Jungkook sits in the expensive looking waiting room bouncing his knee anxiously.

To say he was nervous was an understatement. He was absolutely terrified.

Not only was he an amateur but he had close to nothing on his résumé.

It was hard as hell to make it in the designing industry but Jungkook has always loved clothes and fashion and all he ever wanted one day was to one day design his own clothes for people to wear.

But becoming Kim Taehyung's personal stylist was only a step in that direction. Well hopefully becoming his personal stylist.

Jungkook has admired Taehyung's work since he's wanted to be a designer. Whenever he would design he would always picture the model posing for the camera in the outfit. Is that weird?

Now nothing separated the two but a shiney glass door and twenty-three other stylists, most of them being women.

Whenever the door opens everyone's heads turn nervously awaiting their personal interview.

Jungkook has practiced what he was going to say for weeks now but the realization of the situation makes all that fly out the window when his name is called.

"Oh. I'm Jeon Jungkook." He says standing clutching his papers between his fingers.

He follows the male through the glass door and when it shuts the other speaks.

"I'm Kim Seokjin. Taehyung's assistant." The dark haired male says holding out a hand. "And you're Jeon Jungkook?"

"Jungkook. Yes." Jungkook says trying not to go completely speechless when he shakes his hand.

"Mr. Kim is in the room directly down the hall, you can't miss it. Try not to be nervous. He hates nerves." Seokjin says as if it's the thousandth time he's said it.

"Oh. Yeah." Jungkook says.

"You do know more than two words don't you?" Seokjin asks eyeing the brunette.

"Yeah." Jungkook says nodding.

"Good luck." Seokjin says looking down at a clipboard.

Jungkook takes this as his sign to go so he does.

He takes a deep breath before turning the door knob and entering the office.

Jungkook almost gasps in shock when he sets eyes on the male figure in front of him.

If anyone had to physically define beauty Kim Taehyung could definitely do it.

"Come in." The silver haired man says but it takes Jungkook a moment to actually enter the office. "Have a seat."

Jungkook sits down across from Taehyung who stands behind a desk.

Taehyung's standing makes Jungkook even more intimidated and the silver haired male knows it.

"Well?" Taehyung says.

"Huh?" Jungkook asks looking up at him.

"Are you going to talk?" Taehyung asks.

"Oh. Yeah." Jungkook says. "I'm Jeon Jungkook. I'm a designer from Busan-"

"A designer?" Taehyung asks circling the desk.

"Um. Yes-"

"From Busan?" Taehyung cuts him off again as he leans against the front of his desk.

"Yes sir." Jungkook says.

"What does a designer from Busan want with me?" Taehyung asks.

"Well. Designing is my passion but I just adore fashion in general. So I thought that this would be a great opportunity to not only work with fashion but to also further my knowledge of what the industry is like." Jungkook says.

"So this is all for personal gain?" Taehyung asks.

"No! No. That's not what I meant-" Jungkook starts.

"Calm down Mr. Jeon." Taehyung chuckles his deep voice blessing Jungkook's ears.

"I'm sorry. I just. I didn't mean for it to come out like that." Jungkook says.

"Why should I hire you? I did have to fire my old stylist and I don't want to have to repeat what is history. You know how important this is don't you? This is my career and you'll be playing a substantial role in it." Taehyung says.

"Well. I don't have much on my résumé-

"I don't care about that." Taehyung says. "Why should I trust you with my career?"

"Because. I understand how important this is and trust me it's important to me too. I've looked up to you ever since I wanted to work in the fashion industry and I couldn't imagine letting you down." Jungkook says.

"Hm." Taehyung says as if Jungkook hadn't just spoke. "Thanks for your time Mr-. Jeon? Was it?"

"Yeah. Jungkook." Jungkook says.

"You can go." Taehyung says circling back around the desk and finally sitting down.

"Oh. Thank you Mr. Kim." Jungkook says standing and bowing.

"Close the door when you're gone." Taehyung says running his finger down a paper with many names on it.

Jungkook's heart deflates when he watches the other scratch a harsh line through his name with his pin.

Jungkook turns to leave biting back the frown that threatens to capture his expression.

He forces himself to look neutral as he leaves the building the interviews were being held in.

