Jade felt like her heart stopped working and she looked like a rainwing shot her with venom, she was scared, paralyzed, and felt like she wanted to be back home with her mother. "a...alb...albatross?, the evil animus, the dragon that killed his sister, skywings, and part of his own tribe!?" jade said with fear in her whole body. frost also looked astonished he what!? frost  thought as he looked confused. "why is he in your mind!!!" jade screamed with fear "keep it down" he whispered covering her mouth, she immediately flared her fangs at him and he took his tail away from her mouth. 

"don't touch me!" Jade said as she backed away from him "jade listen i don't like this either, my family hates me, i have an evil animus living inside me, i want it all to end" he said as he started to cry.

 Jade new that this was the time to say something "frost i'm sorry that this is happening but i'm not sure what i can do to help you" she said going over to his side, "i want this end" he said softly. 

" for now you have to try keep him weak and not let him kill anyone else" jade said to her sad friend " do you think you could do that?" she asked as he nodded

"we should get to sleep" jade yawned " we can talk more about this tomorrow" she said as they both laid down on the floor and slept

the next morning frost looked seeing a rainwing holding a cup of tea, a bag with a wooden flute, and a snake wrapped around her neck stood next to his bed. "hurry we need to get to class" the rainwing said waking away

" alright" he yawned getting up and walking out, he tried keeping up with the rainwing. eventually they walked into a room with clay and a few other dragons

"now that everyone is here today we will be doing some introductions so we all get to now a bit about each other, hello my name is clay i love my siblings and i'm exited to learn more about you all" he said looking at the mudwing next to him 

"my name is brownie, i'm the youngest of my siblings and that's all" he said 

the rainwing who woke up frost played a tune on her flute, "would you stop that!" jewel yelled as the rainwing rolled her eyes and kept playing

"my name's jewel, i work for queen ruby but i still wanted to come here and i like art" she said "and if the rainwing doesn't shut up i'm going to take that flute and break it" she thought as jade gave her a nervous face

frost looked at jade as she turned her head away "i must have scared her, what if she spills my secret" he thought nervously " hello my name is frost and i'm really liking jade mountain academy" he smiled

" that's nice to hear frost but can you tell us a bit about you?" clay asked

"well...i really like to" he said trying to think of something " just say you love spending time outside" albatross hissed. "i really like to be outside.." he said anxiously as everyone looked at tidal

"that was to close" albatross growled as frost ignored him and payed attention to the sandwing

" my name is sandstorm, i grew up in the ice kingdom so i really don't now much about sandwings and i hope to learn more about them" he said as frost caught a glimpse of sand and the nightwings tail in twined 

" my name is nightflake, i'm excited to be here and i'm an animus" she said as she got quieter at the last part

then the rainwing spoke up "my name's jaguar, this snake is rainbow and this snake around my horns is nebula, i carry my flute where ever i go and i'm a good fighter" she said drinking some tea

then everyone looked at jade "my name is jade, i'm a rainwing nightwing hybrid and my favorite thing to do is read" she said 

" well it's nice to meet you all" clay said smiling " any questions?"

" i have one?" night flake said "so jade what kind of abilities do you have" 

jade looked confused about this "why ask?" she wondered "well you're a hybrid so you must have mixed abilities" night said "well yeah i have venom, and fire but it's black" jade said

"that's all"night said "no nightwing abilities like mind reading or future seeing"

"no none" jade said keeping her scales normal as everyone looked at her

"okay everyone how about you all get something to eat" clay said "i need to go talk about what happened yesterday" he whispered leaving as everyone got up

" are you coming?" frost asked jade "she can read my mind" jade hissed "she's also a mind reader, what if she saw.." "don't" frost hissed covering her mouth as she grabbed his talons and put them down

"i'm going to eat" she sighed leaving as frost stayed behind 

" she doesn't trust you  frost, when and if the rest find out they'll turn on you just like your family and they'll die" albatross said disappearing as frost shook with fear

" i have to stop this, i have to stop this all before the world ends" he thought leaving the room
