Lucy's POV

'How can he take care of me when he can't even take care of himself!' I thought while pouting.

Natsu's POV

I turn from Lucy when she settles into her bed. I stroll into the still dirty kitchen, and exhale the breath I didn't know I was holding.

'Her eyes.......how can they be so Chocolate Brown?'

"Crap, I guess I'm gonna have to clean this mess up and start over." I sigh.

I put on a determined face and I try to find a cloth for sponge to clean with. I look over at the sink and see a cloth, and take it. I look around the kitchen.

'Now I know how Lucy feels when I make a mess. I'm never doing that ever again to her'

Lucy's POV

I saw Natsu turn from me and walk to the kitchen.

'Great he's most likely gonna mess it up even more.'

I sigh but smile afterwards.

'Well it's always the thought that counts.'

I then feel my smile deepen a bit.

'Well I'm glad he cares'

And that is the last thing I think before it goes black meaning sleep has taken over.

Natsu's POV after "cleaning"

I am finally done. Why does it takes so long to clean? Ok next is making Luce some........soup, right? Where are the cans of soup? Maybe I should ask her? Nah she's probably sleep. I'll find it. I inhale deeply, searching for a specific smell. I search around for a bit but eventually I can smell chicken, celery, noodles, carrots.

"Gotcha!"

I pulled open one of her drawers and sure enough there's a can of chicken noodle soup.
I walk over to the counter and place it on top. I stare at the can and wonder how to do this.

"Ok well, open," I point to the can hoping it would open.

'Ok that didn't work.'

"Um open can."

'Still? Really? I thought that would work.'

"Open can, please." I say with a small side smile.

But the can just sat there. Not opening. Not even a little. I glare at the can, annoyed that the stupid thing wouldn't open its damn self already. I forcefully grab the can off the counter and throw it on the ground, and I start stomping around the counter.

"Oh com'on! Im trying to take care of someone here. So will ya just open up already!" I say with frustration.

'What happened to being smart?' I pause.

I stare the busted can down, just hoping it would break because of my glare. I could just see the can smirking.

'I'll be smart later!'

"Oh you're gonna get it!"

Lucy's POV

I open my eyes, for the second time that day, to smell of something really good.

'Natsu? It smells delicious...'

Natsu then strolls into the bedroom with a pleased and happy grin. "Did ya sleep good Luce?"

"First off its 'well'. As in 'did you sleep well?' Secondly yes, yes I did."

Natsu ignores me and walks over to the bedside and gets on his knees with a bowl of, wait is that soup?!

"Natsu did you cook?"

"Yea I did, but I cleaned it up I swear." I gawk at Natsu with my mouth hanging wide open.

"Y-you cleaned?"

"Yea I did, but let's not talk bout that now your soup will get cold." I hesitate at first, and don't judge I mean this is Natsu.

If he knew how to cook why does he make me do it all the time. I sigh and try to take the bowl, but Natsu wags his finger.

"No, I'm gonna feed ya because you're sick."

Ok feeding me that's way to far, because I'm not even sick!

"Natsu I have something to tell you."

"Ok-"

I sighed and look up at him.

"Natsu, I'm not-" But before I could even finish he shoves a spoonful of chicken noddle in my mouth, and it's not even that bad.

"You can tell me after you eat," Natsu confidently says. His face stays calm but there's a smirk in his eyes and I know he thinks this is funny.

'Oh so he thinks he can do whatever he wants now.'

Natsu's POV after she eats

Lucy asked if she can go to the table to write and I say yes. She's currently sitting at the desk while I'm lounging on the bed watching her, but I can't look away. Her features highlighted by the sunlight which makes her look like she's glowing. Her eyes sparkle with joy while she writes clearly loving it. I smile and I start thinking again.

'I love the way she has such a determination to fight.'

Flashbacks of the Grand Magic Games come flooding in. The fight with Flare. Her determination to win. Her fight with Jackal and the other demons. She saved us all by herself. Even though she had she had to give up a key she didn't give up. Or the time on Tenrou Island she was almost killed my Kain and yet.....she stayed and didn't give up.

'I love the way she protects.'

More flashbacks of how she saved Asuka from being killed by Flare. She stayed strong and endured the pain so she could live even if it meant she was to be brutally beaten in the process.

'I love how she can easily forgive.'

Flashbacks of her offering to help Flare even though she almost killed her in the past. She even offered her a spot in Fairy Tail. She forgave her.

'I love how she's so nice.'

Flashbacks of all the times she was nice to me. Even though she complained she still didn't kick me out. I was able to stay.

'I love her....'

'You know what I'm gonna tell her. I'm gonna tell her my feelings. That I love her......'

I look at Lucy. She has a calm yet happy look and her hand holding the pen glides on the paper smoothly. I go behind her and find my arms wrap around her. She stiffens and I bring my face into the crook of her neck. I can feel the heat on her ears from the blush.

"Natsu?" She whispers. I hug her tighter. We stay like that for a couple of minutes.

"Lucy." I state and she turns around in my arms facing me.

"Yes?" She questions. We stare at each other for what seems like forever. I get lost in her brown orbs. It's silent for what seems like eternity again, but I can't can't take it any longer.

"Natsu."

"Luce."

We both say. We look at each other with amusement, but really I'm a nervous reck.

"You go first Lucy."

"No you go first. You look at you have something really in important to say." I look down now really nervous.

'Ok here it goes.'

"L-Luce...."

'oh great i ,almighty Natsu Dragneel, is stuttering.'

I look back up to see Lucy with confused eyes. I grab her and pull her into a hug and dig my face in her neck.

"Luce I......."

I pull back to look her in the eyes, and I say the three words with confidence. I take a deep breathe.

"Lucy I love you."

Her eyes widen and I can her a small gasp escape her lips.

"N-natsu....." She stutters embarrassed. She looks down. All the while my head is screaming.

'I knew it she doesn't love me let alone even like me.'

I look the other way and hang my head. She lifts my face and I turn my head away, not wanting to see the rejection and her angry face. But she's not gonna have that, so she takes her hands places them on my cheeks and turns my head. What she said next was one of the happiest things I've heard in my life.

"I love you too, Natsu."

Then she stands stands up tall and kisses me right smack dab on the lips. I stand there shocked. My eyes I can feel them bugging out of my head, but then I relax and kiss her back. It's a small kiss, but I nice one. Her lips are so soft and comforting they pull me in. They pull me in almost like a trance.

All to soon we break apart. Her lips tasted of strawberries and I'm left wanting more. I grin down at her, and pull her into a hug, and now I think I don't want to let go.

"Um Lucy?" I call.

"Yea?" She says looking up at me.

"Weren't you gonna say somethin?"

"Yea. You know I'm not sick, right?" I backed up and stared at her. Then I chuckled and her back into a hug.

"Yea I knew, because I couldn't smell anything different about you."

"My smell?" She questioned with scrunched eyebrows.

"It's all in the smell." I point to my nose.

"Then why did you act like I was sick?" She asked with a huff.

I pulled back again and kissed her softly on the lips again wanting the strawberry taste. I pulled away and smirked.

"Because I like taking care of you." I murmured softly, and my Luce smiled the smile I know and love.

Lucy's POV

'I think I love snow days.'

Natsu then pulled me to him again and gave me small kisses. Then one on my lips again.

'No. I love snow days. And Natsu.' I think smiling into the kiss.

Bonus Happys POV

"Carla."
