Caitlin Point of view

In all the challenges I faced in my life nanny is more challenging than getting my parents to listen to me. It was bad enough when they took me off the force because they thought it was too dangerous I deserve a better job, but now I have to tell them that I simultaneously broke the law and that two lunatics from another dimension are in our world planning to rebuild their army here and our only hope is a green haired boy that I found in the under city . Yes it is going to be so much fun

I'm trying to explain the level of danger that is coming but they not surprisingly don't believe me: I'm telling the truth, we are in danger we need to talk to the council!

Mother is just sipping her tea not understanding how serious the situation is: tell the council! Do you realise you have broken several laws, your actions will reflect on the entire family I cannot let that happen

My dad is taking my side just a bit: i'm sure our daughter was just doing what she thought was right however reckless it was

Mother continuing: be that as it may do you really think the council is going to believe this idiotic story of his so-called ultimate reality filled with super human beings, obviously these people of the under city have gotten to you Caitlin you cannot believe their lies

Did she just forget that izuku zoomed across the room and grabbed the gun out of her hand crushed it like it was a toothpick: i'm not making it up I've seen it with my own eyes and then I can make endless clones of himself and his allies are crazy girl that can take the form of anyone she's the one who friend jinx for the massacre on progress day if you don't believe me about the superpowers at least believe that the girl that we have now there is innocent at least in that crime anyway!

Mother not liking my tone of voice I can tell by her expression: Caitlin! This is not appropriate behaviour for a council woman's daughter you should know better than to trust those... Those...

Izuku Voice cuts in: those what exactly?

The three of us look at him who's standing at the top of the stairs looking down at us with a rather angry expression but not aimed at me and my parents. Mother scowls at him: and you should leave now this is a family matter and has no business with you or your... friends

izuku chuckles as he walks down the stairs: so tell me Miss counsellor what exactly do you do?

Mother and my father both raise an eyebrow at the question, I can see where this is going so I'm going to let it take its course

Mother responded: I am a council woman I protect this city

izuku: no no you don't you really don't

Mother offended: excuse me!? How dare you the council keeps order in this City you have no right to-

izuku interrupts: Actually I kind of do you see where I'm from we have a society where everyone is treated equally, where there is no actual social standings although some families are more wealthy and others but it doesn't change that they are not above the law or their way in society everyone has to earn their keep. From what I'm seeing right now you and your family haven't really done anything except spend millions and raising your hands up in meetings like kids in preschool which isn't really a job because even a monkey can do that

Oh... He should not of said that. I look over to my mother and she is bright red with anger I don't think I've ever seen her this angry before: how dare you! How dare you Play in my family has done absolutely nothing we are one of the most wealthiest most prominent people in this great city we were one of the founding members we have remained on the council for over 300 years that is what this family represents order! And you claim we have done nothing!?

Izuku didn't change his expression or attitude: um...yes yes I do because it is true I mean seriously so what you're on the council that doesn't automatically give you a medal of honour just because you've made it this far because of your family ties I mean seriously name one thing you've actually conflict by yourself and I will take it all back go on name something name something you've done that has had an actual meaning?

Me and my father look to mother who has lost her angry expression and we can see she's not even thought she's trying to think of something but nothing comes out of a mouth she can't think of a single thing she's done that actually has general meaning at least not to herself or the family until she gets a smirk on her face: we funded the research that created the man of progress and Hexatech gates along with everything else Hexatech without us-

Izuku interrupted her again: So... You have money and you gave it away congratulations you've done something every rich family could've done and also who is to say that you he would have discovered it without your funding I mean what do you want a medal of honour because you helped someone do something you could probably have done by himself that's not an accomplishment that's just piggybacking off of someone else's success

Damn... That was brutal or I can't say I disagree izuku Has a point it's Jase accomplishments not ours and I feel like they forgotten the fact that they almost abandoned him when his technology didn't exactly go as intended. So I don't think mother has the right to try and pull that card

Mother goes back to a shocked expression and trying to look for anything else that the family might have done that actually meant something but I can tell by expression there is nothing there is nothing  That we've done recently that generally means anything. It's a hard thing to swallow but he's right.