He sighed as he made his way to the bus stop to return home to his sad one bedroom apartment.

When Jungkook first came to the building he'd thought he had everything down and that there would be no way he couldn't get the job. But now he feels as if he blew the entire thing.

--

"What about her? She was nice."

"We're not looking for nice Seokjin."

Jin sighs for the hundredth time as he goes down the list again.

"Well you've scratch through more than half the names what are you hoping for here?" Jin asks.

"Someone with talent. And they have to look good." Taehyung says.

"Why do they have to look good?" The older asks. "All they'll be doing is ironing out your suits and helping you tie your tie."

"Do as I say Seokjin." The silverette says but his tone isn't threatening at all as he stares out the window into the streets of Seoul. "There was this one guy."

"Okay?"

"I forget his name." Taehyung says. "He said he was from Busan."

"That could be any of these people." Jin complains.

"Well I want him. Find him." The silverette demands.

"Well can I at least get a description or something. I can't just go around asking every guy who showed up if they're from Busan." Jin says.

"Brown hair. Brown eyes. He was young. Younger than anyone else." Taehyung says.

"Oh! The 'oh yeah' kid?" Jin asks throwing his hands up.

"What?" Taehyung asks.

"Nevermind. I'll find him." Jin stands gathering the paperwork. "Don't worry."

"I can't afford to worry. Now go." Taehyung says waving his hand at the elder.

Jin doesn't stop himself from rolling his eyes at the younger as he leaves the room.

-

Jungkook groans as the knocking on his front door continues and he rolls off the couch.

He doesn't bother looking through the peephole before pulling the door open.

He freezes when he sees the familiar face of Kim Taehyung's assistant.

"Jeon Jungkook?" The older male asks.

"I'm. Yeah." Jungkook says. "I'm Jungkook."

"Good news and bad news." Seokjin says walking pass the younger and entering the small apartment. "Good news. Mr. Kim wants you as his personal stylist."

"Wh-. A-Are you serious?" Jungkook sputters.

"Bad news. He has a shoot tomorrow and needs his wardrobe by then." Jin says.

"What? Tomorrow? How could I have time? I haven't even- a shoot? What kind of shoot? Who-"

"Calm down." The older says holding up a hand. "Here is a list of the brands he is most fond of. Measurements and sizes. Dress him in anything Gucci and he'll fucking love you."

"I have no idea where to even start." Jungkook says looking over the list of expensive brands.

"Good luck Mr. Jeon." Jin says handing him a card. "For business uses only. There should be more than enough up there."

"Thank you." The younger says taking the card.

"I'll see you tomorrow. By the way, it's a night shoot. So show up around six before it gets dark." Jin says.

"I'll be there." Jungkook says.

Jin says goodbye again before finally leaving the apartment.

Jungkook imideatley puts on his shoes and leaves the place to somehow put together an entire shoot worth of clothes by tomorrow.

--

Jungkook shows up to the set extra early so he can neatly hang the outfits he picked for Taehyung.

He actually feels pretty good about the clothes and hopes that the other loves what he's picked as much as he does.

Jungkook sees Seokjin before he sees Taehyung and the older skips over to look at his work.

"I have to say Jungkook. I am really impressed." He praises. "I'm almost sure that Mr. Kim will be pleased with your work. Ah. Speaking of the devil."

Taehyung enters the large dressing room looking as jaw dropping as ever as he slides his coat off.

"Evening everyone." Taehyung greets the two bowing his head.

"Good evening." Jungkook and Jin say bowing as well.

"Jeon Jungkook." Taehyung says. "I'm sure Jin delivered my message."

"Yes sir." Jungkook says.

"Don't call me that. I'm not that old." Taehyung says before walking over to the rack of clothes.

Jungkook can't quite explain it but when Taehyung walks it's almost as if he's literally floating on air.

Jungkook watches nervously as the other evaluates each outfit. His expression is unreadable as he tilts his head.

"Hm." Taehyung says turning to face the other two.

Jungkook raises an eyebrow as he floats by him. "Hm?"

"Hm." Taehyung responds again nonchalantly shrugging his shoulder.

