"I have done as you have requested my lord." I bow.
"Good, the ball has begun rolling." He says.
"But... your son was not there." I say.
"I know. I also know they would not tell him right away. You must tell him." He says.
"Yes, my lord." I lower my head.
"Have you been watching him closely?" He turns to me.
I nod. I let out a cry. A raven comes through the dark, stained window. It lands on my arm.
"Yes, my lord, my spy has been keeping a rather close eye on him." I say.
"And has he begun to remember the past?" He asks.
"Yes, the pain and fire has come back, and... her." I say.
"Her? She's calling to him from the other side?" He asks.
I nod. I stand up.
"She has been sending him her song and dreams." I say.
"So... he will remember is dear old father." He turns to the window.
"There is something else my lord," I say.
He turns to me. He shoots forward. He grabs my neck. I wince. He lifts me up.
"Have our plans been scuffed out?" He hisses.
"No, no... no! My lord. It's something that you will be interested in." I choke.
His eyebrows raise. He drops me. I gasp in the air and grab my burning throat that now drips in blood. I dust myself off. I peel my hood back. I bow again. He crosses his arms. Depending on how he takes this, it might be bad for me, but... I have to. He's more dangerous when he's waiting for information.
"They haven't told him yet." I gasp.
"Oh? The Guardians?" he asks.
"Yes, my lord." I say.
"Good. Now go, keep the ball rolling and don't fail." He says.
"I will not my lord." I say.
