." He says sniffling.

"Please stay Jungkook, please." The older asks desperately. "I promise we won't let anything happen."

Jungkook sighs. "What if he finds me."

"He won't." Jin promises.

"Taehyung's mad at me." The younger says still hugging his hyung.

Jin chuckles softly. "He's not mad, just extremely worried."

Jungkook pulls away losing his balance a little as he steps back.

"I think you might have a concussion." Jin says smoothing Jungkook's hair down.

"I'll stay but, tomorrow I have to go back ~"

"Jungkook." The older says in disbelief.

"I have to end things the right way." Jungkook says. "I'll meet him outside so he can't do anything. But I have some things I have to say."

Jin sighs nodding. "Okay. Let's get back up quickly."

Jungkook nods following Jin back to the elevator to go back up to the penthouse floor.
