"Go on and spread the light and beauty in the world," Mr. Simon says waving his arms in the air. After the class clears out I walk up to him and hesitantly ask, "Do you know where the library is." Mr. Simon nods and asks, "are you not going to lunch." I shake my head. Mr. Simon smiles and says, "I'm actually heading there now, would you like to join me." I look at my feet and nod.

           He smiles encouraging at me as we leave to the library. All the kids were on there way to lunch at the moment. When we get in the library he asks what section I plan on going to. I hesitate with some thought and say, "the poetic section" he nods and points to where it is. I silently thank him and walk away. I pull out some books and sit on the ground.

              I start reading, some time later i feel a hand touch my shoulder. I instantly pale (even more then i am) and freeze. "Sorry, i didn't mean to scared you," a womans voice says. I turn to see a thirty year old woman with blonde hair in a pixie cut. I look down feeling embarrassed i got so scared. "Aren't you going to your classes, if so your an hour and a half late, lunch had been over a while ago.

         I jump up my eyes wide, i over read. I completely lost time. "Hey its okay I'll write your teachers an email saying you helped volunteer in here and we both lost track of time," the woman says. I smile in relief and say, "thank you, but you don't have t-". She puts up her index finger silencing me. "No, I insist. You seem like you like to read," the lady says pointing to my pile of three bookd i finished reading.

           "Thank you, to pay you back I'll help volunteer and put the books on the shelf for you," I say my shyness fading. She smiles and says, "I'd like that, thank you." I smile and say, "I'm Jade, whom may you be." She blinks with surprise and says, "whom? You sound so intelligent speaking like that. Oh and I'm  Laura, the librarian." I shake her hand politely.

                I felt pride when she said about intelligence. She guides me to her computer and sends the email, then writes a small note just in case. "I shall be back tomorrow, thank you so much," I say as I walk out. I give the note to the teacher when I walk in and she says It's fine as ling as i caught up with these lessons.
