Rachel laid in Skylar's arms. As he held her close to him. Rachel softly asked

"I don't mean to pry, but I thought you would have dormed at Dalton." Skylar softly laughed and said

"I would normally. I tried the dorm thing but Spencer my best friend had guy after guy with him doing physical stuff making the dorm a revolving door. While I accept that he's gay, what I don't accept is his one night stand lifestyle. So because of Spencer's one night stand life, I asked my grandma if I could have my own place." Skylar deliberately left the part about also asking Sebastian to have his own place away from Dalton too, as he didn't know how she would take to him being Sebastian's younger brother. Rachel didn't expect Skylar to be so open about it, but she was pleased and Skylar then said

"I may not be an open person but I'll always be open with you and I'll never lie to you either Rachel." Rachel felt touched by Skylar's words and said

"I believe you." Rachel wasn't ready to leave but she knew she had too. Rachel sat up and then kissed Skylar's lip and said

"I have to leave otherwise my room-mates will worry and will question." Skylar kissed her hand and said

"I understand." Rachel stood up from Skylar's bed, turned to him and said

"I just realised something." Skylar looked at her confused and said

"What Rach?" She smiled at him and said

"You didn't ask if you could kiss me?" Skylar smiled back at her and said

"No i didn't. Did you want me to?" Rachel thought about it, and she said

"I don't know yet. But I know I liked it at first." Skylar stood up, walked over to her, grabbed her hands and said

"I'll only stop if you tell me too." Skylar pulled Rachel close to him and said

"Can I kiss you?" Rachel stood on her tip toes and kissed him goodbye.

When Rachel got home she was happy and over joyed, Skylar really asked her out and she said yes. She was nervous, excited and afraid at the same time, she didn't want hers and Skylar's relationship getting out. Rachel snuck back inside the apartment and into her room where she was thankful that Trent, Nick and Jeff were still asleep.

Rachel couldn't sleep as she knew that the next day was hers and Sam's first glee club meeting, she was even more nervous with the fact that she was working with Sammy, and that she and Sammy would be recruiting new people altogether, eventually sleep took over her and she dreamt of Skylar.

The next morning she walked out of her room and was met with Nick who said

"You feeling okay Rach?" Rachel took a deep breath and said

"I'm okay, just nervous to be a glee director." Nick gave her an encouraging smile and said

"You'll be okay." Rachel forced a small smile to Nick and said

"I hope so Nicky." Nick gave Rachel a side hug and said

"You aren't in New York anymore and you aren't with Santana and Kurt. You get their doubts of you out of your head. This is your fresh start. And just remember Finn did this too and he would be proud of you and cheering for you." Rachel wasn't so sure about the proud part. As she was seeing an 18 year old student from Dalton. And she knew Finn would not like that, in fact Finn would never like that she even speaks to guys as when she was with him and even Jesse was like that. She wasn't allowed to speak to any other guys. Rachel slowly nodded her head reluctantly agree with Nick.

Rachel walked out the door not bothering with eating, but only grabbing a coffee. She drove to McKinley preparing herself for the day. She walked into the choir room and she was nervous that noone would sign up. She waited for awhile when her phone pinged. Rachel took her phone out and saw a message from Skylar.

It was all the encouragement she needed to relax about it all. Rachel had Skylar supports which meant everything to her. Rachel put her phone away when she saw Sam had walked in with not only Mercedes with him but also Brittany. She was nervous and she was scared because Brittany and Mercedes could tell Santana and Kurt everything that she was here and living with Trent, Nick and Jeff and ruin everything like they did in New York. She was about to speak when two students who were cheerios had walked in.

Madison walked in with her brother Mason and asked

"Is this glee club?" Rachel smiled at them both and said

"It is. You're more than welcome to audition together or as a soloist." As she said that another two students walked. Madison was glad to see Kitty and said

"Kitty you came back." Kitty screwed up her nose and said

"Someone has to stop you from marrying your brother."

An hour after glee happened and announcement of invitationals. Rachel began to feel nervous again because that would mean new directions could quite possibly be going against Skylar and the warblers. As Kitty walked out of the choir room last and as Brittany followed her and Sam leaving the room. Rachel looked at Mercedes and said

"What are you doing here?" Mercedes looked at her and said

"I'm here for you to make sure you're okay after what happened" Rachel shook her head no and said

"No you aren't. You're here because you want something, because you want to take credit for something that someone else has, because you're lazy and want eveything without even trying. You are not here for me, or to make sure I'm okay, because where were you when Finn passed, when Santana and Kurt kicked me out of the loft and made even Elliot take their sides, where were you when Jesse and I got divorced or when I needed support after what happened in New York." Mercedes was shocked that Rachel spoke to her like that and said

"To be fair you wanted it all and crashed and burned. It was your fault." Rachel took a deep breath and said

"You don't even know what happened in New York to make that judgement. You don't know the truth, you only know what Santana and Kurt told you. So tell me the truth why are you here Mercedes?" Mercedes crossed her arms and said

"I'm here to make sure that you don't take Sammy." Rachel rolled her eyes and said

"I don't want Sammy. I'm not his type, he told me that in sophomore year. And also I'm happy being single, I haven't dated since I divorced Jesse. I'm not you or even Quinn that has to be with every guy I meet and then dump them because the relationship is getting to hard and you don't want to try." Rachel picked up her stuff and then left. It pained her to say that she was single but she knew she had to say it because if people found out about her and Skylar. It wouldn't end well at all.

Instead of driving home, Rachel drove straight to Skylar's. She was pleased to see Skylar home. She softly knocked on the door, and Skylar had opened it and he was only wearing pants. He was shirtless and his hair was wet, he hadn't had time to put a shirt on as he had just gotten out of the shower and put pants on when he heard a knock on the door. He led Rachel in and she immediately placed her lips on his without him asking her and she wrapped her arms around his neck while he closed his front door with his foot as his hands were on her waist holding her up with her legs around his waist while he kissed her.

And sooner or later he knew he had to tell Sebastian about him dating someone but he doesn't know how his brother would react to him dating his brother's and fiance's best friend Rachel and he doesn't know if Sebastian and Thad would get him and Rachel in trouble.
