Jack and I have been dating for six months now.

He treats Charlie as if she was his own daughter, I said to my sister Lee.

I'm glad that Jack makes you happy, I had missed seeing you happy, I'm glad that he loves Charlie, Lee said.

I can't believe that Charlie is one today, Lee said.

Yeah, My baby is growing up so fast, I said.

Does Jack want kids, Lee asked?

I haven't asked him yet, I hope that he does want them, bc I want to give Charlie a sister or brother, I said.

How is Jack with Charlie, Lee asked?

He is great with her, she loves him, I said.

A couple of days ago, Charlie said something that I was scared of what just came out of her mouth, I said.

What did she say, Lee asked?

Charlie called Jack, Daddy, I said.

Wow, Lee said.

I was scared of how he was going to react to it, I said.

Jackie, how did Jack react to Charlie calling him daddy, Lee asked?

He was shocked at first, then he just started to smile, I said.

It sounds like It made his day when charlie called him daddy, Lee said.

I never saw Jack so happy, I said.

Happy First Birthday Baby Girl, I said as I pick up Charlie off the floor.

She just smiles.

I carry her over to the table, I put her in the highchair.

Here you go, I said as I lay a cupcake on her tray.

I help her blow out the candle, I watch her take a bite out of the cupcake.

Her face was covered in frosting.

I chuckled.

I grab a wipe and clean her mouth.

I grab the pieces of the cupcake that she had eaten, I throw it away in the trash can.

Hey Jack, Can you put charlie down for a nap, I asked?

Yeah, He said.

Jack picks up charlie from her highchair.

charlie finally sleep, Jack said.

Thank you, I said.

Since charlie is one now, I have just been having baby fever, I just miss having a newborn in the house, I said.

Well if you want another baby, let's go give charlie a sister or brother, Jack said.

Really, I said.

Yes, Jack said.

Jack grabs her hand and heads upstairs to the bedroom.