Jungkook shifts from one foot to the other as Taehyung grabs his coat and leaves the room.

"Oh-kay." Jin says breaking the suffocating silence.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jungkook asks turning to face Jin.

"I don't know. Maybe he liked it." Jin shrugs.

"Maybe? He hated it! I run around like a crazy person for hours and hours and all he can say is 'hm'?" Jungkook complains.

"Just relax. He's just trying to intimidate you." Jin says.

Jungkook frowns as he crosses his arms.

"Don't pout. Come on. Let's go see what the boss is up to." Jin says leading the boy to the main set.

"Where's Tae?" Jin asks one of the people walking around.

"Changing. First shot in fifteen."

Jin thanks him before continuing in the direction of the set.

"Changing? So he really isn't going to wear anything I picked?" Jungkook asks.

Jin doesn't answer as Taehyung approaches them wearing an outfit that Jungkook is absolutely fascinated by but of course he suppresses the thought as he remembers how pissed he should be.

"Jin. Take Jungkook to my dressing room. You." Taehyung says addressing Jungkook. "Stay there."

"Stay there? For how long?" Jungkook asks.

"Until I come to get you." The silverette says narrowing his eyes.

"No." Jungkook says. "I might as well just go home. It's not like you actually needed me for anything."

"Jungkook." Jin says. "Just come on."

"Quickly Jin. Meet me back here." Taehyung orders before the two set off.

"What an asshole." Jungkook complains.

"Oh. He's just getting started. Trust me." Jin says. "You'll get used to him if you stick around."

Jungkook nods and Jin stops him in front of a plain white door.

"The shoot shouldn't take more than an hour at most." Jin says.

"He really expects me to sit here for an hour doing nothing?" Jungkook asks.

"You know. You're doing a lot of complaining for your first day on the job." Jin says.

"I just... I really thought he'd like what I picked. I put a lot of thought in it and I really did think he'd love it." The younger says sadly.

Jin smiles sympathetically at the younger. "Don't worry. You'll get your chance ."

With that Jin walks away and Jungkook enters the dressing room.

The small amount of space in the room irritates Jungkook as he sits down on the couch.

--

True to Jin's word the door opens an hour later and Taehyung enters.

Jungkook stands when he sees him still nervous whenever he comes around.

Taehyung no longer sports the outfit he wore when Jungkook first saw him he now wears comfortable clothes.

Jungkook has seen Taehyung's pictures in all kinds of magazines and in clothing stores but he's never seen him look so casual before.

"Please sit down." The silverette says and the younger does.

Taehyung sits beside Jungkook on the couch kicking off his shoes and sitting with his legs crisscrossed.

"My last stylist," Taehyung starts grabbing Jungkook's attention. "we were very close and I never thought that I'd have to find another so quickly."

Taehyung looks up at Jungkook, his brown eyes meet the others.

"I have to say that I was in fact very impressed by your fashion sense, Jungkook." The silverette says. "And I couldn't imagine how difficult it must have been at such short notice."

Jungkook nods breaking eye contact.

"There's trust that must be established between us. Do you understand?" Taehyung asks.

Jungkook nods. "I can understand that."

"You've already proven yourself greatly but that has nothing to do with trust." Taehyung says. "I have worked hard to get where I am now and I can't afford to not have a stable team working with me."

"I understand." Jungkook says again.

"Thank you for waiting." Taehyung says sitting up and pulling his sandals back over his socks. "I'll see you tomorrow. My office."

"You know you have a bad habit of telling and not asking." Jungkook points out.

"I can't waist my energy on simple stuff like that." Taehyung says. "Will you be there or not?"

"I'll be there. What time? I have work tomorrow." Jungkook says.

"Quit. You work for me now." Taehyung says.

"I'll quit when I'm ready." Jungkook says. "Now what time?"

"Noon. Jin will call if there's a change of plans." Taehyung says and they both stand from the couch.

"I'll be there. Thank you again Taehyung." Jungkook says bowing slightly. "This really is like a dream."

Taehyung smiles. "I'll see you tomorrow, Mr. Jeon."

"Stop calling me that." Jungkook says shooting the silver haired man a smile.

"Jungkook." Taehyung corrects. "I'll see tomorrow."
