Chapter 21
Mary threw another spell at her eldest daughter as she threw up another defense spell to protect herself from harm.
It was a second too late and smashed Theresa against the tree that it made her feel like she was about to go unconcious.
Blinking her eyes shut tight and fighting to stay concious, she stood up with all of her might to fight against her mother.
She had to give Emillia more time to gather her strength to fight her mother.
Hearing her mother laugh evilly, Theresa looked up weakly and saw her mother standing above her as she stood on both feet with her hands against her legs to help her stand.
Mary grabbed Theresa by the back of the neck and pressed hard against her pressure point to make her go fully unconcious.
Fighting against it, she heard her mother say "You think that you could win this battle against me daughter? Well you have just been proven wrong cause those who are always the strongest always win. You are just a weak link that I would just love to get rid of. Too bad that you are my daughter and I have to let you live because I am not that shallow."
"No, you are just a big good for nothing stupid mother who had to kill her first husband for money," snarled Theresa weakly as the unconcious state came closer and closer to overtaking her.
Very mad, Mary threw her daughter against the ground while letting go of her neck to allow the darkness to fully overtake her.
"I never meant to kill your father in the first place but you and your sister killed him when the two of you decided to be mortal instead of immortal," Mary snarled back at Theresa.
"We never killed him because we wanted to live our lives being mortal and be with our father until the day we grow old and die," Theresa yelled back at her mother feeling angry feed into her power.
Instead of saying something or doing something back toward her, Mary turned around to see Emillia, with the prince, Haline, and a strange glowing figure with them, gathering her powers to fight Mary.
Mary just decided to use her powers to stop Emillia and quickly end this battle once and for all.
Her powers floated around the four of them but couldn't penetrate them as a white glow formed around their forms to prevent anyone from trying to stop Emillia from gaining her strength back.
Watching from the ground, Theresa saw her mom use a stronger spell to penetrate the glow and steal the rest of Emillia's powers.
Seeing it crack a bit, she weakly got up and ran toward her mother at full speed yelling "NO!!"
She hurled herself into Mary and they both tumbled and rolled until they came to a stop near the edge of the cliff with Theresa near the edge and Mary near the bottom of the cliff.
Looking up from her spot, Theresa saw the forest was in front of the cliff and realized she used the transfer spell to transfer Mary to a different spot far away from Emillia to make her final stand against the person who called herself her 'mother'.
Mary got up and smiled smugly asking "Is that all you've got daughter cause I am sure that you will never win this battle against me alone."
"I may be weak, but I have the power that you don't have," Theresa says weakly as she stands up while her runied gown billows around her like a cape in the wind.
"What is that my dearest daughter," snarls Mary as she comes closer to Theresa to full put her in an unconcious state.
"I have the power of the Harken Heights rebellion against people like you," replies Theresa bravely as she felt herself gaining strength from the one and only Kathen-Lock as he showed up into her vision from near the forest behind Mary.
Kathen-Lock was a man who was about 38 years old with a scar on his eyebrow from a long ago battle, gray eyes, orchid skin tone, full lips, black hair, and was about 6ft 4in.
He had muscles all over from training, and wore gray clothes all over with a long staff in his hand. Over the years Kathen had became like a father figure to Lillian and Theresa, and whenever he spoke to them, he would always say kind words and softly soothe them down from something that had just happened.
"You don't have the power of the Harken Heights to defeat me Theresa because you and your sister were a simple mistake that I didn't spoil too much these days. I should've known that you and Lillian always had a soft spot for the little monster who calls herself Emillia," grumbled Mary as she came into Theresa's vision more.
"Emillia did nothing to you in the first place," said Theresa trying to buy some time for Kathen to come and help her while Emillia needed more time to gather her strength.
"That is where you are wrong Theresa cause if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be standing here right now with you cause she influenced both you and your sister to her side. Plus if she wouldn't have been born and thrown lightening my way, then we wouldn't be having this kind of problem," replied Mary evilly.
"What if Emillia wasn't born a Whitress? Would you still hate her?" asked Theresa as Kathen inched closer and closer to them.
"If Emillia wasn't born a Whitress, she would still pose as a threat to me and my entire plan. So yes I would still hate her. But not as much as I hate you for falling for her charmed spell that she puts on everyone she passes. First the prince, then Lillian, then the servant, then your younger brother and sister, and now you Theresa. I thought that you were better than that," Mary snarled advancing closer to Theresa until she was only an inch away from her face.
"One thing you should know Mary is that we never were charmed in the first place when we had a father figure to help us see the good in things. Too bad that you will have to lose your powers by the same shadowy figure that made you lose almost all of them in the first place," said Theresa smugly as Kathen was almost behind Mary causing his shadow to overgrow her tall form.
Mary paled instantly and turned to see Kathen there with his staff in hand ready to say the spell.
Then, all of a sudden, Emillia appeared with the prince and Haline by her side but no glowing figure with them.
That's strange, Theresa thought to herself as she had thought that she saw a glowing figure that held a resemblence exactly like Emillia but pushed it away as the real battle for freedom begins now.
