Today, we have made it clear to our children

That their 10pm bedtime stories are blatant lies.

Today, we have reminded upon our children

To ignore the horrid screams and anguished cries

Of anyone who has never done a single crime

But be born from a mother and father who were not white.

To listen to our hate and all our demons.

Today, we have tattooed their frail, pale arms

Maps towards their ultimate shortcuts to freedom,

Involving white supremacy and racial slurs

While the minorities do nothing but wriggle in fear.

Today, we have defined our children a utopia

Population: Many! Those fit to enter? Not any.

Today, we have stripped our children of their free minds.

Forget the skies! We can just barely stay steady

On the Burj Khalifa because "Oh my God!"

"There are so many Muslims here! Let's kill 'em all!"

Today, we have torn our children's hearts apart

Because now, bullies are endorsed and not shushed.

Today, we have killed our children's vision.

Because now, their eyes are just simply mush,

Incompetent orbs that only seek solace

If only you're white and financially polished.

For today, we have ruined our children.

To the Fatimas and Ahmeds,

I hope you stay strong.

To the gays and the lesbians,

Do know you're not wrong!

To the Mexicans and women,

Keep on singing that song!

Because the only way to guide our future back to its path

Is to spread the song of love and serenity and not wrath.
