"Kashi, could you hand me the last plate on the table please?" The brunette asked. Kashitarou smiled as he nodded before grabbing the plate as he started handing it to his friend. "Thanks, now that should be the last of the plates now that the kitchen is clean."

Kashitarou looked at him, for so many years, the two had been friends. But only friends, but he wanted to be more than just that. He was sure that everyone else knew but.. to him, it seemed that Amatsuki just had no clue. He looked at the floor before a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Kashi?"

The brunette suddenly looked at the male infront of him who looked worried. "Are you okay?" He asked. Kashitarou nervously smiled as he started nodding, "Yes, of course! Why wouldn't I be? Now, let's just head to bed okay?"

"Ok.. If you say so..."

While the two started heading upstairs, Amatsuki was also making sure the friends were asleep. While they were downstairs, they had heard about Mafu and Soraru making a pillow fort. And so tommorow they really wanted to ask on how it went. As they opened the door, Amatsuki immediately plopped himself on his bed as he smiled. Kashitarou on the other hand sat on his bed, thinking. The two shared rooms, so it was tempting to him to just get in the red-eyed brunette's bed and just hug him.

"Kashi.. Are you sure your okay? You've been quieter ever since everyone else had went upstairs. What's wrong?" Amatsuki asked. His friend sighed before suddenly taking the other's hand, "It's just that I-I.. wanted to show you something"

"Like from outside?'

He nodded before suddenly opening the door, leading the brunette out the room before walking to the living room. Amatsuki was curious while he was led out the house, he wanted to know where on earth his friend wanted to show him. As they walked through the forest though. Kashitarou became nervous, they simply kept on walking, and walking.

As he looked around, he saw fireflies that were around the area. He smiled at their sorroundings as he then looked at Kashitarou, "Kashi look!" The male tilted his head a bit before seeing a wolf tiny wolf near the brunette. Amatsuki was petting the pup's head as he smiled. It was a nice sight to see though, seeing him happy was honestly so worth it to him. As long as the other was happy, he was happy as well.

"Kashi want to pet it too?"

"Sure, why not."

He kneeled down as he gently patted the pup's head. The male next to him let out a tiny giggle as he suddenly flinched. They turned to see a wolf growling at them. The two then looked at the small pup behind them as they now realized why there was a pup that was alone. It had gotten lost and now they had been found with it.

The wolf had then suddenly tried to bite the red-eyed brunette but Kashitarou had quickly grabbed him out of the way. They took off running while the other howled as the two brunette's started to panic a bit. And to be honest, the two weren't in the mood to kill anything at the moment.

Then they saw a a cave in the distance as they felt relief wash over them. Kashitarou turned to throw a a ball of power outside the cave as the brunette behind him tilted his head, "What's that for?"

"So that they don't find us. Wolves can be clever when it comes to finding something. But this time, they're out of luck when it comes to us." He responded with a smile. But the cave wasn't what he had wanted to show his friend though. Infact, it was almost too dark to see anything. He let out a disappointed sigh as he leaned against the wall behind him. He thought about going outside again, but even though the wolves couldn't find their tracks anymore, there was still a chance that they could get caught. So he figured it was best to simply just stay.

There was a cave he had wanted to show him that he had prepared just for the moment. But, he wasn't really sure if they were in the right one. Somehow, he always had the worst luck of misfortune when it comes to these things. Amatsuki on the other hand was looking around, hoping to find something to cheer up the male after taking notice of his sad mood. Until he found a small lever instead before turning his head, "Um.. Kashi, there's a lever here."

"Wait, really?!"

The brunette gave a nod before pointing at it. Kashitarou smiled before moving the male away from it, "Close your eyes for a sec, alright?"

"Ok?"

After seeing him close his eyes, the male pushed the lever as the cave lit up with string of lights hanging over where some crystals that were placed. There were even small touches that he had put, like tiny colored candles, and a few flower pots here and there. Kashitarou then tapped the brunette's shoulder, "You can open your eyes now." When he did though, Amatsuki was clearly amazed due to him suddenly hugging the male. "You did all this?!"

"Haha.. yeah. I did, you like it?" Amatsuki nodded as he hugged the male much tighter, Kashitarou didn't mind though. So he hugged him back gently before the other started talking, "It's weired.. we've been friends for so long. I must mean alot to you as a friend huh? Usually, I don't really expect to mean a lot to someone." But Kashitarou frowned, "Of course you mean a lot! And.. even more than a friend to me.." He said quietly but it was still enough for Amatsuki to hear. The male then let go of him before suddenly taking both of the red-eyed brunette's hands.

"Amatsuki... I like you, much more than a friend. So please don't say that you don't expect to mean a lot to someone! You mean so much to me. Perhaps even much more than that..." Kashitarou said as he looked at the red eyes infront of him as he leaned in. Amatsuki wanted to say something, but instead he felt a pair of lips on his. It was short tender kiss for the two, but even that was enough to make them feel fulfilled. As they pulled apart, Amatsuki smiled sweetly up at him as he hugged the male holding him close.

"I love you too then, Kashi."

Kashitarou smiled as he started pulling him in for another kiss, "Thank you, Amatsuki."

Well then.. I feel proud and worried at the same time cause, this is the very first confession I've ever written. So I hope you all liked it. I'm sorry if it was a bit short and, I'm sorry if this didn't reach any of your expectations though, I tried. ('；ω；｀)
