Doctor Schneeplestein woke up to a knock on the door the next morning. Schneep reluctantly crawled outta bed and hurried as best as a guy fresh outta bed could. The knocking on the door was loud, hard and urgent, so he knew he needed to answer quick. He opened the door and met Robin on the other side.

"Rob? What is it?" Schneep asked, noticing how panicked he seemed.

"Is Jack here?" he panted.

"No, I....sought he was wiz you" Schneep replied as more of a question with furrowed eyebrows.

"Shit, he was helping us to catch a bank robber last night and he's been missing since" Robin quickly informed, running his hand through his hair frustratedly.

"Now just relax good friend, Jack's a fighter, he's been srough worse situations" the sergon assured. "I'm sure he's fine"

"Yea but where could he be?"

As soon as Signe heard the news of the superhero's disappearance, she set out to look for him. She started by searching around the area he was last seen, going around every alleyway and every corner in the hopes of finding him, alive at that. She then used a crafty little technique she knew to pick up his exact location. She eventually found him buried in a pile of trash in alleyway, with a bullet wound in his head.

"Oh my God" she gasped. "Jack? Sean, wake up" she urged, but didn't get a response. She then checked his pulse, feeling only a tiny little beat. She then checked the gunshot, feeling more relieved when she saw it wasn't too serious, which was probably thanx to the septic material in his body.

She then took a deep breath, clapped her hands together and began to work her magic. A minute later, Jack slowly opened his eyes and saw the cute Danish girl that just saved his life. "Hey, you ok?" she sighed with a smile, half excited and half anxious.

"Yea, uh" Jack had so many thoughts running through his head, so many emotions flaring up and so many questions arising. What was she doing here? Did she know? Had she always known? Did she really just save him? How? "Wait, how-or....wha?" he had a hard time finding the words as her nerves grew tighter and tighter. "Ur not....ordinary, are you?"

His rescuer opened her mouth to speak, but then retracted anxiously. "I'm...uh, no I'm not" was how she was able to respond. Now she was beginning to panic as she rose to her feet and paced a little.

"No hey, wait" Jack stopped and tried to calm her. "It's ok, I mean, I'm certainly not gonna complain, especially after saving my life" he assured, feeling ecstatic about her.

Signe still seemed thoroughly anxious about his discovery of her. "Sorry, it's just....nobody else has known about me for a long time" she stated.

"Hey it's fine, you keep my secret I keep your's" he assured with a comforting hand on her shoulder, Signe giving him a small, nervous smile in return. "Speaking of which, you knew who I was the whole time, didn't you?" he questioned suspiciously, making her giggle.

"I...had my suspicions" she noted.

"Oh sure" he sarcastically joked and she giggled again. "So, ur like me?" he nervously asked.

Signe averted her gaze with hesitation before saying, "Not exactly, not like you" and confusing Jack.

"Ok, so if ur not like me, then ur like a...."

"Wiishu" she finished, increasing his confusion. "A sorceress, to be exact" she clarified and Jack's confusion became astonishment.

"Really?!"

"Yea, like a spell-casting, making things disappear and healing powers kind of sorceress" she added.

"Wow, that's cool" he complimented. "Anything in particular? Just wondering" he curiously asked.

Signe slightly giggled, not believing she was actually telling someone she had only known for a couple of days about all of this. "My specialty is anything that has to do with plants" she responded.

"Ah, hence the obsession with cacti" Jack nodded.

"Ye-he-yes" she laughed.

"Oh shit" a sudden realization just hit Jack.

"What?" Signe asked, now concerned.

"You have a phone?"

"Yea, here" she dug out her phone and handed it to Jack.

The Irishman quickly typed in a number and placed the device up against his ear. "Robin, it's me" he noted. "Yea, yea, I know, I'm ok now" he quickly assured. "Yea, I'll be right over there" he nodded. "Alright, bye" he hung up the phone and handed it back to it's owner.

"Everything good?" she asked.

"Yea, he and my cousin are waiting for me back home" he informed. "Would like to come back with me?" he offered. "Just since now ur...kind of involved" he shrugged.

"Uh..." she was nervous at the idea.

"I just want to get to know you more, and kind of explain everything that's happened" he stated.

She was silent for a moment as she considered it, and couldn't deny she felt the same way. "Ok" she nodded.

Jack scoffed with enthusiasm, really looking forward to how this would turn out with her.

When Jack and Signe made their way to Schneep's, they were immediately greeted by the doctor and Robin. Jack went ahead and introduced Signe to his cousin and good friend, who were all ecstatic to meet her, but left out the sorceress part. Robin got suspicious that she was the reason Jack was out all night, he quickly assured she wasn't. But then, they all sat down in the living room and discussed the main topic at hand.

"It was Billy Kermen" Jack informed.

"Who?" Robin furrowed his brow.

"This evil little shite I knew when I was a kid" he informed. "His father hated the unholy hell outta him for a long list of reasons and as a result, Billy would just reak total havoc and cause a bunch of shit and make everyone's lives miserable" he stated informally as they listened intently. "That muther fuker was evil"

"When did you last see him?" Robin asked.

"A long time ago, before I even reached high school" he answered. "There was a rumor that he finally offed his dad and was arrested, but I never heard any confirmations"

"Alright, well I'll head back to the station and see what all I can pick up on him" Robin noted.

"That's not all" Jack added. "When we were fighting, he threw a sword at me and I caught it and threw back at his shoulder, and then he just yanked it out and the wound closed" he continued to inform.

