Rachel went home in a daze as she thought about hers and Skylar's kisses. And how gentle he was at the first and how he asks her if he can kiss her wanting the consent. She was thankful Nick, Jeff and Trent weren't home yet as they would ask her questions about everything, and she couldn't tell anyone anything otherwise Skylar could get expelled and not get into college and she would lose her teaching degree and wouldn't be allowed to work at any school.

Rachel walked into her ensuite and had a relaxing bath she was thankful that Trent, Nick and Jeff gave her the ensuite. As Rachel sat in her bath she couldn't help but think about how hers and Skylar's last kiss felt urgent, and his words of not wanting to leave her at all. She closed her eyes wondering if Skylar wanted a relationship or if its just a distraction. Rachel needed to know.

She hadn't been in a relationship since Jesse dumped her because of her fail TV show. She had noone. She had no support at all. She had to flee. Noone knew where she went and noone knew that it was actually Jesse that made her do that TV show and made her basically fail on broadway. She was the laughing stock of New York, NYADA and Broadway and it was all thanks to Jesse. She fleed to Missouri to get her teaching degree and major in music. She did so as a fresh start and she was happy that she did. But she would never get over what Jesse did to her or the other horrible thing he made her do. Rachel would never get over that, and never understand why he did what he did, but she was happy to be away and divorced from Jesse and she was happy that Jesse doesn't know she came back, and happy that Santana and Kurt don't know.

When Rachel got out the bath, dried herself and changed into something comfortable, she walked out of her room when the door knocked. She opened it and saw Thad on the otherside. Rachel was always worried about this. She gave Thad a small smile and said

"Hey Thad. Come in, I won't leave you standing outside." Rachel stood the side as she let Thad in and she said

"I heard you and Sebastian are engaged. I'm happy for you Thaddy." Thad looked at Rachel as he walked in looking around and said

"Thanks Rachel. But that's not why I'm here. I just came to pick up something that Sebastian left here the other day and then I'll be gone." Rachel knew Thad would give her the cold shoulder because after all, Thad was hers and Trent's childhood best friend. And Rachel was the first person Thad had came out too and took in when his parents and abuelita had kicked him out. Rachel softly spoke

"Do you want some help Thaddy?" Thad stopped what he was doing and said

"Don't call me that Rachel." Rachel was shocked, she always called him Thaddy and she said

"Look i get your upset and angry at me and I deserve your cold shoulder Thad but how can we be in the same room together if you won't even talk to me and be at least civil." Thad was upset and he said

"You're right I'm upset and angry at you. And do wanna know why Rachel?" She nodded her head and said

"Of course I do." Thad turned to look at her with tears and said

"I relapsed Rach. And you weren't here with me, I was scared, yeah I had Nick, Jeff, Trent and Sebastian but I needed my best friend who was basically my sister and she wasn't there." Rachel knew of Thad's food issue and his own insecurities and his self doubt and the stress where he doesn't eat. Rachel was silent as Thad continued

"So tell me how I'm supposed to act when you show up here needing support. Tell me how I'm supposed to feel knowing that you weren't here when I needed you too, and you need me now because of everything that happened in New York. Tell me what to do, because I have nothing Rachel." Rachel didn't know either, all she could do was walk over to him and hug him and tell him

"I'm sorry Thad. I'm sorry you went through that all. And I understand everything I really. I took off without a second glance and only came back when everything blew up in my face. One day I'll tell you everything that happened in New York that also made me leave. But right now I can't." Thad hugged Rachel back tight and said

"I understand." Rachel felt guilty for leaving Thad. They pulled apart the hug, and went looking for Sebastian's cardigan that he left behind.

Later that night Rachel snuck out of her room, closing the door quietly behind her and snuck quietly out of the place, to meet Skylar at his place. Rachel drove to Skylar's wondering why he didn't dorm at Dalton and why he had his own place. She followed the directions that Skylar gave her. When Rachel reached the place, she softly knocked on the door which Skylar had opened for her.

Skylar led Rachel inside his apartment, and this time without asking her he kissed her first, he picked her up by the waist which made Rachel wrap her legs around Skylar as they kissed. Skylar carried her to his room and gently placed her on his bed, with him on top of her and once again Rachel felt Skylar's body react to her. They pulled apart the kiss and Skylar looked at her and said

"I'm not expecting anything, I hope you know that Rach." Rachel gave him a smile and said

"I know Sky. I know." Skylar placed a hand on her cheek, lightly stroking it with his thumb and said

"I also hope you know that this. Us. It isn't a distraction for me. I know that we've only shared a few kisses and basically only just met but the kisses they're real to me. You're real to me. And I can't stop thinking about you." Rachel was almost in tears at Skylar's words, and leaned her head up to kiss him and whispered against his lips

"Its real for me too Sky. I can't stop thinking about you either." Skylar smiled widely and peppered Rachel in kisses and said

"If we're going to do this, everything will be on your terms." Rachel looked at him and said

"And a secret too." Skylar looked at her sadly because he knew they had to be secret because of school and also because of his older brother Sebastian something which Rachel didn't know yet and said

"That too, no matter how badly I want to tell the world about us. But I understand Rach. And I knew what I was getting myself into when we first kissed." Rachel pecked his lips and said

"Same here, and I don't regret kissing you." Skylar rolled over and placed Rachel in his arms to cuddle and said

"I should hope so because I don't regret it" Rachel laid safely and contently in Skylar's arms, she didn't want to leave but she knew she would have to eventually otherwise Nick, Jeff and Trent would get worried about her.
