Lisa P.O.V

I woke up with my hair a complete mess and me feeling super tired and then I remembered I had super speed so I took this as an advantage and zoomed past my parents and grabbed me a quick breakfast all while getting changed.

I then walked downstairs "for the first time" and greeted my parents.

"You look lively today." My mom commented.

My Dad nodded. "Yeah any secret boyfriend we should know of?"

I laughed. "No."

My dad chuckled. "That better stay your answer for years to come."

I laughed and shook my head

Doing dong

My Dad looked confused and went to answer the door.

My mom looked at me with a confused face. "Who do you think that is?"

I shrugged.

Dad opened the door I assumed cause I heard...is that Jack?

"Morning sir I am here to fetch Lisa to take her to school."

Shit.

Poor Jack.

Poor Dad.

Shit.

"Uhhm Lisa! Get over here right now."

I looked to mom with wide eyes and she shrugged.

I walked to the door slowly. "Heyyy"

My dad shot me a glare. And then gestured to Jack. "No secret boyfriend huh?"

My eyes widened. "Dad no I-"

Jack smirked and winked at me when he cut me off. "Sir I want you to know I love your daughter very dearly."

I glared at Jack. "No. He. Doesn't. Dad. He. Is. Just. Messing. With. You. To. Mess. With. Me." I said through gritted teeth.

Jack shook his head wildly. "No sir. I do. I love her."

"No you don't." I said again.

"Babe. Stop pretending they caught us out." He said in a whiney voice.

My dad gawked and placed a hand over his heart. "You call each other babe?" He said and then glared at Jack then at me.

My mom then came out of nowhere and shook Jack's hand. "Hi sweety. It's great to finally meet you. We so must have you over for dinner sometime."

My dad was about to protest. To which my mother shot daggers his way and he shut his mouth.

"We can even have all your friends over if it makes everyone feel more comfortable." My mom said cheerfully.

To which my dad visibly relaxed.

But then my mom said. "But next time just Jack."

Before my dad could say anything she steered that out of the room and in the direction of the kitchen.

As soon as they were out of sight I started shoving Jack.

To which he just laughed.

"Jack! How could you? Do want my father to die of a heart attack?"

"I happen to think parents always end up loving me. Cause I am excellent boyfriend material."

"Be that as it may. Dont ever do it again."

Jack smiled and mused. "So you admit Evan's that I am excellent boyfriend material."

I rolled my eyes. "In another universe perhaps."

"What took you so long?" Kate groaned.

I glared as I saw Kate ,Kade, Nick and Cassie all there down the road to where Jack was parked.

"Really? Out of everyone you sent him?" I said outraged.

"What did he do." Asked Cassie.

"Just told her parents the truth that I love her and that we are dating." Mused Jack.

To which I glared at him.

Kade ,Nick and Kate smirked.

Nick then said. "Well it's about time you told your parents Lisa."

Kade nodded. "Yeah poor Mr. And Mrs. Evans the lying was just cruel."

I groaned.

Kate just kept smirking.

"Wipe that smug look off your face."

She laughed. "What I did nothing?"

Cassie just had a passive face.

Wonder what wheels were turning in that head of hers?

By the time lunch came by the whole school heard the story of how the valedictorian stole the bad boys heart.

Jack, Kade and Nick made sure of that.

So now even the teachers stared at me in awe.

Girls in hatred.

Boys in wistfully.

And they stared at Jack in awe or envy.

And worst of all Kate was no help when people asked for her confirmation she would say. 'I can't say it's confidential' Then she would wink.

And Cassie just wouldn't even indulge them.

So they were no help.

And Jack told everyone that I would deny it cause I am nervous and have never been in a real relationship so I don't want stares.

Which is also why when I catch someone staring the look away.

I walked into the cafeteria alone today however and saw our new found table filled with everyone besides Jack.

"Hey ice queen." I jumped as Jack whispered in my ear.