"What?!" Schneep exclaimed.

"Really?" Signe followed, even she was caught off guard by this.

"Yea, it's like he has some kinda fast acting, deadpool-like healing power" Jack confirmed.

"Now that shit is weird" Robin said.

"Yea, even for me, that's new" Jack replied. "And he has a slight physical advantage compared to most people"

"How do you mean?" Signe asked.

"He's as strong and as agile as I am, moves fast, has great reflexes, he's like a super soldier" Jack explained.

"A super soldier that likes to rob banks" Robin raised an eyebrow.

"Oh no, he wasn't robbing any banks, he was tryna draw me out, he wanted me" Jack corrected. "We were like archenemies back then, and I'm sure that little bastard hasn't forgotten about it either"

"Wait a minute, a childhood rivalry is one thing, but wanting to kill you after so many years?" Robin questioned with a furrowed brow.

"Things were....pretty heated between us" he noted. "We were friends at first, for a short time, but then we just...." Jack trailed off.

The others decided they'd rather not let Jack go down this part of memory lane. "Well look, ur not gonna have anything to worry about, ok?" Robin assured. "We'll find him and we'll put him where he belongs"

"Damn right we will" Jack nodded determinedly.

"Wait," Signe chimed in. "Are you sure that's a good idea? He almost killed you last time" she reminded.

"He just caught me off guard, I wasn't prepared for him" he assured. "Besides, I've got all of you by my side now" he happily noted. Signe still didn't like the idea of him going out there, but felt flattered that he would trust her that much.

"Ok, so back at it tonight?" Robin asked.

"Yea" he nodded and he and Rob exchanged a bro-shake before escorting him out. However, Signe decided to stick around for a bit and Schneep was kind enough to give them some privacy.

"Thankyou, by the way, for not telling them about me" Signe started.

"Well, didn't think it was my place to tell" he shrugged, making her smirk. "Look, I'm flattered that you don't want me to get hurt, but I'm the only one who can stop this guy" he noted.

"I know, I would just really like it if we got the chance to hang out again" she admitted.

"And believe me, that's not something I wanna pass up" he assured promisingly. "In fact, it may even be easier with your help" he said like it was an offer, Signe not sure how to respond. "I could definitely use someone like you by my side" he added hopefully.

"I....uh, I don't know" she hesitantly responded. "I mean, I'm really flattered that you would want my help, but that's a big step for me" she stated nervously.

"I know, and I don't mean to ask so much of you, I really probably shouldn't be anyway" he retracted.

"No I get it, really" she assured. "But the thing is, a Wiishu is someone who can grant wishes, depending on what they are, heal people and even use our powers to protect them, or ourselves" she informed. "But we usually stay hidden, cos if the world knew about us, well I'm sure you know all about that" she informed.

"That I do" Jack concluded, having had is full share of people who didn't really see him as a superhero.

"Plus, there's very few of us left, and I haven't needed to be one in a long while now" she continued. "Coming back to this and revealing myself, I'm not sure if I'm ready for that" she explained.

"Hey it's fine, I can understand why, and I promise I won't ever force you to do so either" Jack declared. "But look, you should never hafta fear being you and doing good things, or what the world may think" he noted importantly. "So if you ever do decide to do so, I'll by right by you the whole time" he declared again, even much more promisingly now.

Now Signe could've sworn she was about to tear up a little, even giving Jack a grateful peck on the lips, which caught him by surprise. "I'll keep that in mind" she smiled.

All Jack could do was smile and nod back. Signe looked as if she was about to leave, until Jack had a thought. "Oh hey, by the way, you said you also used ur gifts for protection" he brought that back up. "Protection from what?" Signe hesitated for a moment, not sure if even Jack would believe this.

"Demons" she answered, surprising Jack.

"You too?"

"Yea, there's actually lots-wait, what do you mean me too?" she wondered.

"Um, you might want to sit down" Jack instructed, and then was once again having to tell his story.

"So you know all about them now?" Signe asked after Jack gave her the full story.

"Yes, and I've been trying to find my own one ever since" Jack nodded.

"Those evil twin ones, you'd be surprised at how common those are" she informed. "And believe me when I say, they are arguably the most dangerous" she duely added.

"Do you have any idea how I can stop him?" he asked with a hopeful glint in him, but sure he knew the answer.

"I wish I did, but each one is different, or has something different" she regretfully replied.

"What about what he might be up to? Any ideas on that?" he continued, and the Danish girl took a minute to think.

"Let me look through some old stuff, I'll see what I come up with" she replied with a confident nod.

"Sounds good" he smirked.

"Oh and...call me, when you catch this Billy Kermen, please" she requested.

"It'll be the first thing I do" he nodded. "And I promise I won't almost get myself killed again" he added with a smirking and giggled.

"Much obliged" she smirked back, only not in a joking or laughing matter. She stoof from the couch with her purse, and was followed by Jack to escort her out.

"Hey uh, thanx" Jack shyly said once they were at the door.

"For what, the kiss?" now she was smirking like he was.

"Uh, well, uh" Jack was at a lost for words, making her laugh. "I mean yea, sure, but for everything at that matter" he was able to clarify. "You saving my life and now helping me, just... everything"

Signe smirked at his statement. "You too Sean" she smiled, and then averted her gaze to hide her blush as she made her way out.

"Damn I am in love" he sighed.
