howdy hey my kiddos!

so... back again with a redraw >w<
last time we had the redraw of "drowned" remember? and to continue the series, let's go ahead with "lost"!!

now... lost is extremely interesting. similar to sun and moon, i did indeed redraw this piece before and am currently writing the chapter for the third year in a row ^-^

anyways, let's get into it, eh?
here we have the original i drew in 2019:

the whole thing was pretty random... i essentially wanted to draw a dude and add a contrasting focal point in there, but... you can see how well i managed at the time ^-^""

in 2020, i decided to give the whole thing another shot, trying to enhance the whole thing a bit, make it more interesting than it was before... and i mean... the expression really ain't the best here, but man the development in style is just... insane honestly.

now when it came to this years redraw, i decided to be a bit more daring in the changes i made. the original concept was cool and everything, but it did indeed feel rather stiff and boring, making me want to add some more interest.

I replaced the scar/wound/thing with a rather interesting looking eye, that should match with runes and patterns in the background. i wanted the thing to feel a lot colder and give it more motion and emotion....... yeah....... i think on it's own it's pretty okay, I did indeed go too far away from the original though, to be honest with you.... i'll probably give the whole thing a second try sometime soon, just because i've got quite a lot of better ideas now, than i had then >w<

so up there you could see the first final rendition...

i ended up changing quite a bit later on, after finishing "empty" and making all three match together somehow.

so i added some more red and purple-tones, as well as sized the character up quite a bit, since he really was smaller than the other two, since those were mere portraits >w<"

so yeah!

not really the most interesting chapter, but i sure did enjoy working on this piece ^-^