I glared at him. "Frost you are so dead."

He tsk'd me. "That's no way to speak to the love of your life sweety."

I groaned and sped walked to the table.

But my efforts were pointless as he picked me up and carried my bridal style to the table.

The cafeteria was in awe of what they were witnessing.

Once we finally got to the table everyone was smirking now even Cassie.

"Ahh the happy couple." Teased Nick.

Kate then grabbed Nick's hand. "If only we could be as great as they." She said dramatically.

And clearly acting but poor Nick lool flustered.
"Oh really?"

She then rolled her eyes. "No."

Nick the pouted and we all laughed.

"Miss Evans just because you dating Mr. Frost does not mean you can act this inexcusably." My Math teacher scolded me.

Mrs. Higgons was my favourite teacher and I her favourite student so I could tell she was disappointed in me and hence her attacking me for saying one word to Cassie next to me.

"But-"

"No buts!"

I was beyond livid.

After class I walked up to her.

"Your behavior was inexcusable. Are you so against the idea of Jack and I dating that you would stoop so low?"

Mrs. Higgins looked taken back.

She then nodded. "I am trying to look out for you. I too fell for a Jack once. And it never ends well. Trust me."
But she didn't stop there. "He is a delinquent and it doesn't stop there he might even end up a dirty no good-"

Now despite Jack and I not dating I found it completely appalling that she would say such words about him when  she didn't even know him just because she doesn't have good taste in men.

"Now listen her Mrs. Higgins the words you speak of my boyfriend are inexcusable. And I will not here it. You don't even know him! You don't know his life! And I can assure you he is far from a dirty no good. He is a leader. And he will do great things one day. Now good day."

I don't know what came out of me or why I said what I said.

It could be the fact that we are mind linked now and we can sometimes she each others memories and he I saw one during math which was what I was going to tell Cassie.

It was him as a kid playing with a mini Kade and Nick. And Tyson Nick's older brother was teasing Nick and Jack defended him.

It was really cute.

"I heard you defended me and called me boyfriend." I jumped.

And glared at Jack. "Okay you gotta stop doing that!"

And then I realised what he said. "Who did you hear this from."

He then smirked. "You."

I blinked. "What do you-" my eyes widened.

He gave me a smile with a dimple "Oh yeah that's right Evans you mind linked me it."

"Well so did you in Math."

He widened his eyes. "W-What did I mind link you?"

It was my turn to smirk. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

He nodded."uhhm yes please."

"No."

He followed me essentially begging me with every step we took to tell him.

He looked really nervous.

It went on like this for the rest of the day.

We were finally all in the car.

"Oh by the way my parents want you all over for dinner tonight. Also the cause of my new found boyfriend." I said glaring at Jack next to me in the driver's seat.

Kade nodded. "I am down for any invitation with food."

Nick said, "count on it."

Kate scoffed. "You speak as though I wasn't already coming for dinner."

Cassie snapped her fingers and pointed at Kate.

Come on Evan's please tell.me.

I started panicking.

Jack's voice inside my head.

"You okay?" Cass asked.

I nodded. "Yeah I-"

I blinked.

Jack physically panicked as well and widened his eyes at me.

"Okay what the hell is wrong with you two?" Asked Kade.

Kate snapped her fingers between our heads. "Earth to fuckheads?"

"Just mindlinked for the first time."

Nick whined. "That's so cool I hate we can only communicate with our eyes and you guys can actually mind talk like what the fuck does talking through your eyes even mean?"

Cassie then spoke. "Perhaps when we in battle if we made direct eye contact so we know what the plan is."

Kade the scrunched his face in a confused manner. "Why not let us all mind link?"

Kate then said. "Yeah seems so unfair."

"Well its probably because they the leaders and come up with the strategy so if we all could mind link we would probably argue in our heads instead of fighting."

Nick nodded. "I suppose that makes sense."

I zoned them out.

So you gonna tell me or not?

