"A-All Might!" Izuku jumped to his feet and immediately tackled the buff blonde in a hug, which surprised all the conscious occupants of the room.

"Uhm… Young Midoriya?"

Izuku pulled back and sniffled slightly "T-thank you for s-saving Aizawa-san and Shouto-kun"

Slightly surprised by the events, All Might sighed and wrapped his arms around the small greenette, pulling him into another embrace "It was my duty, young Midoriya. I've wronged you and acted like an idiot. The least I can do is ensure your happiness lasts forever"

Izuku grinned adorably and extended his hand to the taller "I forgive you. Let's start afresh. Hello, I'm Izuku"

All Might couldn't help the moisture seeping through his eyes and extended his hand as well "Yagi Toshinori. Pleased to meet you, Young Izuku"

Shouto, the silent spectator, eyed them curiously before Izuku facepalmed and started to explain what had happened, leaving the parts of the quirk out. Yagi didn't mind because he trusted the young Todoroki with his secret skinny form. Needless to say, the dual quirk user was shocked beyond belief to see All Might deflating.

"I don't think I appreciate you discouraging Izuku but since everything is alright between you two and he has already forgiven you, so I have no qualms. I assure you that your secret is safe with me and that Endeavour will not get to know about it"

All Might smiled in his skinny form but frowned soon "Young Todoroki, if you don't mind, can you tell me what Endeavour has been doing to you? I've seen Young Izuku term him as an abuser in the group chat. You are free to deny if you aren't comfortable with it"

Shouto thought for a few moments before shrugging. He then proceeded to tell All Might everything about Endeavour, earning a comforting hug from the elder while Izuku sat sniffling with a box of tissues in his hand.

"I never knew," All Might admitted with a sigh "I thought he was very competitive but I never would have imagined that he was using you as a weapon to surpass me. In one way or the other, I am responsible for what you and your family have been through. So, I apologise for everything and I hope you'll forgive me, Young Todoroki"

Shouto stared at the No.1 hero with wide eyes and shook his head "There's nothing to forgive you for, All Might. Several heroes aspire to surpass you yet not everyone creates weapons to do so. It was Endeavour's fault that my family had to suffer so you are not to be blamed. Also, you can call me Shouto. I don't think I like the name Todoroki anymore"

Izuku smiled happily as his best friend and All Might got along. Now he had to wait for Aizawa to wake up. As time passed, Yagi offered to drop Izuku home since Hawks wasn't available. The walk was silent and comfortable.

Kitten: When Nezu-san told me about Aizawa-san and Thirteen-san, I couldn't just sit at home.

SupportKing: That's sweet.

BloodLord: Indeed. You're a good kid.

RatSatan: Hello, Izuku-kun.

Kitten: Hello, Nezu-san!

RatSatan: Would you, perhaps, be willing to assist me with the investigation. I'm sure you would like to find out who is responsible for this.

Kitten: Yes!
Kitten: When should I come over?

Goddess: Dearie, Aizawa is awake now.

Kitten: Nevermind, Nezu-san.

Izuku rushed into Recovery Girl's office and tackled Aizawa into a hug, earning a slight wince from the mummy-looking teacher.

"Dad!!" Izuku yelled, squeezing the man a little with tears in his eyes.

The pain was forgotten as Aizawa heard the golden word slip through his son's mouth. With a deep chuckle, the elder used his non-bandaged arm to ruffle the kid's hair, tucking his head under his chin. Izuku knew he had accidentally called Aizawa dad but he did NOT regret it.

"I was so s-scared! I t-thought I-"

"I'm alright, Izuku. I'm safe" Aizawa mumbled. He never knew how he went from hating every single brat to loving the cheeky little brat in his arms and he did not wish to dwell on it.

A few minutes later, Izuku and Aizawa headed to Nezu's office where All Might was already present.

"Hello, Izuku-kun" Nezu greeted cheerfully "I apologise for calling for you at such a short notice but I would like your assistance in this case"

"It's alright, Nezu-san!" Izuku exclaimed cheerfully "I do want to know who even dared to attack the people I love"

All Might shuddered slightly at the cold undertone of Izuku's voice. The duo took their seats and started discussing the USJ attack.

