The reunited friends and the new kid were driving in traffic in the RV that looked like it was about to break down. The kid was still confused about who the new guy was

The kid whispered to Harley: hey I don't mean to sound rude but who is this guy and how can we trust him, he could be after the diamond

Harley laughed it off: no he isn't after it. He's got no interest in it it doesn't work for black mask He's here for a completely different reason

The kid raised an eyebrow: and that reason would be?

Before Harley could answer The question a knife was thrown between the 2 to get them to be quiet, The two looked at the driver who didn't even turn back before he threw the knife. It was for their own good if Waller suspected that Harley revealed anything about the suicide squad she would send someone to erase the people who knew that didn't have clarification she did so before in the previous mission

Izuku: you know it's not nice to talk to someone behind their back and it's also not nice to reveal their secrets... Harley just because I'm probably going to die in about four days does not mean I can spread my backstory around

Harley pulling the knife out from the wall: okay okay I won't, geez I know you're sensitive about it there's no need to throw a knife that's dangerous

izuku turning right: said the woman that has a hyena for a pet

Harley taking offence: Hey! Bruce is cool and he wouldn't hurt a soul

Izuku: Harley, when I snuck into your room he was chewing on a persons leg

Locate looked at Harley raising an eyebrow with utter discussed and suspicion. Harley responded with: okay maybe he would hurt a few people and he wouldn't hurt any good people he's an angel. Actually come to think of it where are we going?

Upon the question in the RV stopped in front of an old warehouse, it was a relatively big building made out of concrete only two floors. It still confused the females of the group why they were there. For either anything the driver got up from his seat and walked out of the RV to follow quickly as they walk up to the warehouse

The kid looked at the plain building: we're going to hide out here from a bunch of guys Who want to cut me open and slowly torture Harley this place doesn't exactly look like A fortress

Ali agreed with the kid: I agree with a kid and also if I die in a warehouse I lose a bet so maybe we can-

Harley stopped talking as izuku opened the storage house doors and the light came on revealing what could only be described as a secret hideout. There were weapons on the walls tables with gadgets on them there was a giant computer in the corner of bunch of armoured vehicles as well custom-designed with izuku costumes colour to match

They all walked in Harley and the kid were mesmerised by everything they saw, Harley almost fainted she had never seen this many weapons before in her life and she dated the joker so that is saying something. The kid was it all, she was looking at everything in the warehouse and she started to wonder what she could steal and how much it would be worth

Izuku called out: Friday

Harley: actually today is Tuesd-

She wasn't able to finish your sentence because she was in trouble by another female voice that appeared out of nowhere: hey boss

The girls looked around to try and find where the voice came from there was no one else in the warehouse or at least they couldn't see. Izuku told them: it's an automated artificial intelligence that I created a scene practically runs the whole thing

The kid looks at izuku: runs what this warehouse?

Izuku explains: no pretty much my entire business thing I've got going

Harley gasped and her mouth was wide open from the shock: hold on hold on hold on you managed to start a business while you were in prison

Izuku: no Halle don't be ridiculous I started it before I went to prison and every so often when I break out I somewhat run it but Friday the AI I created runs it while I'm in prison

Harley still confused about the whole thing: so let me make sure I've got this absolutely correct you have been running a business of what exactly while you were in prison

izuku nodded casually like it was no big thing: well yes kind of I mean it's not really a business it's more of investing, Friday has an algorithm in her that allows her to be able to tell what in demand for a given time even into the future then she uses a bit of money that I allow her to have access to to invest it when that business side flourishes we get some of the payback. I mean I also do other things like created some medical equipment then sell them to hospitals which surprisingly get to a lot of money on and among other things so pretty much this is just one of my multitude of warehouses across the world each one contains a bit of my arsenal of weapons

Harley still in shock: I thought you said that you didn't exactly come from money how could you possibly have enough to build that Friday thingy and enough to invest. Did you rob a bank or something?