I looked at Javk and he gave me a sheepish smile.

I groaned out loud but refused to respond.

"Uhhm Lisa you okay there?" Asked Cass with a worried glance.

"No Jack is busy talking to me."

Kate had an excited look. "You guys are mind linking right now...so cool!"

"Ouu aks the boys if they can bring something like...cake or something." Said Cassie with a excited smile.

I opened the door to come face to face with the boys.

"Heres the cake you asked for." Said Kade excitedly. "It got caramel and a chocolate and yum"

My mom appears behind me. "Oh how sweet of you boys. Come in. Come in."

Jack then came in and kissed my cheek. "Hey babe." He said with a smirk.

My mom looked so happy. "Paul the boys are here!"

I heard my dad groan.

But then he clapped his hands. "Great let me show them my gun!"

All the boys eyes widened.

See Kate and Cass were like his daughters too and having boys here was no sitting well with my dad.

Luckily dinner was ready.

As we all sat at the table with Jack luckily across from me because my dad forbid any boys near any girls.

"So tell my boys what do you guys want to be when you're older?"

Now knowing them Jack wanted to either own a business or be a professional business owner.

Nick wanted the same as Jack and Kade wanted to be an architect.

But after recent events we all knew we might not even get to become what we wanted for we have duties now.

Nonetheless they answered what I thought they would.

My mom nodded. "Oh that's super!" She said with a chirpy voice.

Mom then looked back at the clock. And held up her hand. "3...2...1..."

And my Dad's head fell to the table.

She then clapped her hands and smiled.

Whereas all of us looked beyond frightened.

What the fuck just happened?

"Now boys can you carry Paul up to our room?" My mom asked.

But no one moved.

She than rolled her eyes. "Chop chop today warriors."

My eyes widened.

"But-"

She raised her hand. "I will explain everything as soon as your father is in our bedroom."

We were all in living room while mom went to get a book.

"Okay we gotta get out of here cause that is so not your mom." Whispered Kate.

"Unless your mom has always been this uhhm what's the word?" Asked Cassie.

"Crazy!" Whisper yelled Nick.

Mom came down the stairs.

"No I am sorry kids that you had to find out like this...but as you know about the legend and the warriors etc."

She sat down and opened the book.

That story book that was read to every family with pictures of the chosen ones ancestors etc.

"Now that is our guys great great great great great great great great great many greats later grandparents."

She then looked at us. "As you know form the story they were the first warriors ever chosen to help fight the war. Until everything went wrong. And as you also know the mystical realm was lost and was searching for their lost warriors."

We all nodded dumb founded. "Well the warriors weren't lost or dead. They were sent out of the broken realm to this new realm that was built from the broken realm. To continue and live and hence their descendants when needed most will be chosen."

I blinked.

Kade then asked. "Okay guy since you know of this. Does this mean you were too a warrior once?"

Jack then asked. "And our parents and great grandparents etc as well?"

My mom nodded. "Not exactly you see this information is past down in generations and then taught to harbor their powers incase needed."

She then looked at each of us. "You were only suppose to train on you 18th birthdays so me , Mrs frost, Mr Muller, Mr Archer , Mrs Chamberlain and  Mr Blackwell could train you and put parents dud us and their parents before them and so forth."

She the shook her head. "But everything went wrong as you were the generation needed and since you were all in the enchanted forest with each other the realm felt your presence and began your training earlier."

I was at a loss for words.

"Wow so my mom is cool huh?" Asked Kate.

My mom laughed. "Very much so."

"How did you know we were the chosen ones?" Asked Cassie.

My mother rolled her eyes. "Like I wouldn't notice the odd Ice and lightning and trees growing everywhere."

We all laughed.

Nick nodded. "Fair enough."

"So when I was suspicious I contacted your parents and we met in the enchanted forest connected energies and contacted Freya to which she filled us in."

"So book club night that your randomly had with not every hearing once of said book club was that?" Asked Jack.

