Rachel returned home that afternoon with the replay of hers and Skylar's kiss, and the gentleness Skylar had with his hands as he gently pressed her against his car but also pulled her closer when the kiss was deepening. Something not even Finn, Jesse or Brody did. Rachel also got a little excited when she felt Skylar's little excitement poking at her leg.

She sat quietly at the table thinking about the kiss and everything Skylar did as she listened to Nick and Jeff's conversation while Trent was out on a date with Blaine. Jeff looked at Rachel and said

"Rach, you okay, you seem distracted." Rachel gave a small smile and said

"I'm okay, i just can't believe this is my life now." Rachel was telling the truth maybe not the whole but the truth. Nick gave Rachel a reassuring smile and said

"Well you have the best group of guys looking out for you, supporting you and helping you out. And speaking of helping you out. Jeff and I found someone to help you with the glee club." Rachel was surprised that they found someone that and she said

"Who?" Jeff smiled and said

"Sammy." Rachel mentally sighed in relief but she did worry that Sam could tell Brittany who would definitely tell Santana, but Rachel will worry about that if it happens. Rachel smiled at them and said

"I'm happy that Sammy said yes." Nick agreed and said

"Same here. And Rach you start being a new music teacher tomorrow and you and Sammy start up glee club in two days." Rachel was nervous about it all, but she loved that glee club, and she will do anything to have the club back to its formal glory and back to how it was even with Finn taking over, and one thing she promised herself is that she won't be the glee director that Mr. Schue once was. She treat the students equally and let them shine and have their spotlight and not have favourites either and she knew Sam would want that too as he too was on the end of Santana's insults and bullying too where Mr. Schue did nothing to defend him not even when Santana sang Trouty Mouth about Sam and his lips as that was Sam that told her off not Will.

That night as Rachel couldn't sleep she wanted to message Skylar, but she couldn't as she didn't have his number. Rachel promised herself that the next time she saw Skylar, she would somehow ask for his number, how she didn't know, but she was determined to get it.

Eventually sleep took over her, and the next morning as her alarm rang for the day, she got ready for her new job slowly as she was becoming more and more nervous to start teaching. She was even nervous about being employed under Sue. Yes Sue helped her a lot and was never mean to her, she just knew Sue hated her because of proxy to the glee club and because she wouldn't join the cheerios when Sue had found out about her gymnastics and dancing background. Rachel wanted to save her voice and didn't want to be on the same team as Santana and Quinn two of the people that were bullying her and making antisemitic remarks about her. 

Rachel took a deep breath and then drove to the Lima bean and then McKinley. As she reached the Lima Bean, she saw Skylar's car, her hands were immediately very clammy and her lips were chapped and dry, she was even more nervous when she saw that it was only her and Skylar in the coffee shop before in the morning.

After Rachel parked her car, and placed lip gloss on her lips she walked inside and she immediately looked around for Skylar as she was walking up to the counter to order her hot chamomile tea and croissant. But she was immediately stopped and then spun around on the spot and she saw that it was Skylar. Rachel couldn't help but feel excited about this and couldn't help but look into Skylar's eyes and also study features and she swears one her life that she has seen his features before but she couldn't put her finger on where she had seen them before, but in that moment she didn't care, she just needed Skylar.

Skylar then let go of Rachel and lead her somewhere private which was behind the building. Once there. Skylar gently pressed Rachel against the wall but kept his hands on her waist as she placed hers around his neck. Skylar leaned in closer and whispered against her lips

"Can I kiss you?" Instead of answering him Rachel placed her lips on his. When Skylar kissed her once, Skylar knew that it wasn't a one time thing, and as the gentleman he is he asks her and Skylar also knew that because of the situation and because of Sebastian and Thad, him and Rachel had to be a secret. When they pulled apart for air, Skylar looked at her and admired her beauty and studied her features. Rachel started to feel insecure but then stood on her toes and kisses him, she needed him. She needed his lips on hers and as they kissed this time Rachel felt Skylar's excitement poking at her leg, and she was excited that she made that happen.

When they pulled apart once more because Skylar didn't want to go all the way behind a dirty building where people might see including his older brother. Skylar gave Rachel a piece of paper and said

"Its my number. And if I do anything that makes you uncomfortable or I'm pressuring you. Please tell me. As I never want to do that at all." Rachel was touched by his words. She pecked his lips and said

"I will, I promise." Skylar was pleased and hugged Rachel and said

"As much as I don't want to, we should be going. Me to school and you to your new job. But I do promise we will see each other again and it won't be behind the lima bean building." Rachel hugged him tight and then walked ahead Skylar who had to stay behind for a while to cool off so no-one would see anything, Skylar watched her walked away, and after a while he walked to his car when Rachel watched Skylar get into his car, as she walked inside the coffee ship to get her hot tea, as she was all of a sudden no longer hungry or even nervous, as somehow Skylar made all her nerves go away with his sweet gentle kisses but at the same time she was also happy and excited that she made Skylar be excited.

As Rachel made it to McKinley, she took a deep breath and walked in the music room she once found as a safe haven from Santana and her bullies for herself. Rachel knew she had some time to waste before class had started so she pulled her phone and put in Skylar's number. She wanted to message him but she was unsure if Skylar was in class or not, but she also knew that Skylar needed her number. She wrote out her message, closed her eyes and then sent it off to him.

It was only a simple hello, this is my number message. Nothing big, and nothing small, just simple. As she sent the text the bell rang, she placed her phone in the draw of the desk, and stood up to start her very first lesson of music and her very first time of teaching, she just hopes that she can keep Skylar off her mind, while Skylar is distracted in his English class with thoughts of her, her and him together, and thoughts of their kisses that they have already shared especially the one from earlier, Skylar was happy with Rachel and was excited to be with her, he never met anyone like her, even if they have to be a secret from everyone including his brother Sebastian and his future brother in law Thad.
