Sebastian sat across from Skylar drinking his coffee and said

"Elaborate, what did you mess up on? And maybe me being your older brother can help you and may be able to help you fix what you messed up on." Skylar wasn't sure on what to say to his brother, all he knew was that he couldn't tell Sebastian about him and Rachel, it was bad enough that Spencer almost found out he couldn't risk Sebastian. Skylar knew Sebastian was waiting on an answer, so Skylar said the only thing he could think of

"I kept something from someone and now they're upset with me because of how they found out without me telling them and won't let me explain anything to them, and I tried messaging them but they don't reply back. I miss that person Seb." Sebastian knew Skylar could be careless with something, he placed his coffee down and he hoped that nothing like last time was happening. Sebastian softly and gently spoke

"Did they find out what happened in your Junior year?" Skylar shook his head no and said

"No they didn't and this is nothing like Mrs. Ryan Seb. I promise it isn't, this person I kept this from does actually care about me i know they do as they opened up to me with something personal for them and after Mrs. Ryan pursuing me and lying about everything and saying she and i did things when we didn't all because I kept rejecting her and getting out of her classes to be away from her because she made me uncomfortable even though the whole time she was married, and now divorced because of what she did to me and you and Nana saving me and putting me in at Dalton and now McKinely. I'm terrified to get close to a girl Seb." It was somewhat the truth but that was before he met Rachel, and because of what happened in  his Junior English class, it's why he keeps asking Rachel for consent when he kisses her and put everything on her terms but he also know what he was risking with her and at the end of the day, he was the one that pursued her first and he is actually 18 too and Rachel is 20 almost 21 so they were both legal adults but Skylar knew that he and Rachel still couldn't take the risk.

Sebastian knew the only thing he could tell Skylar

"Well in my experience with Thad whenever I keep something from him and he somehow finds out or he finds out from Nixon, I give Thad space and time, and let him come to turns with everything and let him process it all, maybe time and space is all this person needs from you Sky, as it sounds like this person does really care about you and is only upset that you didn't tell them, that they found out from you and found out from somewhere or from someone else, and now they need time to process everything and come to terms with it on their own. I don't know what you kept from them, but give them time Sky." Skylar listened to what  his brother, and replayed the situation with Rachel in his head, and he said out loud without meaning to

"She did seem only upset that I didn't tell her." Sebastian looked at Skylar and said

"She?" Skylar went wide eyed when he realised what he said to his brother.

"Yeah she." Sebastian sighed and said

"So you're having girl trouble little brother. I thought you said you were scared to get close to a girl." Skylar sighed and knew that he couldn't get out of it now but he knew to avoid saying Rachel's name.

"It's before I met her. She's different Seb. She sees me for me. She's good, nice and caring and she listens too and she's also smart. But it doesn't mean that me getting close with her and letting my walls down that it doesn't scare because it does and now with me keeping something from her, I feel like I messed it up with her." Sebastian felt for Skylar. and knew that thanks to Skylar's old English teacher from when he was Junior at Carmel and what the teacher did to him it messed with him and his trust towards other people that weren't Sebastian himself, their nana, Thad and Spencer. 

Sebastian leaned over the table and placed a comforting hand on Skylar's arm and gently spoke

"From what you told me just now Sky. it sounds to me that you're in love with this girl. and keeping one thing from her doesn't mean you messed up otherwise I've messed up with Thad so many times and he's messed up with me. From what you told me bro, she isn't like Mrs. Ryan at all and you're just letting insecurities from junior year before Dalton get to you a lot and scaring you because you are back in public school. McKinley isn't Carmel High Skylar. it isn't. you're already slowly letting her in with being close to her. So right now just give her time, because if she didn't find out something from you, then that's all she's upset about and she needs the time and space to process what she found out." Skylar knew his older brother was right about everything, Skylar did love Rachel and was letting her in but he was also scared of doing so at the same time.

"What if she doesn't want to be around me anymore because I kept something from her?" Sebastian gently squeezed Skylar's and gently spoke

"Then she isn't worth your time Sky and how hard it would be because you love her, you will need to let her go and try to move on." Skylar knew Sebastian was right once more and said

"Thanks Seb." Sebastian gave a small smile and said

"Of course Sky it's what I'm here for, and when are Thad and I going to meet this girl you are in love with and has Spencer met her yet?" Skylar was nervous at what Sebastian had just asked him, and he said

"I don't know yet. we're sorta on rocks a little because of me keeping something from her and Spencer hasn't met her at all." Skylar had to lie because truth was Spencer has met Rachel but as their teacher. Sebastian picked up his coffee once more and said

"When you're ready Sky." They sat there drinking their coffees and eating their cakes before walking back to the florist where they saw Thad speaking to the worker but this time in Italian and arguing about Daisies. Skylar looked amused at the scene and said to his brother

"Who knew Thad would channel his inner bridezilla? In honesty I thought it would be you." Sebastian smiled widely at his fiance and said

"I know."
