"No! Jack no! That is stupid idea!" North yells.

"It doesn't seem like I have much choice." I point out.

"But how do we know this is not an empty threat?" Bunny asks.

"Trust me, it is." I say.

I run my fingers through my hair.

"I have to do it. It's the only way I know for sure who I am." I say.

"Jack, he's Dracula!" Bunny yells.

"Yep." I sigh.

"Jack, please, there has to be another way." Tooth says.

"There isn't." The man jumps down.

Everyone glares. They take out their weapons.

"You never told me your name." I say.

"Avan." He answers.

He pulls of his hood.

"Avan, why now?" I ask.

"Now... you are starting to remember. It is time you stop listening to ghosts." Avan answers.

"But you want me to meet with a Vampire?" I raise an eyebrow.

"We are all the same, the living dead." He walks forward.

I draw back. He comes right in front of me.

"Wait... I'm not dead." I say.

He presses onto my chest.

"Then where did you get the scar?" Avan whispers in my ears.

That struck a nerve. I wince as his finger presses onto my chest. My hand raises my staff. I shoot ice at him. He slams into the globe. I let out a breath. He laughs. He stands up. He dusts himself off.

"You still have that fighting spirit." He rises into the air.

"At least we agree on something." I say.

"Your father is anxious to meet you, come along, do not keep him waiting." He says.

"Okay, I'm coming." I fly up.

"Jack." Tooth grabs my arm.

I look at her.

"Be careful, please." She says.

"I will." I smile.

"Any day now." Avan hisses.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine." I say.
