"Go home, Jungkook."
"No."
"I'm fine."
"No."
Taehyung sighs pulling his knees to his chest and looking over at Jungkook who sits on the couch opposite of him.
Jungkook's eyes are still puffy from crying and his hands still shake violently from nearly having a panic attack.
"Jungkook." Taehyung tries again.
"I'm not leaving, Taehyung." The brunette says sniffling.
Taehyung sighs before standing and leaving the living.
Jungkook wants to follow him, his nerves are still on edge and he doesn't want Taehyung out of his sight.
He starts to get up and follow him but he returns before he does, holding a box of tissues.
"Here." He says, Jungkook takes them without looking up.
Jungkook was slightly hoping that Taehyung would have been drunk tonight, and that was the reason he talked himself up to that ledge.
But he wasn't.
He was completely sober and still willing to end his life, it wasn't the alcohol in his system it was just him and his own suicidal thoughts.
If he had been drunk would he have even called Jin first? Or would he just jump without telling anyone why?
"Taehyung?" Jungkook starts looking down at the tissue box.
Taehyung hums sitting back down and hugging his knees.
"If I hadn't stopped you. Would have really done it?" The younger asks trying to blink his tears away.
Taehyung doesn't know what to say. "I wasn't thinking straight, Kook. I'm fine now. I've come to my senses."
"Whatever it was, whatever you were thinking about." Jungkook sniffles. "Whenever you start thinking it just call me. Because I'll come. You don't have to go through it alone."
Taehyung nods silently. He feels two inches tall right now and he wanted nothing more than to be alone.
"Depression isn't a battle you should have to fight alone." Jungkook says, his words touching Taehyung deeply.
He's always delt with his depression in his own way, which wasn't healthy at all.
It usually consisted of him hurting himself, or the people around him.
He kept all his emotions bottled up and he forced himself not to cry, not to even feel the despair that was trying to swallow him whole.
He usually drunk away his suicidal thoughts, to point where even if he ever did try to commit suicide he'd probably black out.
If he had got drunk tonight rather than call Seokjin none of this would have happened.
It was incredible though, the feeling of absolute control Taehyung had felt when he stood so close to the edge, everything depended on him in that moment.
The pain he felt was only still there because he was letting it be, if he wanted he could have ended then.
And he was going to, and he wasn't afraid.
He gave Seokjin five minutes, he knew he couldn't make in there in less than ten, even if he sped all the way there.
Even after the five minutes he counted to sixty three more times.
The fourth time was his final.
60-
Those would have been the last sixty seconds of his life and he felt like he could do anything.
He was untouchable, unstoppable.
After years of simply just living he was finally alive, he was breathing for himself again for the first time in years.
15-
It felt right, he felt like he was doing the right thing.
No more diets, no more tabloids, no more media, no more anything.
He could finally rest.

"No! Taehyung!"
He started crying then.
But not because he was hurting, he was just glad someone stopped him.
He was glad someone was there to bring him back to his senses.
Now he stares at his savior and tries to figure out exactly why he saved him.
Jungkook's phone rings for the umpteenth time that night, Yugyeom's calling.
"Why aren't you answering?" Taehyung asks when Jungkook let's the call ring out.
"It's Yugyeom." He says watching as the other leaves another message.
"You should go Jungkook. It's still early." Taehyung says.
"I'm not leaving you alone. I'll leave when Jin-hyung gets here. I don't care if it's a week from now." Jungkook says crossing his arms stubbornly.
"I already told you that I've come to my senses." Taehyung says.
Jungkook shrugs. "I'm not leaving."
The sun had fully set now and it had been at least two hours since Jungkook talked Taehyung down.
Jungkook had texted Jin who replied saying he'd be there by eight at the latest.
Jungkook didn't mind waiting, he'd wait forever if it meant a persons life.
True to his word though Jin shows up before eight.
He engulfs Taehyung in a bone crushing hug that has him groaning and pushing him away.
"Thank goodness you're okay, I was so worried. I thought, oh god." Jin says out of breath.
"I'm sorry, hyung." Taehyung says, hugging the older male back.
"Don't ever scare me like that again, Taehyung. You should have called before it got bad. I always tell you to, don't I?" The older asks pulling away from the hug to look Taehyung over.
"I wasn't thinking." The silverette says as more guilt fills him up.
"Thank you so much, Jungkook." Jin says turning and giving the younger a hug.
Jungkook hugs him back briefly before pulling away.
"Go home, Jungkook." Taehyung says for the thousandth time.
Jungkook nods grabbing his phone, before he goes he hugs Taehyung, but what shocks all three of them the most is that Taehyung hugs back.
"Remember what I said." Jungkook says still hugging the slightly taller male.
Taehyung hums before apologizing again.
Jungkook leaves the apartment and he finally feels the stress of the night weighing on him so heavily that he could barely stand up straight.
His phone continues to ring but he ignores it all the way back to his apartment.
When he gets there the door is unlocked and he walks in.
"Jungkook." Yugyeom says standing in the living with an irritated/worried expression. "Where the hell did you go?"
"I had to..." Jungkook trails off. "Taehyung needed me."
Yugyeom raises his eyebrows. "What the fuck do you mean?"
"Yugyeom, please." Jungkook says in a low voice, his voice shot from screaming earlier.
"Have you been crying?" Yugyeom asks taking in Jungkook's appearance for the first time.
"Stop yelling." Jungkook says, even though he wasn't really. "Just, I'm tired. I need to lie down, okay? I'm sorry. We can talk more tomorrow but right now I just~"
"Tomorrow? You want to explain to me why you, my boyfriend, ran off to another guy and ignored my text and calls, tommorow? No. You better have a hell of a good explanation, and I want it now." Yugyeom says.
"Do I look like I'm in the mood to be arguing with you right now?" Jungkook asks, his nerves were still on edge and he still felt like crying.
"I don't care. What the hell do you and this guy have going on?"
Jungkook gave up on trying to hold back his tears as he started to head to his room only for Yugyeom to grab him by the wrist.
"Answer me." He demands looking down at him.
"He's my boss." Jungkook sniffles as more tears fall, everything was still fresh and this wasn't helping.
"What did he want, why did he call you? You're just a stylist, what could he have possibly wanted in the middle of the day?"
"You think I'm cheating on you?" The younger asks.
"If you are, don't let me find out, or you won't be happy." Yugyeom says shoving Jungkook away and turning to grab his keys.
"I'd never do that." Jungkook says through the thick emotion in his voice.
Yugyeom ignores him as he snatches the front door open and slams as hard as he can on the way out.
Jungkook didn't go after him, he just went to bed.
He had work in the morning and he needed to get some rest.
Yugyeom would get over whatever it was he was upset about.
