"No, Kaminari you idiot. I said turn out the lights once I tell you I'm in position." You hissed out quietly, crawling through small vents that led to a vault.

You were on a job that involved stealing. Many big league villains often hired you to steal items for them so they had some extra cash or keep their buisness running on the black market. You had a very well known rep for stealing among the heroes and police, but neither of them have caught you yet.

You like to go out on your hunts alone, but your employer today was a well known mafia boss among both the police and criminals. Shouto Todoroki was his name, and he assigned one of his men to accompany you on your mission.

"Sorry, I wasn't really listening to your plan earlier. I was too distracted by your beauty." Kaminari flirted making you roll your eyes and suck in a breath of air to keep yourself from cursing the electric blonde out.

".....Kaminari.... Shut. Up. This is a serious job. We're stealing from Izuku Midoriya's vault--"

"Yeah, he's the bosses biggest rival. The freckled bastard won't even know what hit him once we steal his stuff--"

"You mean when I steal his stuff."

"Yeah, yeah. Sure."

You rolled your eyes again and stopped crawling once you reached your destination. Light showed through the small slits of the vent, illuminating your face in an orange glow. You peered through, and smirked at the two guards on watch in front of the locked vault. The vault you needed to get into.

"When will we be switching out? I wanna get a beer." One guard said, fiddling with the gun in his hands.

"Soon man, don't complain though. You know what the boss will do if he hears that shit come out of your mouth." The other guard responded, making his partner shudder in fear.

The smirk immediately left your lips and was replaced with a frown.

Had Izuku really become this scary?

You shook your head and with quick and careful hands, you reached into the pouch attached to your waist and pulled out a screwdriver.

The past is the past, no time to think about it now.

You then started to unscrew the screws in the venatalation panel.

"Kaminari, once you blow out the lights, I'll have at least 5 minutes before Midoriya's men are able to get everything back up and running. If I don't meet you back by the rendezvous point 10 minutes after the lights go out, leave. Don't risk getting caught."

"I can't just leave yo--"

"You can, and you will."

"You're not giving me a choice are you?"

"No."

I heard Kaminari sigh over the earpiece I wore.

"Fine, but boss won't like it. He might start the war early with Midoriya just to rescue your ass if you get caught."

I rolled my eyes again and finished my unscrewing.

"Well, he'll just find a corpse when he gets here." I put my screwdriver back in its place and pulled the vents panel up and behind me. I positioned my body so I jumped out of the small hole feet first. My small hands placed themselves on the vent walls and I created two electric rods. They usually stun my opponents long enough so I can knock them out.

"Okay Kaminari, blow the lights out in 3.....2.....1.....now!" Once I gave the blonde the go, the lights under me immediately went out and I jumped through the hole. I landed gracefully on the cold ground and launched myself at one of the guards.

"What the hell? What happAAAAAHHHH!!" I thrust the rod forward and electrocuted the first guard. His body spasmed uncontrollably as his partner aimed his gun into the darkness.

"Yo! Why are you screamAGHHHHHHHH!!!!" I quickly thrust my other rod out, and hit the other guards neck. Both of their bodies hit the ground once I pulled away and I gave them blows to the head with my fists, just so they stayed knocked out.

"Easy...." I mumbled out before walking up to the vaults locked, metal door. I scanned the panel placed right next to the door and sighed.

"A hand scanner, hmm, this is also easy." I quickly walked up to the device and kneeled down to rip out the paneling under it. Inside was a space full of colorful wires. I immediately went for my tool pouch and pulled out all the tools I needed. My hands then went to work.

"Cut here, and here. Tie these two together aaaaaaaaand done!" I pushed the wires back into place and placed my hand on the scanner. A white light scanned my hand two times before glowing green and slowly opened the vault door.

I pumped my fists and slipped inside the vault.

"Kaminari, I'm in. I have about..." I glanced down at the watch on my wrist and mentally cursed to myself. "Two more minutes before the lights come back on. Hopefully I'll meet up with you soon."

"Alright, Be careful Chieko."

"I will."

My eyes scanned the space around me. The room was filled with jewels, gold, books and plans, weapon plans. Just the thing you came looking for. I smirked and jogged up to the table that had stacks of paper.

"You're making weapons for your quirkless men....smart." I grabbed a nearby folder and started collecting the papers. Halfway through my collecting, my cat ears twitched and I ducked under the table with the folder in hand just as the lights came back on.

"Crap...." I mumbled, also hearing footsteps getting closer to the vault.

I crawled deeper into the room, staying ducked down so I wouldn't be caught.

"Ahhh, silly silly thief.." I halted all movements and my eyes widened in shock.

That voice.....Izuku.....

"Hacking into your comms system was almost too easy. I know you're in here, (Y/N)."

My grip on the folder got tighter and tighter as I bit my lip to keep my mouth shut.

He knew....he knew we were here the entire time...

"Sir, these two are knocked out cold. What do you want us to do?"

I slowly, and carefully took a peek at the vaults entrance. Standing there at the exit was Izuku. He had his body turned away from me to look at a tall blue haired man wearing glasses.

He hasn't changed at all....

Izuku still had his fluffy green hair and symmetrical freckles. But his body shape definitely changed. He was taller and a bit lean. I couldn't really see them, but I could tell that he had defined muscles under his white under shirt and black vest. He sported a red tie, and black gloves on his hands. His legs were covered by fitted black pants and he no longer wore his red shoes, black ones took its place.

DON'T FREAKING CHECK HIM OUT (Y/N)!!!

