"Jade wake up!" Lily screamed in her sisters ear "you have to get ready for jade mountain" she said as she nudged her sister with her tail.

"w..what" Jade said groaning as she woke up "just five more minutes". "no get up!" her sister shouted as she hit her sister softly on the head with her tail. "okay okay okay i'm up" Jade said as she got up and walked out of her room 

as she walked out her dad was gone but her mom was sitting down and eating some fruit

"good morning mom"  Jade said as she went over and hugged her mom "oh good morning Jade" her mother said as she slowly got up. Jade quickly rushed to her moms side and helped her up 

about a year ago jade's mother lost her back leg while trying to protect her from shadow is what jade called it. all she could remember is she was out in the forest at night just relaxing and finding some place to read. she soon started to her someone out in the forest, a dragon, but she couldn't read the dragons mind and she could barley see it like it was a shadow. the figure soon jumped out and attacked jade. it was still hard to see the figure but she screamed as loud as she could. soon her mother came and the figure started fighting her but in the end her mother lost one off her legs and the shadowy figure fled of into the forest.

"thank you jade" he mother said as she leaned against a wall then sat on her bed "so we should take you to jade mountain in about...30 minutes" "i have to do something before i go" she said as she quickly flew to the healers hut 

frost was out of his bed and was starting to walk around. "um...hi" jade said as she came in. frost of course jumped back as she came in then relaxed when he saw who it was. "oh hey, i'm just getting to walk again, i'm going to need to if i'm going to jade mountain today" frost said as Jade stared at him for a second 

why is she staring at me. oh that's right she can read minds just think about the ice kingdom no wait not that... 

"sorry i'm just surprised, i didn't know you would also be attending" "oh so your going to jade mountain too" frost asked as Jade slowly nodded her head "well i guess i will see you more often"

"my mom was just about to take me there, would you like to come with us?" 

"sure, i need to stretch my wings anyways. let's go" he said as they both flew back to jade's hut

her mother quickly looked at frost and her first reaction was "ah! somebody help me there's an icewing in my hut!" her mother never got over icewings since one tried to kill her parents

"no mom it's okay, this is the icewing from last, he's attending jade mountain too and i thought he could come with us" she told her mother as frost gave a nervous wave to her "oh ok, i'm sorry for my reaction" she told frost still looking at him seeing if he was all clear and not threatening

"okay then let's go then" jade said as they all took of. jade could see that her mother was trying to keep lily as far away from frost as she could but still trying to keep up with them.

"okay so your mom obviously doesn't like icewings" frost said in a worried voice as he tried to stay as far away from her mom as possible. "when she was just a dragonet a icewing tried to kill her parents" "oh well that explains it" he said as they both took a glance back at her mother and of course she gave frost a little his and he quickly turned around

"so what are you suppose to be exactly, not trying to be rude" frost asked "i just don't know if your a nightwing or not"

"it's fine, i'm a hybrid actually, i'm half nightwing and half rainwing. that's why i look so different" Jade explained to him

wow she's a hybrid, well i'm pretty sure i can trust her, she seems really nice frost thought 

"thanks for the compliment and i usurer you than i'm a very trust worthy dragon" jade told him as he gave her a don't do that look 

"oh i forgot i never got your name, you already know mine i should know yours" he told her

"my name is jade, and it's hard to control my powers" she said as he didn't look at her

eventually they arrived at Jade Mountain Academy. they saw a mudwing and a seawing siting at a table with a bunch of scrolls next to them. "Hello there and welcome to jade mountain academy" said the mudwing "my name is clay and this is tsunami, first things first what are your names?" "my name is jade and this is frost" she said pointing to frost. 

"well it's nice to meet you both, tsunami do you have there information"  clay asked tsunami and she handed them both a scroll. "this contains your class schedule, your winglet, and a few others things like you name and age" tsunami told them "well i hope you enjoy it here, that sandwing over there sunny, she will tell you were to go if you need to now" immediately Lily took of towards sunny and of course Jade went after her little sister 

"well hello there" Sunny said as Lily looked up at her "are you sunny, from the Dragonet prophecy?" Lily said excitedly. "yes, why are you asking" Sunny said freaked out a bit 

"Sunny i'm so sorry about this" Jade said as she glared at her sister "she's sorta a fan"

"oh well it's really nice to meet you both, what are your names?" "my name is Starlily but you can call me lily and this is my older sister Jade, i'm sorry i just wanted to say thank you for saving us all from the war" Lily said as Sunny looked over at her friends, but all they did was laugh a bit and shrug like they couldn't do anything

"well i'm not the only one who helped, those two over there, tsunami and clay, there also part of the prophecy" Sunny said as lily turned around and rushed over to them, both clay and tsunami gave her a look as Lily started talking to them

"wow, I've never seen her that excited" jade said. "yep it's nice to meet a fan" sunny giggled "so jade if i can remember right your in the jade winglet along with him" she said pointing to frost

"thanks sunny" jade said as she hugged her mom and sister goodbye

what was i even worried about, this place is great, i guess i will have fun here

okay this was definitely my longest chapter but i still thought it was good

what do you think will happen with jade and her new school, will it be good or a disaster