My mother nodded. "Very much so. Although we have been having "book club" meetings for years you just haven't noticed."

"Okay but why tell us this now?" I asked.

My mom smiled. "Because you need the full story and well Freya also told us you will be needed soon so I wanted to keep you guys at ease and let you know you have our full support."

"Does the other parents know of this?" Asked Cassie.

My mother nodded once more. "We had to fill them in on what kind of life they could possibly be signing up for."

My mom then jumped up. "Anyway get some rest and please do go through the book. You might want to refresh your memory on the "legend"." She then winked.

I gave my mom a confused look. "Wait if dad knows why knock him out?"

My dad then spoke out of nowhere. "Oh I wasnt knocked out." He smirked.

My mom laughed. "We just wanted to scare you...its what my father did with me and your parents. I remember how frightened I was."

"So you just made us carry you up the stairs?" Asked Kade.

And my Dad couldn't keep in his laugh.

They both then laughed as they exited the room.

"I officially love your parents." Commented Nick.

As intense and eventful as Wednesday was Thursday was just as normal as it could get with people staring at you and your parents giving you knowing smirks so we skip to Friday.

"So Evan's what you gonna wear to my party?" Asked Jack as we sat down for lunch.

I looked at him with a blank face, "sweat pants and a baggy shirt."

He groaned. "Evans no. Come on show off your curves...you are a very beautiful and sexy woman don't be afraid to show off a bit."

Did Jack actually just call me sexy and beautiful?

He then widened his eyes and scratched his neck. "Besides you are my fake girlfriend and by that law you should be looking your best for me."

Kate smirked. "What's wrong Jack? You look a bit flustered."

Nick then joined in. "Yeah afraid the cats out of the bag?" He leaned in smirking.

Jack glared at them both. "I am perfectly fine thank you very much!"

Kade covered his "sure" with a cough and everyone laughed.

I was a little bit confused with what was happening though.

"Okay girl no. I am picking out the outfits!" Announced Kate while we were getting ready for Jack's party. "Cass go back us some hot chocolate and get ready with the make up." She then looked to me. "You on hair duty."

She then also kicked me out of my room so she could "do her magic" as she says.

"Okay girls come in!" She yelled after a few minutes.

To which Cassie ran up with the hot chocolate and oreos.

I took one look at my set out outfit and shook my head. Not only was that dress too revealing but she paired it with long black heels.

I shook my head and said. "Nope" at the same time Cassie yelled. "Cute"

Kate looked at me. "Come on Lisa you haven't been to a party in ages. It's been so long I fear people think you have become a grandma." She then gave me puppy eyes. "Give the dress ago. You will look absolutely stunning in it."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine. But I am NOT wearing those shoes."

Kate rolled her eyes. "Fine."

After Cassie did our make up. We went with a natural look. Accept we added some gold by our eyes and eyeliner as well as the mascara.

And with some lip gloss.

As for the hair. I straightened Kate's and left it loose. Cassie's was curly and in a part pony tail part loose style.

And for myself I just let my curls fall down.

We finally were ready to go.

We walked up to Jack's house and the music was already blasting. But luckily no one was passed out yet.

As we enter it's as if the boys sensed our presence.

"Ladies!" Yelled Nick with his arms out stretched.

Kade went right up to Cassie and put his arm around her shoulder. To which Cassie blushed.

And they then walked away in another direction.

To which Nick grabbed Kate's hand and lead her to the dance floor. Kate rolled her eyes but followed anyway.

I finally made eye contact with Jack and he was giving me a goofy smile.

"Follow me!" He shouted and grabbed my hand.

I let him guide me to the kitchen where it was alot quieter.

"What's your poison?" He asks.

I looked around at my options. And then smirked. "Smirnoff ,mixed with twist."

He gave me a raised eyebrow. "Interesting choice."

And poured me my drink.
He then poured two shots of tequila.

And then poured him Sprite and vodka.

