Plot Twist
Have you ever heard of a plot twist? You have? Oh good, because that's exactly what this story is. A huge plot twist and how Chase isn't who you expected him to be.
All the egos were sat around a table, Chase being the farthest from Anti in particular. He sat staring down at his hands that were lightly clasped together, his fingers only intwining with each other.
Everyone else was laughing and having a good time. Even Jack was there.
"Chase?" Marvin put a hand on his back. "Huh? Oh hi Marvin." Chase jumped. "What's wrong? You seem down." He asked. "I'm fine just.. Not having a good day, y'know?" Chase half lied. He was always having bad days. He couldn't hide it anymore.
Marvin rubbed his back a slight bit. "What happened?" Chase narrowed his eyes and shook his head. "I'm. Fine." "But-" "MARVIN!! I SAID I'M FINE!!" Chase yelled. Everyone around the table turned to him. "C-Chase?" Anti asked with concern. "Do you need someone to talk to?" Chase harshly sighed and stood up, storming out of the room.
"Is he okay?" Jack asked. "I tried asking him what's up, he didn't respond." Marvin bit his lip. "I really hope he's okay."
"Probably just having a bad day." Jackieboy Man sighed. "Yeah, agree. I have those." Schneeple added on.
"I-I'm gonna go see if he's okay." Jack hesitated before standing up. Anti grabbed his arm and pulled him back down. "No. Give him some space. And plus I don't want you getting hurt." Jack pushed Anti's hand away and started walking out anyway. "If I don't come back, run. Get out of the house. It probably means he's dangerous."
"You wouldn't let us disappear, would you?" Marvin asked, tears starting to form. Jack thought for a moment before responding. "If I die, you all die with me. But look, we have Dr. Schneeplestein, so if I were to get injured, he can help, okay?" Jack explained before twisting the doorknob slightly.
They all nodded to show that they understood. Jack smiled before turning around and disappearing into the next room.
First he had to search around the hallway for what room Chase was in.
Chase on the other hand, he was going insane. "They all.... They all will die..." Chase muttered while staring at the blood stained steel that lied in his hand. "All I have to do.... Is kill Jack...."
He stared at himself in the mirror. "I'm TIRED of hiding, it's time to show the REAL me." Chase growled at himself, his voice getting a slight bit deeper.
Then, there were footsteps. And a knock at the door.
"Chase? You okay buddy?" Jack asked shakily, almost like he was gonna crash right there. Chase smirked and flung the door open. "Oh hi Jack. Nice seeing you around here." Chase said in a mocking tone. "W-what are you doing? A-are you- Chase! P-put it down!!" Jack was on the brink of crying, he pointed at the knife in Chase's hand and plead for him to drop it.
"Oh, this?" Chase asked as he flung it up to the side of his face. "This is my mark. This is how I leave my mark on people." He smirked. Before Jack could say anything else, he grabbed Jack and slammed the door shut and locked it. He dimmed the lights until you could barely see anything and held Jack against the wall.
"You don't know who I really am, do you?" He chuckled. His eyes started turning pitch black, something Jack noticed right away even through the dim lighting. "What? Who? Who are you? A-and your eyes..." Jack's voice faded out, he was weak in Chase's grasp and couldn't find the words to speak.
"I've been FORCED to act normal around you bitches, for MONTHS I've suffered, I've had to HIDE the true me, but now, it's time to show you who I REALLY am." Chase growled, his knife slowly getting close to Jack's neck.
"Are you-" Jack was cut off by Chase putting his finger on Jack's lips. "Yes, Jack. I'm a demon." Chase smiled wider than he ever had before, it felt so good to finally say that. "And now.. I'll have control." He chuckled in a high pitched voice and pulled Jack up from the wall. Jack stood there trembling and choking, unable to say a word. Chase grabbed him and held him in front of him, a tight grip on his waist, and the knife pressed up against his neck. "Ready to die, Jackaboy?"
Jack tried to scream but his throat was almost blocked.
"Well too bad."
Chase slowly slid the knife across Jack's neck, making sure to make it as slow and painful as possible. Jack screamed, louder than he ever had before. It was like music to Chase's ears. He watched as the blood dropped from Jack's neck onto his shirt, staining it.
Once Chase was done with the cut, he let Jack go and Jack weakly turned to him. He rested his hand over part of his neck, his lips parted ever so slightly and his other hand was in the air as if he were reaching for something.
Then, Jack fell to the floor with a sickening thud.
Chase smiled and stared at his lifeless body, with the blood still rushing out of his neck.
Chase chuckled evilly at his masterpiece as he kneeled down beside Jack's head.
"It's my turn now."
