"I apologise for this unannounced interrogation. Please believe me when I say that we wouldn't have taken things this far unless absolutely necessary. I hope you understand the gravity of the situation and help us solve this case before it's too late" Nezu apologized sincerely while bowing to the staff. Aizawa had also bowed in apology.

Nemuri and Hizashi shook their heads while the rest of the staff sighed. "Nezu, Aizawa, this isn't your fault. No one blames you" Chiyo assured.

Vlad rose up from his chair "I agree. As pro heroes with experience, you have all the right to suspect us and we are happy you did. Otherwise, it would be considered being biased on the basis of blind trust"

"Kan's right" Midnight added "stop apologising. We can understand just how important and troublesome it is for you"

"Besides, you guys have taken the test along with us" Snipe said.

"Nezu-san, Aizawa-kun, you did your job so rest assured, we don't blame you. Please don't apologise" All- Skinny Might assured softly.

Satisfied that none among the staff was a traitor, the trio- Aizawa, Nezu and Tsukauchi- moved back to their office.

Todoroki had left a few minutes ago to wait for further instructions. Unfortunately for a certain ash blonde, Izuku ended up talking to Shouto about Katsuki and to say that Shouto was furious would be an understatement. Although, Izuku made him promise not to speak of this at all and that he didn't want anything to do with Katsuki.

"I sent Shouto-kun back to the dorms. I didn't want to make him look suspicious"

The adults nodded and sat down. "The staff is clean, Izuku-kun. That leaves us with the students"

"Vlad says it's better to question both 1-A and 1-B because he had discussed with his class that we were going to the USJ" Aizawa said with a sigh "I hope we don't mess things up"

Izuku nodded and looked at Tsukauchi "Tsukauchi-san, I want you to interrogate me as well because it wouldn't be fair if you didn't"

"But-"

Tsukauchi was cut off by a glare from Aizawa. Though the sleep deprived hero didn't like not trusting Izuku, he knew the greenette was right. After the interrogation, which obviously turned out clean, Izuku looked at the teachers curiously.

"The students are in the dorms… where are we going to interrogate them?"

"I'll ask Iida to gather everyone in the gym. Nezu, please ask Hound Dog to accompany us. He might be able to help us just in case"

The Chimera nodded and dialed up the resident Therapist while Aizawa called Iida.

"Why do you think Sensei called for us at this time?" Mina asked no one in particular as she walked with her squad.

Kirishima shrugged at her question "Maybe for training?"

"Shut up, extras!" Bakugou groaned "we aren't in your goddamn uniforms or hero suits!"

"Sensei asked us to gather at such a short notice, that too on a Sunday, kero. I think it's serious"

Uraraka nodded while Todoroki just walked silently with them.

"I sense darkness in the air. Some mystery will be unraveled by the curious antics of fate and time"

"Eheh… Mayyybe you should stop talking in dark riddles, Tokoyami" Denki said with a nervous chuckle.

The teens entered the spacious gym and waited for Aizawa to show up. A few minutes later, the door opened and to their surprise, Aizawa entered the room, followed by a slightly nervous looking greenette. What was more surprising was the fact that Nezu was sitting on the greenette's shoulder and looking through some..... notebooks? Hound Dog was a few steps behind them, scanning the students.

Katsuki's eyes immediately fell on the green haired boy and an unknown emotion took over his senses. He hadn't seen Izuku since he left Aldera and the greenette didn't even show up for the entrance exam. What had happened in this time? How the heck did whiny little Deku get into UA. What in the world was he doing with the Rat and the hobo? All the utter confusion just made him want to punch the boy in question and so he charged.

"DEKUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

Izuku just watched with a deadpan expression as the blonde approached, ready to strike him to the ground. Unfortunately for him, a wall of ice showed up out of nowhere, making Katsuki slip on the path and hit the wall face first. Aizawa blinked and deactivated his quirk while Nezu cackled. Izuku sighed and shook his head before peering around the huge ice wall.

"Shouto-kun!" He chirped with a dangerous smile.