And then he raised the two tequila shots and passed me one. "Come on Evans." With a smirk.

I raised an eyebrow. "1...2...3"

And then we both downed it. My throat burned.

I then chugged  my drink.

Jack widened his eyes. "Okay Evans." Then chugged his.

I then looked at him. "Surpise me this time."

He then took out caster sugar ,rhubarb, vodka ,syrup ,advocaat and lemonade.
He then did some chopping and cutting and blending and like shit I don't know but it was awesome.

He then passed me my glass and took a sip of his.

"Dance with me." I said to him.

And his eyes widened. "What?"

I said dance with me

Evans  I suck at dancing

I shook my head and smiled. "Dance. With. Me...boyfriend."

He then smirked. "Using that against me won't work. I am not going to dance."

"Shut up and dance with me!" I grabbed his hand and lead him to the dance floor.

I placed my hands around his neck and he placed his by my waist. And we started dancing in the same rhythm.

I rested my head against him. And just let the music guide me.

I am not sure how long we stay like that until we heard chanting.

"Jump. Jump. Jump."

We went outside to see the commotion.

And there he is. Kade hanging from the upstairs balcony. Getting ready to jump.

But that's not the worst part.

There was Cassie we was currently jumping into the pool already.

"Well shit." Muttered Jack.

"Do we stop them?" I asked.

He shook his head. "No."

But he started his way upstairs.

"Where you going?" I asked.

"To get a first aid kit from my bedroom."

I nodded and followed him.

We opened the door to his bedroom to find Nick and Kate groping against his bookshelf. Kate's dress riding up and Nick's shirt off.

"Ahhhhhh noo" I then covered my face in Jack's face.

Jack then laughed. "Why are you in my room!" He said as he chucked something at them.

"I didn't think you two would be coming here anytime soon." Responded Nick.

Kate then said. "Yeah I thought atleast two more weeks."

I removed my face from Jack's chest. "What the fuck?!"

"I mean your chemistry is so unmistakable." Replied Nick.

"Just shut up! Jack go get the first aid kit and let's get out of here!"

"First aid kit?" Asked Kate.

"Kade?" Asked Nick.

Jack nodded.
And I said. "And Cassie."

So Kate and Nick looked at each other then ran out of the room.

I threw his shirt at Nick. "Here."

He caught it and ran.

We grabbed the first aid kit and went to see if anything else developed.

By the time we got there Kade was in the pool and Wade Logan was somehow stuck in the tree.

Jack sighed.  And someone yelled. "Wade is in the tree again!"

I looked confused at Kate. "Again?"

She nodded. "Like every party."

Kade and Cassie got out of the pool and stood next to us.

Jack was about to move. "Might as well go-"

A blast shot threw the party and everyone was frozen.

Then a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes in training armour like Freya's came out.

She looked directly at us. "Warriors se must leave now."

Kate did a double take. "Woah who are you? And where is Freya."

"You must be Kate." She then smiled and looked Kate in the eyes and they both held the look for a solid minute, "I am Madison but you can call me Maddie." She then looked at each of us. "I am Freya's younger sister. And she is currently busy fighting off some attacks at our borders and I was sent to get you."

Cassie nodded. "Well nice to meet you."

"And you Cassie." Responded Maddie.

"How do you know our names?" Asked Kade.

"My sister has spoken very highly of each of you...Kade." she responded with a smile.

"Okay but how do you know who is who?" Nick asked.

"Well Nick by the way you act and your descriptions are uncanning."

She then looked at me, then at Jack. "Leaders come lead your team through the portal. We must leave at once."

Jack and I nodded and started walking at the glowing hole in between the trees.

Kate raised her hand. "Okay but we not wearing clothes for this?"

Maddie smiled. "Despite you looking stunning ,you are right but don't have to worry we will have clothes for you there."

We all looked at each other and held hands as we followed Maddie through the portal, ready to fight this war.
