Was it worth it ? Part 1

The man walked along the dirt path as the large sun poured its rays of light atop his messy hair. The man wasn't very tall and only had recently turned twenty, but he had years of experience under his belt. A short sword was tucked into an iron sheath and fastened against his leather belt. Small light brown, leather shoes protected his feet from the elements and covering his torso was a white dress shirt and bright green vest. Izuku smiled as he walked pass a familiar pub and the expression tugged at the many freckles littered across his cheeks.

Izuku Midoryia had finally made it home, but he wasn't sure what to do. He had left four years ago and he had changed so much. He wasn't the same boy dreaming to save the kingdom, no he had done it. The path was a long one, but he felt accomplished. He met many amazing people along the way and learned from his Idol Yagi Toshinori, but something was missing. He didn't feel whole once he stepped inside the village he once lived in.

Izuku walked down the street and stopped as he stood outside of a bakery. The man's stomach growled and he obeyed the beast and opened the wooden door. The door creaked as Deku opened it and Izuku grinned at the sight. The place was quite cozy and many attractive breads rested in a glass case. Midoryia took steps towards the counter and looked around for anyone. There was no sign of life so Izuku cupped his hands around his mouth and asked,"Is anyone there ?"

The only response Midoryia received was a loud crash. Izuku instinctively leaped over the old, wooden counter and rushed to find the source. On the ground was an older woman with short, brown hair. The man placed two strong hands on the women's waist and helped her up. Deku then worryingly asked the woman,"Are you okay? Did you hurt yourself?"

The lady smiled and laughed at him."I'm okay young man, nothin' I can't handle." The woman then looked up at the man and almost cried."Izuku !"

Midoryia was perplexed at first but then he realized who he had just ran into."Mrs. Uraraka ! How have you been ?"

The older woman let out a sigh."Not well."

.....

Izuku sat at the small round table with a glass of water from the well out back in hand. The man bit  into the bread the woman had just made and then sipped the cool beverage." W-Where's your husband? I remember you two always talked about opening this shop and he was the most passionate about it."

The brown-eyed woman sitting across from Izuku broke down into tears. Midoryia quickly placed his scarred hand over her's and tried to comfort her."W-What happened."

Mrs. Uraraka looked up and wiped a tear from her face. The woman sniffled as she spoke."H-He passed two years ago."

Izuku's emerald eyes locked with her's."I'm so sorry." Izuku then took a gulp."If you don't mind me asking, how did he pass ?"

The short-haired woman took a deep breath as she tried to regain her composure."It was two years ago on a terrible night. The wind was howling and the rain poured down like never before. Me,him, and...Ochaco were inside the house when the door caved in."

Izuku heart ached at the mention of Ochaco. She had been his best friend in the village although he was born without any magical powers.

"After the door came down terrifying men rushed inside and tired to take Ochaco. M-My husband stepped in and handled three of them, b-but there was too many and they overwhelmed him. H-He died tryin' to protect our daughter."

An angry expression began to morph across Izuku's face, but before he did anything he had to ask the most important question of his life."What happened to Ochaco ?"

The woman placed a hand over her mouth as she spoke."T-They took her !" The tears then began to pour out of the woman's eyes even faster than before.

Midoryia stood up and turned to walk out of the shop, but a weak hand wrapped around his wrist."What are you doin' ?"

Izuku's voice was cold as he asked,"Where did they take her ?"

"To Peklo."

Izuku slid his thumb over the handle of his blade and said," Let go please, because I've got to go."

"Y-You're not goin' to try and get her back are you ! It's far too dangerous !"

Izuku looked down at the woman and smiled ."Don't tell me you think I left for four years just to not learn anything ?"

"O-One man can't take down a whole army !"

"It's not about killing them, it's about bring Uraraka back. She doesn't deserve to be a slave in a hell hole like Peklo."

The widow let go of Izuku and watched as he stomped out of the shop and left to bring home the woman that he longed for all those years ago.

I like really want to write a fantasy Izuocha story, but I don't know if ya'll would like that.
