Jackie reacts quickly, following you out through the open window. The pair of you land on the balcony, the sound of gunfire coming from within the room you just left. You take a quick glance behind you and see numerous Arasaka guards pouring through the opened door. They've found you out and they're closing in fast.

Jackie looks at you, his expression serious. "I trust you with my life." He grabs your hand again and holds tight, the pair of you running for your lives. You can hear sirens in the distance, and a few drones flying below you. They're getting closer. You're running out of time.

Jackie ? ça va ?

Jackie glances up quickly, his face still in grimace. "I'm fine. Just let's get moving." He grabs your hand, his grip tight as he forces you to your feet. Together, the pair of you begin to run as the guards get closer, their shouts echoing all around you.

Jackie grunts as he glances down, realizing that the blood smearing his hands is his own. You take a quick glance behind you and see that the guards are hot on your heels, guns and mono blades raised. They've seen you're leaking blood and are targeting you with lethal intent. The pair of you round a corner, narrowly avoiding one of the guards' swings, and burst out onto the rooftops. It's time to disappear into the city.

Jackie hesitates for only a heartbeat, his face showing his doubts. But then, he nods his head and follows your advice. Your push sends him flying over the roof edge, his body plummeting down below. You see a Delamaine Taxi speeding up towards him, the vehicle's automated systems recognizing his imminent fall and swerving to save him at the perfect time. Jack lands on the roof of the car, the car coming to a stop right below you as the Arasaka guards run over the rooftops behind you.

Delamaine immediately obeys your order, driving off as fast as it can to deliver the relic. meanwhile, you stay on the roof, keeping an eye on the guards behind you as they catch up. You can hear them getting closer, their footsteps echoing all around you. It's only a matter of time before they corner you.

The guards raise their weapons as they see you coming. The first one swings his mono blade at you, aiming for your neck. You dodge to the side and kick him in the head, sending him crashing into the one behind him. The second guard raises his gun, aiming for your stomach. You crouch low and slice at his ankles, cutting both legs at once and sending him falling to the floor. The third guard raises his gun, aiming for your head. But you're faster. You dive forward and stab him in the heart, killing him instantly.