The dual quirk user obeyed the underlying command and immediately used his fire to melt the ice. The others were surprised because Todoroki never uses his fire. They were even more surprised that the stoic teen knew the adorable greenette.

Bakugou sprang up from his position and turned to face Shouto, rage evident in his eyes. "WHAT THE HECK, ICYHOT?! DO YOU WANNA DIE?!"

"No. Do you?" The heterochromatic eyed teen asked coldly, daring him to do something stupid.

Katsuki did understand the underlying threat but he was no coward. He marched towards Shouto and was about to blast his face when Aizawa erased his quirk. Izuku slowly walked towards Shouto whose collar was held in Katsuki's fist. The ash blonde proceeded to punch Shouto's face or at least he tried. A firm of grabbed his wrist and his wide ruby eyes met with the cold Sacramento depths.

"Please refrain from punching my friend, Bakugou"

In shock, the ash blonde stepped back and Izuku turned to smile brightly at the rest of the class who sweatdropped.

"Midoriya-kun!" Uraraka greeted cheerfully while Iida and Tsu smiled at him.

"Uraraka-san, Asui-san, Iida-kun! Hii!!" The greenette chirped cutely.

"WHAT THE HELL? HOW DOES ROUND FACE KNOW DEKU?!"

"Stop calling him that. His name is Izuku" Shouto hissed.

"Ah, Bakugou-kun" Nezu said, hopping down from Aizawa's shoulder where he had shifted to when Bakugou started approaching them. "I see you know Izuku-kun"

The blonde at least had the minimum sense to not try and act smart before the infamous RatSatan himself.

Izuku froze. Of course Nezu would know!

The Chimera walked towards Bakugou and held up a notebook, "Would you, perhaps, explain this?"

Both Bakugou and Izuku literally turned to stone. There, in Nezu's paws, was the same book which the ash blonde had so mercilessly blasted away. Katsuki couldn't articulate a single word in both shock and fear.

"N-Nezu-san!" Izuku exclaimed in surprise.

The Chimera threw a sinister grin at the freckled teen before proceeding, "Bakugou Katsuki… you attended Aldera Junior High, same as Izuku-kun, right?"

"Nezu-san! H-how?" Izuku asked in surprise. As far as he could remember, he hadn't revealed about his school at all.

"It's not hard to piece things together when your quirk is literally High Specs, Izuku-kun" Nezu answered while looking at Katsuki. "Your quirk is Explosion, isn't it Bakugou Katsuki? You bullied him"

Everyone followed Nezu's outstretched hand to see Izuku. Aizawa was seething in rage and stepped forward to wrap Katsuki up in his scarf. Loking at the ash blonde in the eyes, the sleep deprived teacher ground his teeth, "UA has no place for bullies, Bakugou. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't expel you right here and right now"

Izuku sighed and rubbed his forehead "Aizawa-san, we have other important things to do right now. Besides, I don't think I want anything to do with Bakugou. So please let's just get things done quickly"

Aizawa narrowed his eyes but nodded nevertheless. "We are going to talk about this, Bakugou. Until then, stay away from my son"

"YOUR WHAT?!" Most of the class yelled in unison.

"Irrelevant"

"Izuku-kun here is my personal student and Aizawa-kun's unofficial and unadopted son. He is helping us in investigating this case since his intelligence is almost on par with mine. Any questions?"

"....."

"Alright" the Chimera smiled and explained the detective's quirk and that he wants to interrogate the students. He also explained that every student has to wear quirk cancelling cuffs to eliminate influences, if any. A few students showed disappointment in the sudden suspicion but Hound Dog explained to them that it was the last measure. Iida and Yaoyorozu convinced the class to help the teachers out and the others complied.

Tsukauchi asked each student a set of questions to determine their innocence. In the end, Izuku, Nezu and Aizawa together apologised for the suspicion but Iida and Kirishima assured them that they didn't need to apologise. Bakugou just grumbled incoherent profanities under his breath, earning several glares.

All of a sudden, the doors to the gym burst open and a panting Hawks rushed in. The students stared in surprise and awe as the No.3 hero walked towards them.

"Keigo-nii?"

"I found the lab"
