itachi pov:

Her wings...there aren't wings anymore... They are just... just feathers clunging to a bunch hanging on her back. Only one side of her small parts of wings is left. The other side is totally gone. Her feather dropped off as the wind blew past by. I caught it in my hands... white... no. At a closer look... it looks.. a bit silver shining under the moonlight.

kohii: itachi?

itachi: hai?

kohii: what are you thinking of?

itachi: nothing much.

She came to me and snatched what I was holding onto. 'don't think about it.'

She threw it away and the feather started to fly with the wind and float it to somewhere else. I looked at that... I jumped up from tree to tree and went to grab it.

Kohii:its just a feather.

Itachi: its yours. And I intend to keep it.

Kohii: itachi...

She leaned against my chest. Suddenly her legs gave way and I caught her nicely in my arms.

Kohii: gomene. Neh. I want to go to a place.

Itachi: where?

Kohii: call for junga.

I summoned junga. And his big -sized  bird body appeared.

Junga: what? I'm sleeping.

Kohii: junga...

Junga: kohii?

Kohii: the cave.

We got on the bird and it brought us to a cave like she said.  Junga poofed and dissappeared. I know , she's not going to survive today.  She's getting weaker... and...her wings...

I carried her piggy back to the cave. She leaned her head rested onto my shoulder. She closed her eyes and started to doze off.

Itachi: kohii.

Kohii: hai...?

Itachi: promise to wake up.

Kohii: what are you talking about? Of course I will.

After a while and we reached inside. The cave wa special. It had a hole on the above which allowed light to shone in. That light... it shone on only one thing....

A sakura tree.

I put her down there leaning against the sakura tree. I shaked her a little 'kohii.' She opens her eyes and smiles. Even smiling is difficult for her... not the enthusiastic one. Just... tired.

I push her head into my chest... thinking and knowing she's going to leave me... it aches my heart. I don't want her to go.

Itachi: is there anything you want? I will do anything. Anything.

Kohii: nothing.

Nothing? I feel even worse. How can dare be nothing she wants? I want to do more than nothing for her.

Kohii: ah. I know. But... its impossible.

I cup her cheek 'tell me.'

She looked a bit sad ' I... want to... have children with itachi. But...'

I kiss her lips to stop her. But  I was always too busy. I never had times to do what couples do. Watch a movie. Go on a date. Protect her. None.

I than got an idea. I kamui me and her into a virtual place.

Kohii pov:

Kohii: itachi. Where is this?

Itachi: just wait.

Than two small squeaky voices could be heard. They started running towards me and hugged me calling me... 'mama.'

Kohii: itachi... they are?

Itachi:gomene. This is the most I could do.

Itachi pov:

She looked into their eyes and her tears flowed. That smile. That happiness. That joy. At least... I was able to compensate it a little bit for all the times I didn't give the joy,happiness she needed.

Than she laughed a little ' why does this one look like you?'

Itachi: well... cos he is a younger version of me.

Kohii: eh... than how come the girl one is just... just a copy of me?

Itachi: well I don't know how you look like when you were young.

Kohii: ja... I got a glance of itachi-kun (kun is like saying younger) I guess its not fair if itachi don't get to see kohii-chan neh.

Itachii: I guess it is.

Kohii: ja ja jang.

She drew a picture on the ground. It looks really childish since she never ha any art lessons I guess.

I giggled at it.

Kohii: how come... you can even summon itachi-kun? And make another me?

Itachi: its my virtual world. I can create anything.

Kohii: I see. Can we go back there now?

I brought us out of the virtual world using kamui. While she landed , she tripped. I caught her by wrapping my arms around her waist and scooping her in.

I helped her to sit down and she sat down leaning against my chest 'neh... itachi.'

By now... I had no mood to cheer her up. I was all moody and sad...black... her feathers. Only one.... is left on her back.

Itachi: hai....?

Suddenly she screams in agony.  She rolls around on the floor screaming in almost endless pain. I cried... I couldn't hold it back any longer. There was nothing I could do. This was the pain huna-baa was talking about.

She finally stopped and she looked really tired... she is going to sleep... eternally.

I hugged her into my arms and cupped her head. My tears couldn't stop...

'Ita...' she said softly trailing off... as if taking all the energy just to call my name.

Itachi:hai hai hai. Nani. (What)

' wished... die... sa...kura ... ' she gasped hard than continued 'sasuke... live...' and... that was it. Silence. No more voice... no more... of... her existence.

Even in death. You thought for me huh. I knew,knew all the things that you did for sasuke. You were doing it for me.

You... you only thought of me.

You only had one existence - to serve to those contracted to you.

But I destroyed all that.

You met me.

And your entire existence was destroyed... given to me. For me.

And I... couldn't give any of my existence to you. I gave... it all... to konoha, the country who I loved and protected.

Gomene.  Next time when we meet again. I promise. For you.

I buried her under the sakura tree like she requested it to be. I than summoned the whole crow clan.

Reina:arigato itachi.  For telling us she's here.

Itachi: promise me something.

Reina: what?

Itachi: bury me beside kohii when I die.

Reina: ah. When your name gets erased from the contract scroll nah.

Itachi: arigato.