"So, this Shigaraki guy is the boss, his assistant (?) is a warp gate and he has a biologically engineered mutation with multiple quirks called nomu. All of them are related to All For One, the guy who All Might killed and now, Shigaraki is out for revenge….. Did I get it right so far?" Izuku asked, tapping the pen on his chin..

"Indeed. Although, I suspect there are more out there. Shigaraki must have members in his team or is trying to gather them"

"Then we should stop him before he could do that. If he gathers more members, not to forget more powerful quirks, we might be at a disadvantage. I would suggest an ambush but we need to be wary of their quirks"

Nezu nodded and flipped a page from his file "From what I could gather, Shigaraki's quirk is Decay- a five-point contact quirk. He has the ability to decay anything he touches but clearly, he hasn't yet improved it beyond the basic stage. The person with the warping quirk is called Kurogiri. Quirk: Warp gate and that's self explanatory. About the Nomu… it's quite horrible. The creature was initially human as scientists discovered from its DNA-"

"Turning humans into mutations by injecting quirk inducing drugs.. DNA manipulation… no, maybe combining several- oh my god" Izuku breathed, realising just how horrible it was. Nezu nodded sympathetically while All Might and Aizawa stared in horror.

"I suggest we look into it as soon as possible. The Nomu we have captured might not be the only one and the more then are produced, the more helpless we would be considering how it was able to withstand All Might's attacks. We should find the factory or laboratory of their origin soon" Izuku nodded at Nezu's words "In the meantime, All Might wanted to talk to you about something"

The skinny blonde straightened as did Aizawa. The sleep deprived hero glared holes into All Might's skull.

"Young Mi- Izuku, please hear me out completely" All Might requested "I haven't been an ideal hero to you in a while, seeing as how I crushed your dreams that day. I was scared.. scared that I would be responsible for your death in the future. I've seen how heroes with formidable quirks have lost their lives on the field. I myself have had near death experiences in my initial patrols as well as till date and you've seen the result of one such endeavour. To fight a powerful enemy without a quirk seemed to be a suicide mission in my view. Maybe I was so lost in the logical factor of things that I forgot my origin. My mentor passed her quirk onto me because I had the will to risk my life to save people even though I was quirkless. Even if she hadn't given me One For All, I would have tried to become a hero even if it killed me. A hero's job is risky but I ignored the fact that every hero's job is the same irrespective of their quirk. What the world needs is a true hero who would save people no matter what. I've seen you do that. You didn't even care about your safety that day- " Aizawa's ears sharpened and body tensed "- I know you have the heart of a true hero and I once again apologize for being an ignorant fool. Young Izuku, I would like to ask you again, will you accept my power, One For All and lead the next generation of heroes towards a better tomorrow? I will be happy to know that this quirk will be passed on to someone worthy, someone pure. But if you choose not to accept it, I'll still be happy for you because I believe your spirit will always guide you into the path of a true hero. Please take all the time you need, Young Izuku"

Izuku stayed silent for a few tense moments. Aizawa glanced at his son then at Nezu, who appeared just as tense, and an equally stiff All Might.

"All Might" Izuku broke the silence "I appreciate your kind words and am glad you've realised your mistake. I have forgiven you already. But.. I'm sorry, All Might, I have to deny your quirk. I want to become the first quirkless hero to prove to people that anyone can become a hero- quirk, no quirk, so-called villainous or weak quirks. I cannot do that by standing on the top with a Powerful quirk, it would be like taunting their capabilities. I want to set an example for everyone so that no one is discriminated against or termed as Villains. Thank you for trusting me, All Might but that's my decision"

The skinny blonde stood up and embraced Izuku. "Thank you, Young Midoriya. You would make an amazing hero"

Nezu smiled in satisfaction while Aizawa was having a hard time controlling the surge of emotions. He was so darn proud of his brat. Everyone was.
