Young Izuku is on his way to becoming a Hero. He had one more year of high school left before officially getting his hero license. But this long road didn't come without set backs. For starters the girl he dated and his first crush cheated on him with a guy from a different class. It had broke his heart but it was the needed push for him to chase his passion. The girl was Uraraka Ochako, needless to say he was beyond surprised about what she did. Although  he did save on a plane ticket to America, for his first races at the Horizon Festival, and having to buy her a gift as well. Don't get him wrong he was still angry and sad but that's why he still had his car. The car is a 1968 Ford Shelby GT500, he had found as an old run down junker that didn't have an engine. He took it home fixed it up and got it running again when he was only 14.

When he turned 15 is when he first actually got his license to drive, but he didn't just like driving. He started to race in legal races, and made a name for himself. He had a natural instinct for racing, he usually would finish in the top 3 in every race. Now Inko was scared at first when Izuku first told her what he wanted to do. Inko went to Young Izukus first race and was surprised and memorised by his driving. To her Izuku looked like he was at home, weaving in and out of other cars, drifting around every corner, driving with such grace and poise. Even though he was attending UA, his mom still allowed him to race since it was his outlet, his other passion, his time to be selfish. Izuku also let All Might and the rest of UA's teacher's in on his secret passion. They were against it at first, until Inko told them that she approved of his racing since Izuku didn't drive recklessly. Within his first year of High School Izuku became famous by going by the name of Izzy. His name got spread around so much that the Horizon Festival host/sponser/racer traveled to Japan and Invited him to Horizon Festival. Izuku was 16 when he was invited to the Festival. Izuku was hesitant at first, but the final push came after his very loud break up with his ex, he steered cleared of her and the table she would sit at. Almost all of the girls and guys in 1-A ignored and disliked Uraraka after what she did to poor Deku. Uraraka was shunned, and everyone was worried about Izuku because of how depressed he was. Inko was furious with Uraraka for betraying her son. Izuku stayed home on school day and worried everyone. Momo decided to go check on Izuku and dropped by his house. Inko let her in after momo explained what she wanted to do. She cheered izuku up, and when Izuku asked her if he should take up a once in a life time opportunity and she told him to jump on it. So he gladly accepted the invitation and traveled to The US for the Festival directly after Summer Camp ended( A/n the attack on the camp never happened and everything went according to plan). After camp his class wanted to hangout together and really wanted Izuku to come along, but he refused because he already had other plans. He didn't tell them he was going to the Horizon festival though, he said that him and his mom were planning on going out of town. Once Izuku was able to get his class off his back, Izuku packed his clothes, said goodbye to All Might, hoped in his car with his mom and drove to the airport to get on the Horizon Festival plan that would take him and his car to the US. Izuku was a beast on the course, he showed everyone his skill, courage, and his car. He won the US Muscle car Championship, Modern Muscle Car Championship, and the Hypercar Championship. Through the course of the festival which lasted 3 months Izuku meet people with that shared his love and passion for vehicles. Made a lot of friends and they traveled together when ever the Festival went to a different city. What made his first Horizon Festval even better is that his Mom got to spend it with him. His mom even bought him one of his favorite pieces of clothing, his beanie. (A/N Izuku decided to reinvent his dress wear, when at home and racing he likes to wear Urban Pool clothing. He usually wears a grey or black short sleeve shirt, black or blue slim fit jean's, black converses, a black beanie and a read and black flannel. Or he will wear a grey long sleeve shirt with black sleeves. He even cut his hair like this.)

On the inside of the beanie his mom had stitched a tag into the beanie that read You're my hero. That's his most valuable possession and he wouldn't trade it in for anything. When izuku returned to school after the Festival the class was surprised by the huge change in personality. He no longer stuttered and had this air of confidence. Over the course of their second school year Izuku and Momo grew very close. They hung out together at lunch and after school,  Izuku even showed Momo his Shelby which no other class mates had that privilege. The duo began to develop feelings for each other. Izuku was now 17 and his second year of UA was coming to a close. Since it's coming to a close that means the next Horizon Festival will be starting soon, and Izuku has been invited again and is allowed to bring a few friends. He knew All Might would like to see Izuku race but his Mom had to work so he began to contemplate of he should invite Momo.
'She has been by my side since it happened. Not only that but she has been very open to me while I haven't told her anything about my racing.' Izuku thought to himself as he began to pack his stuff since school was released. He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice Momo walk up to him. She immediately noticed that her best friend was in deep thought and decided to scare the green haired teenager. She snuck up behind Izuku, quickly pulled him into her arms, brought her head next to his ear said very loudly, "What are you thinking about Izuku?"
Young Midoriya almost jumped until he heard Momo's voice. He than relaxed and replied, "Hey Momo, there's something I need to tell you and something I have to ask you."
Not generally my style to leave stories on a cliff hanger but been sittin on this for awhile till finally I was just like fock it. Anyway hope ya enjoyed, leave a comment on what I should do to fix this chapter and ideas for future chapter.
