The trip to Lord Acacia's mansion is long and boring. I played on my fiddle a lot but half way there it went terribly off key and I had to teach myself how to tune it.
"What are you doing back there?!" My mother asks loudly. "It sounds terrible!"
"I'm tuning my fiddle!" I answer
Suddenly the cart hit a rock and my fiddle flew out of my hand and into the long grass.
"Stop the cart!" I yell.
"Why?" My father ,mother , and brother ask in unison.
"My fiddle fell off the cart!" I say panicked "I have to go get it!"
"Alright," my mother says a little bit worried. "Go get it but be careful!"
I hop from the cart as it slows to a stop. I walk into the grass toward the spot where I saw my fiddle fall.
I can see it! I run towards it ,but then a creature snatches it up.
"Oh, no!" I gasp. In front of me is an enormous rat.

My heart falls. I don't know if I'm getting that back. In the paws of the monster ,it sings to me (well more like screams but sings sounds more poetic and makes more sense).
Help! It 'sings' get me out of here!
I decide to listen to its advice. Well it's not really advice it's just a fiddle asking me to rescue It from a rat.
I put on my brave face and leap up and scream out my battle cry.
"BBAAARKISSOAWESOME#3!!!" I cry (it's my username for everything!). I leap into its little paws and snatch the fiddle away.
"That was easy!" I mumble. I immediately take my words back.
"AAGHHHHHHH!" I scream as as the rat runs after me. I hear clomping foot steps and see my father run out of the grass toward the rat. He charges toward it his head down like he's going to head butt the rat.
"DON'T YOU DARE HURT MY SON!!!!!" He screams. It's not exactly a battle cry but It'll do.
As he charges towards it I know what he's going to do. He skewers the beast with his pointy head. But with the last bit of its life the rat slashes out at dad and I hear him grunt in pain. He withdraws his head from the beasts torso and collapses on the ground. I rush to his side, there's a gash from his shoulder all the way across his abdomen.
"MUM!" I yell.
