"Woah." This place is awesome.

Maddison smiled and looked back at us. "We aren't even there yet but yes the outlands are astounding."

Kate mimicked Maddison.

Everyone snickered. Besides me I smacked Kate's arm. "Kate!" I hissed through my teeth.

Maddison looked back. "You know Kate, I really thought mocking someoned was beneath a supposed war with your attributes." She then smiled at Kate's confused face.

Kate recovered fast however.
"What is your ability fo dedicate people being mean to you?"

Maddie laughed. "Actually no just like every warrior I have the standard strength and speed with high jumping. But my actual abilities are I have great senses then anyone ever which comes hand in hand with the great reflexes. But my main ability is...I literally she at the back of my head. "

Nick scrunched his face up. "So like do you have eyes there?"

Maddie shook her head. "Its quite percuilar actually...I just can see there."

Kade shook his head. "But how?"

Maddie shrugged. "I honestly have no idea."

She then held her hand up in a fist.

We all watched enough movies to know that meant stop walking.

She then looked back at us and whispered. "We are entering the dangerous parts of the outlands...stay close." She then pulled out her two  machetes that were on her back.

Jack then whispered. "So you a machete girl huh?"

Maddie smiled. "No that would be my sister. I am more into archery, that's my string suit."

"Then why do you have machetes instead of a bow and arrow?" Asked Cassie.

Maddie cut a branch that was in our way. "Well a new bow and arrow are being made for me...despite me constantly saying I don't need a new one. " she then rolled her eyes. "But Freya hid my old on while they make the new one."

"Well why won't they let you use the old on if it's reliable?" I ask.

She shrugs. "Well we the royal guard...despite there not being an actual proper royal since you know the second war."

I did a double take...and as did the others.

"You mean to tell me, the war we heard of way back then with our ancestors wasn't the first war?" Asked Cassie.

Maddie nodded. "Yeah your original ancestors originally had their own kingdoms, but they felt as though one of the kingdoms had most of the riches and well everything. Jealousy struck and they sent they warriors to fight and so forth it was intense. But then they finally agreed to share one kingdom equally. The others kingdoms decided to either give their castles to other creatures who just roamed in the forest and had no actual home. Which is how the other realms started."

I nodded. "So they managed peace after all?"

Jack scrunched his face up. "But they didnt have powers...how did whoever decide it fit to give the next generations after them powers?"

Maddie nodded. "Well as new threats arose we needed more equipped warriors and kings and Queens."

"So what are the other realms?" Asked Kade.

"Well the original castle where they settled their differences is the actual Kingdom and your home. The castle closest is an academy for warriors, magical creatures etc. The one a little ways down belongs to the fairies. The next one to the elves. The other one was turned into a prison as none of the other folk wanted a mini kingdom." She then kept walking.

"You didn't say what happened to the last castle?" Asked Nick.

Maddie had a worried look in her eyes. "We don't speak of that far off kingdom."

Kate looked to Maddie with a serious expression. "Its the guy isn't it?"

Maddie said. "What?"

Kate sighed. "The guy we fighting. And the guy who turned the original royal bloods with powers against each other. Its him. Isn't it?"

Maddie looked dumbfounded. "I don't know wha-"

Kate continued. "You took the sixth castle. But if you guys have the other 5 in your favour...with everyone on your side. Why do you fear him and need us?"

Maddie had stopped walking and wouldn't look either of us in the eye. Besides Kate. They made direct eye contact.

Kate looked as though she figured it out. "He still has them...doesn't he?"

Maddie nodded.

Then it clicked on me. "Who everyone does he have?" I asked.

We all knew know what was happening.

"He has the water, earth, wind." And then she paused and looked directly at Kate. "And lightening."

Jack and I looked confused.

Maddie elaborated. "He used their team to kill them. He killed fire and ice."

"But how? The team should've been able to defeat him? Or but-" Jack rambled.

Maddie cut him off. "Even just fire and ice could've stopped him. But they wouldn't fight their teammates. Atleast not to death."

"Well why not...they betrayed them?" Asked Kade.

Maddie shook her head.

"They didn't betray them... did they?" Asked Cassie with a sad look.

Maddie looked disheartened. "Yeah...uhmm...we not sure how, if he used a spell or what, but he controlled them and still is to this day."

"How do you know they alive for sure?" Asked Nick.

"We don't...but we hope." Said Maddie.

"But if they are alive and were being controlled all this time...did they ever get to meet their kids?"

Maddie nodded. "They spent 5 years with their kids before the real havoc came and when they got controlled." She then looked at Jack and I. "Your ancestors told us to send the kids through a portal, they were orphaned but it had to be done."

Kate then looked at Maddie. "You guys orphaned them? That seems cruel, wouldn't the kids themselves have rather died alongside their parents?"

Maddie nodded. " I am sure what went down...but I am sure they did want to spend it with their parents, but if my ancestors didn't send them through then you guys wouldn't be here and the whole world would be in chaos."

"If you sent them through alone...how do they know who they were?" Asked Cassie.

"My anchestor went through about 3 years later and took them in as her kids...taught them everything." She smiled to herself. "Its the reason why our family is regarded as your protectors. Even before the wars it has always been our family there as your guardians ...even before they had abilities."

Kade nodded. "That's why they either sent you or Freya."

Maddie nodded. "And it's also why you going to get acquainted with the rest of my family." Maddie said this with excitement and then she glanced coolly at each of us but her eyes lingered on Kate's

Kate held the stare as well.