I ducked back down and slowly started to create a knife with my right hand.

"Make sure that our guest didn't do serious damage to their brains. Leave me here, close and lock the vault behind you on your way out."

I froze up again at his words and held the folder filled with paper close to my chest.

N-No....I need to get out of here!!

Just as I finished that thought, I heard the vaults door close, leaving me and the mafia boss inside. I heard him start walking deeper into the vault and I quickly crawled away to find another hiding spot.

"I'm not surprised you're here, (Y/N). But seriously, you're working under that icy-hot bastard." Izuku chuckled darkly making a chill go down my spine. "Honestly, I'm hurt knowing you work for him." He continued.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and slowly took another peek out into the room. My cat eyes scanned left and right, trying to spot the greenette anywhere.

"Found you~"

I gasped loudly feeling arms wrap around my waist and Izuku's lips pressed lightly against my ear. I tried to maneuver myself around to stab him but he caught my wrist and pinned me down to the floor. He held both of my wrists together with one hand while the other took my knife away from me. He examined the sharp object for a minute or two before throwing it over his shoulder without a care. I heard the metal crash against the ground as Izuku stared down at me with his captivating green eyes.

"I'm a little disappointed, I expected you to be a bit more feisty, (Y/N)." He said, lightly trailing his gloved fingers up and down my cheek.

"Go to hell." I responded.

"Ah, there's the (Y/N) I know." He chuckled at my glaring face before gripping my cheeks to bring me up closer to him.

"You're just as pretty as I remember. What happened to us."

"You left without a word, that's what happened." I spat out, making him frown heavily.

"Even if I stayed, we both would've ended up like this." He responded. "To the heroes and police we're just killers and theives, villains to society. We take what we want and do things our own way. You live by the same rules, (Y/N). Don't act like you're not one of us." Izuku then let my face go and stood up. He dusted himself off and leaned back down to grab the folder I had used to collect his weapon plans. At this, I also stood back up and ripped the folder right out of his hands.

"Shut up. I still have a job to do. Did you forget that." I growled out making him chuckle again.

"Right right, you work for the infamous Shouto Todoroki. And, did you forget that I absoluetly despise that man." In a flash, the folder was no longer in my hands and was back in Izuku's grip. "These aren't leaving, and neither are you." He said, placing the folders down before walking towards me. I grit my teeth and started walking backwards.

"I'm not letting you keep me here against my will."

"Don't act like you don't want to be here. You've missed my company, and I've missed yours." That's when my back hit the wall and Izuku slammed his hand next to my head, effectively trapping me. "You can work with me, we'll be partners in crime...you'll be my woman."

My cheeks flushed at his words and I looked away to avoid his intense gaze. I was attracted to Izuku, and he was attracted to me....I think....no...there's no way.

My blush immediately went away and I pushed at Izuku's chest, putting some distance between him and I.

"Don't say shit like that! Don't toy with me like you do to others!...." I gripped at my chest and looked away. "Don't......hurt me again...." I mumbled. After that, Izuku was silent, I didn't want to look back up at him. I knew if I did, it'd just hurt even more.

"You think I'm toying with you?" He questioned, but I stayed silent. I felt my cat ears flatten against my head and my tail fall limp.

"I would never do that to you." I heard him step closer to me until I saw the top of his black shoes. His gloved hands lightly gripped my shoulders, and that's when I finally looked up at him. He was frowning again as his eyes examined my face.

"I left all those years ago because my faith in heroes was completely crushed by the one who I admired the most.....All Might....." He looked down at his feet, a dazed look in his eyes.

"I hate him.....he was just like everyone else who said I'd become nothing. But, you were different." He looked back up at me, and cradled my face in his hands. "You believed in me, and encouraged me to do my best. When I left, I knew I was leaving you behind. But I didn't want to drag you into this life knowing you had a future that lead to you becoming a hero. I was surprised when I figured out you didn't go to U.A. or any hero school at all. It was like you compeletly vanished...."

At this I looked away from his gaze to stare down at my shoes.

"I....I ran off to find you. I took what ever money I had and left home. No news about you came up until a few years ago, when you were declared a villain. And by then, I was already stealing, and getting paid by other villains...I was just running, stealing, and hiding."

Izuku stayed silent, but pulled me in to hold me close. I didn't fight back this time and let the greenette hug me.

"You can stop the running and hiding, just stay here....with me." He said.

"Y-You're not messing right? You're serious?" I asked, gripping the back of his vest tightly.

His right hand started to pet the back of my head softly, like he was trying to sooth me of my fear and doubt.

"I'm serious. I want you by my side, I don't want to lose you, or leave you again."

"I.....I want to stay, but Todoroki, he'll come-"

"Let him come, the war between our two groups was going to start soon anyways. If Half n' half really wants my plans and really wants to "rescue" you, then he'll have to bring himself over here and fight for it." Izuku smirked deviously and took a few steps back to give me some space.

"So, (Y/N), will you stay here with me?" He asked, holding his hand out for me to take.

I stared at him with wide (E/C) cat eyes. I felt a tear or two roll down my cheeks and I was quick to wipe them away. Without a second thought I leaped back into Izuku's arms and held him tightly.

"O-Of course I'll stay....I've missed you...." I replied, nuzzling my head into his chest.

I felt his arms embrace me and he rested his chin on top of my head.

"I've missed you too, but now you're here." Izuku grabbed my hand and started leading me back to the entrance of the vault. "We'll show Half n' half that he's messing with the wrong group."
