Rachel tried disguising herself in her hometown Lima, Ohio, she didn't want to be seen or known as the girl who flopped the minute she achieved her dream and didn't really have anywhere to go as her dads kicked her out for flopping and she didn't even have a boyfriend to support her through it because Jesse had dumped her as he said 'she was no use.' And she had just left Shelby's place with all her stuff in hand as she felt unwanted and not cared for there as she was second best to Beth like she always was from Shelby.

Here she was walking on the street of Lima, Ohio not knowing what to do or where to go, until she bumped into Trent who she and Thad grew up with since kids and the only two to know him as Theresa. Trent was confused and concerned for his goddess who helped him and accepted him with his transition of going from female to male. Rachel was the first person Trent opened up to about everything and how he felt different and that it scared him a lot, that he just felt he wasn't a girl but a boy. He broke down crying that day as Rachel just hugged him and told him that she loved him and accepted him, and told him to embrace his truth, and spread his love and happiness and truth around, and she helped him with his transition and helped make sure that people loved and accepted Trent for who he is. So when Trent saw Rachel back in Lima and in the Westerville part of Ohio. It worried him a lot. He hugged her tight, letting her cry in his arms. Trent wiped her tears away and said

"What is a talented goddess like you, doing back in Ohio, I thought you were in New York, living your dream of being a broadway star in Funny Girl?" Rachel knew she couldn't lie to her best friend and she knew that eventually she would have to tell Thad everything too. She took a deep breath, sat on her suitcase that was standing up right and she told Trent everything that happened, even the feud she had with Santana over Funny Girl, Kurt always picking Santana's side, the time when she moved in with her friend Elliot and how Santana even made him choose her side leaving Rachel all alone, and she even told Trent about her rough break up with Jesse and what he made her do, and her dads not wanting her and Shelby still not caring about her.

Trent hugged Rachel once more and said

"Its okay Rachie. You can live with me, Nick and Jeff." Rachel didn't want to be a burden on them and she said

"Are you sure Trent? I don't want to be a burden on you, Nick and Jeff." Trent looked at her, smiled and said

"I'm sure Rach. And Nick and Jeff won't mind at all. We have an extra room. You can have it. Its all yours. We can help you, and help you get on your feet again." Rachel felt so grateful and appreciative for him, and for his help, she was happy that she wasn't alone anymore, that she still had her best friend helping her. Rachel hugged him tight and said

"Thank you Trent. I'm really grateful and I appreciate this a lot." Trent hugged her back and said

"Its okay Rachie, you'll do the same for me. Me and Thad both. Now let's pick up your stuff, and take them and you to mine, Nick's and Jeff's place. Where you can rest and get a good sleep. You can even sleep on the way too, and tomorrow you and I can sort out with getting your car back from your dads or Shelby's place." Trent pulled apart the hug and started to help Rachel with carrying her things to his car.

An hour later they arrived at Trent's, Nick's and Jeff's place. And Rachel felt a sense of relief that she was in a place, a safe place where she knows she's cared about and doesn't feel alone at all. When they walked inside Rachel was greeted by Nick who had just gotten home from working at his dad's law firm, Nick looked confused when he saw Rachel walking through the door and Trent said

"Rachel is going to live with us Nick, we have a spare room, told her that it was all hers." Nick smiled at Rachel and said

"Well home sweet home, Rach this place is yours now. Jeffy is in the shower right now as we speak. I'll help carry your stuff inside, while Trent shows you around and shows you where everything is." Nick walked out to Trent's car to bring in Rachel's stuff while Trent showed Rachel around.

Rachel looked at Trent and said

"Are you sure this is okay Trent?" Trent took Rachel's hand and said

"It is Rach. Nick was really happy about it and I know Jeff will too." Rachel nodded her head and she said

"If its okay. Then I'll help out anyway I can with grocery shopping, cleaning and paying rent too. I don't want to live here if I can't help out or pay rent, just because I'm your best friend and friends with Nick and Jeff, I don't want to live off you three rent free and not help you three out." Trent side hugged Rachel and said

"Its okay Rach, and I understand. I normally do the grocery shopping anyway as the first and last time I let Nick and Jeff do that together. They not only lost the shopping list, but they also got a lot of sweets and desserts. So, if you want to Rachie you and I can do that together." Rachel couldn't help but giggle at Nick and Jeff, and said

"I would love that Trent really, and I don't mind helping you guys cook at all either. And I'll even find a job too, so then I'm not taking advantage of you three at all." Trent walked into the kitchen to make them and Niff a cup of tea and said

"Helping us cook would be a really big help, and the job one, I might have a job idea for you. Between me, Nick, Jeff and you as well. It would be easy to bring up the money for it, and of course the job is for you and it would be perfect for you" Rachel was confused and said

"What do you mean Trent?" Trent handed her a mug and said

"A glee director at McKinley. I'm talking about you with the help and support from me, Nick and Jeff, being the new directions glee coach putting that group back together, while also taking up the music teacher position." Rachel was shocked and said

"Me a glee teacher, and what do you mean back together Trent?" Trent sighed and said

"Yes you a glee teacher. And its a long Rach, everything has changed since you left. Even Dalton." Rachel stood listening to Trent and wondered how much has really changed and said

"How much has changed?" Trent looked at her said

"A lot. But I'll wait until Nick finishes and Jeff gets out the shower, and we can all tell you." Rachel stood wondering, could she be the McKinley glee director and a music teacher?