Izuku: no I got my money the old fashion way I worked for it sure it took nearly 2 years to get enough money to build Friday and to get enough money to invest took another year and a half hours but I finally had enough and that's when it all set off

The kid, looking around the giant warehouse: i'm just gonna go looking around see ya

Izuku told her while she was walking away: try to take anything out of this warehouse with out my knowledge the self defence sequence will activate and you will be shot on site with a disintegrate a bullet that I created it will dissolve your insides and you will be dead within minutes so keep that in mind and keep your hands in your pockets please

She flinched but continued walking around looking at everything leaving Harley and her old friend alone to talk

Harley decided to be the first one to speak: sssssoooo Lauren must really want me dead if she sent you

Izuku nodded: yeah apparently you really pissed her off

Harley: but you're not gonna kill me so why isn't the big bad Waller blowed your head off. oh! did you do the Houdini trick again

Izuku shakes his head: Nope not this time so I was able to get rid of the tracker she had on me which I'm pretty sure was also a listening device, I attached it onto one of the thugs I injured so now she thinks I'm walking around town looking for you of course when this weeks over if she's gonna realise that I haven't killed you yet and blow my head off

Harley: okay so what are you gonna do to get that nasty bum out of your head?

Izuku: there isn't anything I can do Harley it's placed very close to my spine and I don't know how to properly remove it if I try to do anything I might end up paralysed or get myself killed

Harley: so what that's it then I'm just going to lay down and let your head get blown off!

Izuku shakes his head: no I'm going to do something good before I die which right now I'm thinking he's taking down this new guy black mask any idea what he's after the kid

Harley chuckled a bit: oh now that's a funny story is he she pickpocketed the wrong person and ended up with a diamond and then she got arrested and in her mind it was a good idea to eat the diamond

izuku look at her and examined her words and expression see if she was lying but she wasn't he realised that pretty soon: she ate a diamond? Well alright whatever, what's the important about this diamond anyway I mean I know diamonds are rare but you don't usually send this many people for a diamond you can probably swallow if it was bigger I would understand

Harley: well apparently it's got some secret code to it and that has a connection to an old crime family that was killed after years ago and you get the diamond you get a chunk of change and an entire crime families fortune now that's a lot of dough

Izuku beginning to get the story: okay so someone's managed to place a bank code onto a diamond and the kids managed to swallow the diamond yep that's definitely a motive for all this trouble. Of course it's kind of stupid when you think about it I mean who puts their family fortunes code on a diamond? I mean how silly is that because you can't walk around with it in the street and if you have a break in and they find a diamond what's the first thing they're gonna take it's obviously the diamond and if it gets sold off on a legit market or the black market you'll never find it again

Harley couldn't help but agree: yeah it's so stupid but I suppose it's just comes down to the condition of wanting to feel superior I mean what's more self-centred than having your bank code literally engraved on $1 million diamond. Hey I just came up with an idea can you build something or have something that could get the diamond out of the kid that way she won't be in any danger

Izuku raised an eyebrow in suspicion: I probably could but what do you get out of this why are you so interested in protecting her don't tell me you're working for black mask

Harley scampered a bits and try to come up with an excuse but she soon figured out never matter what she said the truth would come out and it would be better to tell him the truth now then for him to find out later

The former girlfriend of the joker told the truth: okay fine black mask promised me protection from all the people I've wronged since I don't have Mr J anymore I just wanted to get a diamond so that I could be safe but then she ended up eating it so now I'm like trying to save her because those animals would cut her open and all the diamonds from her stomach I'm trying to get her to relieve it the old-fashioned way

Izuku Felt like he was going to vomit as he pictured that image in his head. Once that was over he thought about his options: okay I'll build something to get the diamond out of her as painlessly as I possibly can in, then you can give it to black mask he offers you his protection and then a day later he found in a dumpster dead how does that sound

Harley smiled at the plan: yeah sure seems like an easy fix I am a woman of my word and you get to do one final good deed before you go to that great place in the sky
