"Jack wake up." I said. His eyes flattered open. "What?" He said in his sleepy voice. "Let's make pancakes." I said. "Babe, it's like one in the morning." "And?" I said getting out of bed. "Come on please." He opened his eyes to see my puppy dog face, he couldn't resist. "Fine." He says getting up. "Yayayyaya." I yelled and we walked to the kitchen. I got the pancake mix out of the cabinet. And he got the bowl. I poured in the mix and took a pinch of it and threw it in Jacks face. Without saying a word he takes an egg from the carton and smashes in my hair. "Ok that's not fair" I said laughing. "Then let's leave it at that." He said. As he was stirring I walked over to a paper towel to get the egg off my head. "Jack!" I yelled. "What?" He said rushing over to my side. "I found chocolate chips." I said laughing. "Oh" he replied laughing too. I poured in the chocolate chips and he stirred. While he was cooking them I got the butter,syrup,whip cream and poured two glasses of milk. Once they were done we each got two pancakes. We added our butter,syrup and whip cream. "This was a great idea." Jack said with his mouth full. "Thank you." I replied before taking a drink of milk. When we finished we put our dishes in the sink. Jack picked me up twirled me around and carried me to the bed. "You're crazy." I said as he sat me down. "I'm not the one who wanted pancakes at one in the morning." He reminded me laughing. "Oh shut it." I said lying down. He laid down beside me. "You wanna hear something really crazy?" He asks. "Sure" I say closing my eyes. "I love you,(name)." He said. I opened my eyes but before I could say anything he kissed me. I leaned back. "I love you too." I said. And with that we fell asleep in each other's arms.