Maddie then looked away just in time to catch an arrow that was barreling at us.

She then huffed. "And now I only have my machetes" she rolled her eyes.

She then looked at us. "You not yet ready to fight these creatures. Stay low and feel free to try and use your powers on them...but try not to hit me."

She then ran forward spinning her machetes in her hands, just in time for us to see big green massive creatures hurdling towards her, with what looked like elves shooting arrows at some of them.

Maddie skied on the floor and cut two of the green beasts legs she then jumped up and did a backflip while kicking one them and then using the one she kicked to jump on the head of another to which she sliced his head.

The big green thing fell. And Maddie didnt seem fazed she just looked at the smallest elf and said "your quiver"

And he passed her his bow and arrow to which she shot the last three beasts down.

Everyone was looked at her in admiration around me.

Kate had a shadow of a smirk on her face and she whispered. "She is awesome."

Maddie turned to look at us and came back with green all over her. The elves behind her followed her.

"Sorry guys. We have some wild orges who still fight for the evil one."

She then glanced at Kate and smirked. "Anyway these are Griffen, Titan and Kresen." She pointed at the elves.

We all nodded. And introduced ourselves.

The one who I assume is Griffen smirked and said. "The warriors in the flesh...I never thought I would love to see the day."

The only girl of the eleves, Kresen rolled her eyes. "You just hit your 20th birthday you practically immortal now."

Griffen rolled his eyes. "Just because I am immortal doesn't mean I cant get killed...you should know that better than anyone, you almost died last week and this is what your second 20th?"

The bigger guy who was Titan rolled his eyes. "Don't mind my siblings...they idiots." Two which the other two gasped.

Cassie looked curious. "And how many twenties have you had?"

Titan smiled. "Well this is my 8th one."

Kate smirked. "Well you don't look a day over 20."

Titan smiled and then winked. "I know."

"Let's get going." Maddie said firmly.

"Calm down mads, we will get there in-" Griffen began but Maddie shot him a look that could kill.

"We should arrive there in an hours time. So we have no time to wait. We move now."

"An hour?" Whined Kade. "But we haven't eaten in ages."

We all rolled our eyes. "You have to mind him...he is a food fanatic." Said Jack.

"You can appreciate something without being a fanatic." Said Kade.

"Kinda how I appreciate Kate." Said Nick with a smirk.

Kate rolled her eyes and was about to say a snarky comment when Maddie said. "Yeah that's just creepy...the way you said it."

Kate looked at Maddie with appreciation "Well I would've said it in meaner words but yes. What Maddie said."

Maddie in return smiled. Kresen narrowed her eyes and walked closer to Maddie.

Wonder what's that all about?

After an hour of walking and complaining from practically everyone we made it to the kingdom.

And it was beautiful.

"Wow." We all once again said.

Freya was right there waiting for us outside. "I see you haven't killed them"

Maddie rolled her eyes. "They almost died...but I had their backs but I am pretty sure i would've went better if i had my-"

Freya held her hand up. "You are getting a new one let it go."

Freya then smiled at all of us and said "follow me."

We first had to walk a bit still but we were all excited we were practically running until we got the the bridge that went over a lake that we walked over.

We saw people everywhere.
Fairies
Elves
Commoners
Warriors

It was magnificent, the castle looked that of a Harry Potter book mixed with those castles in Once upon a time.

When we arrived at the castle doors a man came out wearing a crown.

We all seemed confused as there should be no King.

He then smiled, took of his crown and held it out to us. "It is but great honour to finally hand the kingdom back over to your families."

We looked to each other in awe.

Freya looked at Jack and I expectantly.

So we both touched the crown and people around us cheered.

The man who used to wear the crown clicked his fingers and people came out of nowhere with six crowns.

The guy then smiled. "That crown actually goes in this case with the old crowns...the new ones were made when your ancestors received powers....so that they could fight with them on."

The six crowns looked simple but screamed royalty.

It was placed on our heads and the man who whore the non magic folk crown clapped his hands. "My name is James...and you can meet everyone at your return ball."

At this Everyone around us that was warriors sighed and glared.

Freya then looked at him."Lord James I said no-"

He then waved her off. "I know...no party but the Kings and Queens have returned...My cousins have returned."

"Cousins?" Asked Nick.

He nodded. "Well sort of in a way...you see way back then the Water and Fire warriors were brothers and like yeah the fire one had two kids and one represented that of no powers so obviously he stayed here and my line was then entrusted with the throne."

Jack nodded. "So you are family to me?"

James nodded with a smile. "Yes actually only to you, but the water one is kinda also family in a way I suppose. Pur lineage is all so confusing." James then did a little chuckle.

Nick nodded. "Well that's cool...I am Nick, the water."

Maddie rolled her eyes. "Lord James about the party. There should be no party."

James rolled his eyes. "Mads live alittle. Your whole family needs to live alittle...Enzo doesn't know they here yet...we are fine." He then looked at Nick. "Yes I know...I know all your names."

"So Enzo is his name." I said

Kade nodded. "He does have an evil name." He then began to whisper. "Enzo" in a creepy voice over and over.

Then Nick and Jack joined him.

James looked confused. "Yes yes anyway...come in, come in you guys must be exhausted."

The castle doors then opened.

And might I just say wow again.

I felt as thought I was in an actual fairytale.

And the best part was...I was and it was actually reality.
