When I got to Autumn's house, I started pounding on the door. She betta ansa this damn dow.. I thought to myself. After knocking about five times, she finally unlocked the door. The only problem was that she didn't open it. So I knew that something was up. I came in the house, went upstairs after her and flung the covers off of her bed. There she was, crouched into a ball with her hair covering her face.

Nicole: Autumn, what's wrong?

She wouldn't answer me and I put my hands on my hips.

Nicole: Autumn.. Autumn, you betta ansa me, dammit.

I heard a crackle as she took in a deep breath and that's when I knew that she had been crying. So I calmed down and sat on the bed.

Nicole: Autumn, please just tell me what happened.

Her breath crackled again before she responded.

Autumn: You were right.. About everything.. But so was I.

I was highly confused on what she was talking about but I knew that if I spoke now, she'd never finish what she had to say.

Autumn: You told me not to do it and I.. I did! I did! And now I know the truth about him!

She took in a deep breath as she started crying again and shifted so that her head was in her pillow.

Autumn: They're so much alike and I saw it! You said I was condemning him to Jacob's problems and now look at him! It wasn't just me..

I tried to get her to calm down by rubbing her back but she wouldn't have it. She sat up and I could tell that she was beyond pissed.

Autumn: No, don't touch me! Cause I know what you're gonna say! You're gonna say that you were right and I know that you are! That's why you and Diggy are so strong and I can never have something like that!

The pieces slowly started coming together in my head and then I knew. She had decided to have sex with him and then he did something similar to Jacob's mistake right after.

Autumn: You know that I really loved him? I mean, I really really loved him and he just-!

She screamed in frustration before sitting in her pool of silence.

Nicole: It's okay, Autumn. Just calm down, okay?

Autumn: No! I will not calm down because I'm not finished! I just.. He just.. As soon as he got me right where he wanted me, he said her name.. He said her name as soon as he positioned himself for the first stroke..

Her voice cracked again and she covered her face with her hands. That's when I knew that she had just one more thing to say before she was done.

Autumn: Why was I so stupid? I believed everything he told me and did exactly what you told me to do and yet, I still got hurt! How? How in the hell do you do that?

She said as she glared at me before shaking her head and letting the rest of her tears fall silently. I tried not to touch her, out of comfort or anything at all, because I knew that she'd flip out on me. So I just slipped my hands behind my back to pull off my engagement ring from Diggy. I figured that good news about relationships, especially mine, would upset her more. It's hard enough to watch my best friend break down, knowing that there's nothing that I can do about it this time to make anything better.. But I do know how much she loves Trevor. And the only thing that I can do right now, is find his ass and find out what exactly he did to my sister.

In class, I can't focus. At home, I can't sleep. And at lunch, I can't eat. My focus is only on Autumn and what happened. My mind is always too busy to shut down at night and the constant thought of losing her is eating me alive. Which is why I can't eat, sleep or focus clearly at all in class. When I first stepped foot in the classroom, Courtney was in my face immediately about the text that I had sent her.

Courtney: Hey, um, Trevor? What the hell is this?

She lifted her phone to my face so that I could see the text. I just rolled my eyes as I scoffed and waved her off.

Courtney: Trevor, we may not be what we used to be, but we are still involved with each other academically! And I need to know what's up with you!

Trevor: And that's the thing Courtney because it's none of your business! If I say that I don't wanna act as the leading man, then so be it!

Courtney: But why can't you just tell me why?

My eyes pierced through hers but she didn't move.

Trevor: Because I said so.

I said before turning my back to her once more. I was highly pissed because of what happened yesterday and I was in no mood to hear any bullshit from anybody. Especially not Courtney. I took my seat and put in my ear buds as I sat there and began to try and write some more music. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I slowly glared up at the person and it was Courtney again. I rolled my eyes as I sighed.

Trevor: What do you want, Courtney?

Courtney: Listen, Trevor. I don't know what's wrong with you, but-.

Trevor: And you'll never know cause it's none of your business.

She took in a deep breath before continuing.

Courtney: But.. I just want you to know that I'm always here for you, okay?

Trevor: Well, thanks but no thanks, cause I don't need you. You've done enough.

Courtney: Listen Trevor, if this is about our breakup, then-.

I laughed in annoyance.

Trevor: No. The past is in the past. This is new beef. Now leave.

She stared at me for a moment and I put my earbuds back in. She snatched them back out and glared at me.

Courtney: No.

Trevor: Not today Courtney. I ain't try'na break the law today.

Courtney: And I'm not playing games with you Trevor. Now you are going to either apologize to me or tell me what the hell happened.

I glared at her for a while before sighing and shrugging.

Trevor: Well then I guess you just gon sit there, cause I ain't saying shit.

Courtney: Trevor Jackson.. You better start talk to me right now.

Trevor: Or what?

Her eyes said it all and I sighed.

Courtney: Tell me..

I bit my bottom lip before telling her.

Trevor: My girl basically broke up with me..

Courtney: Basically?

Trevor: It's a long story.

Courtney: I got time.

Trevor: You don't need to know all that. So you got what you wanted. Now leave me alone.

Courtney: Well why can't you be the leading man?

Trevor: Because I don't want to anymore.

Courtney: Why not?

Trevor: Because I don't.

Courtney: Because your girlfriend broke up with you?

I hesitated.

Courtney: I see.. She somehow mixed the play into the relationship which caused your break up?

Trevor: Close enough..

I nodded. She rubbed my shoulder.

Courtney: Well I'm here for you if you need anything. Okay?

I nodded as my phone got a text from Nicole.

This can't be good..