But my mother being my mother cannot admit defeat: I do not need to explain my family's accomplishments to someone of your standing

Izuku doesn't like that Hurt his pride: okay so I'll just give you some examples of some things I've done that have general meaning that I've done and I'm only almost 18 (i've made him a bit older)  let's see where to begin oh yeah I know... I have brought A child's parents killer to justice giving him peace. I have destroyed an underground organisation that was exploiting a little girl I have saved A friend from a very evil man, i have stopped lunatic that was on a suicide mission,  I stopped a war between the two factions of my society at the cost of my own beliefs.

Oh my God has he really done all that, in comparison to that my own achievements seem meaningless although to be fair izuku did say that things are different in his world perhaps achievements of this level at his age are something ordinary to expect

Mother and father looked gasped and she looks like she's lost all colour in her face, I know she'll never admit it but I can tell she's ashamed she's shamed that somewhere deep down she knows he's right family hasn't done anything recently that had any benefit to our society in ages

izuku: so I've tried doing this a nice way but it seems like I'm gonna have to do it the hard way

He flexes fingers upwards and now there's a giant hole in the ceiling which caused both my mother and father to shake I'm remaining calm because I know what he's doing he's trying to get them to listen and blowing the roof of the building might be the only way. So against my parents wishes I go over to him and stand by him

Izuku smiled: okay so I didn't wanna have to do that but I feel like you left me no choice, so here's the choice you're going to set up a meeting with the other members of your council and we're going to tell them what we found in the under city if you don't do this I'm happily to walk into the building and get all of them together myself of course I will have to punch every single enforcer that gets in my way so we can do this the easy way or the hard way your choice which is it gonna be?

My parents are terrified, it is not a pleasant thing to see you but it's the only way they're gonna listen. My mother not extremely as she shakes in fear. One of the messages received my friend walks away and I go with him

Izuku talks while we walk away: i'm sorry about that I didn't want to go destroy your house but I felt like you was the only option

I completely understand my parents are difficult to talk to you it's like pulling teeth if you want them to listen to you: I understand you were doing it for the benefit of my society thank you, You are direct and straight to the point that's what we need in this situation

Izuku chuckled: Believe it or not Caitlin I wasn't always like this

Well that's a puzzler I. I mean I know I've only known him for a few days but I feel like I get a general good idea of his character he's strong, brave forwardthinking and I always does what is best. Makes me wonder what was he like before that

I decide to ask very carefully: so... If you don't mind me asking what were you like before and when did that change?

Izuku: well funny enough I was more like you Caitlin. Always wanting to help people regardless of the consequences rushing headfirst without thinking which got me into a lot of trouble believe me It may seem like I've matured a bit but truthfully I really miss my old self

I raise an eyebrow: why?

izuku: because I had something back then I can never get back... My beliefs in the good of all I. I used to believe that there was good and everyone that everyone can be saved but I was proven wrong

That must be when his personality changed what could've happened that made someone go from believing in the good of all to someone that barely sees it in people: what happened?

Izuku was about to answer when there was a scream and it sounded like my mother we raced back to the living room which still had a hole in it, but now there was a man with stripes coming off of his clothes that are wrapped around jinx, vi and my parents it must be another superhuman from izuku

The man noticed us and he gasped and smiled as he saw izuku: finally you've come, do you do remember me don't you don't you have to

I look to Izuku as he narrowed his eyes at this man: yeah I remember you ending

Ending what kind of name is that? The man gasps as tears started to show up in his eyes was he crying with joy? ending shiver with excitement: Oh thank goodness you didn't forget I wasn't sure if you would remember me

Ending seemed to tighten my friends and my parents in his rap when he got excited I move forward to try and stop him but izuku stopped me. He gave me a serious expression which gave me the incentive to stand back it's clear these two had some sort of history

Izuku getting a fighting stance: what do you want ending? Endeavour is not here

Ending: Oh I'm not after him anymore he had his chance to do what needed to be done, is flames just weren't good enough they don't shine like they used to but you I heard about you while I was in prison how your sparks gave the world hope I it's darkest time I then began to remember when we first saw each other cause how brave you were how determined you were it was captivating if endeavour wasn't so bright back then I would've noticed you too

Okay this guy is clearly insane, I still don't understand what he wants with izuku if he's such a big fan why is he hurting my friends and family

Izuku cracked his neck: so I've become your new obsession let me guess the mission is the same as it was when you fought endeavour

Ending with the widest insane smile I've ever seen speaks: oh yes it is please get it right this time don't make the same mistake Endeavour did... Please kill me
