Two days later
Lizzie's POV
I have not seen Joel since the coffee shop fiasco. I still get upset about my breakup. I left the room and went for a walk. At one point, I heard someone say my name. Joel came over to me. I gave him a hug.
Joel's POV
I began talking to lizzie. I felt so bad for her. We both sat down on a bench. I asked her if she was doing okay. She said that she was.
Three weeks later
Lizzie's POV
I was getting over the breakup. Soon my phone buzzed.
J: u busy?
L: no
J: wanna catch a movie?
L: sure
We quit texting and I got ready to see Joel.
At the movies
We arrived and decided on the movie. After the movie, we went for a walk. I was talking about something when suddenly, I caught Joel staring at me. I stopped talking. Without any warning, I felt his lips pressed against my own. I jumped back, startled. "What did you just do?" I asked. "I don't know what got into me." Joel said. "It's fine." I said. We both headed home. That night, I was confused.
